Yes I agree, just find yourself a good high-quality kibble, I usually get 26 percent protein, and I do try to stay away from wheat and soy which are bad for akitas, and I recommend people just have their puppies on kibble, some people want to do raw diet, which can be fine for adults but it's a little hard to monitor the protein and fat content and all the vitamins and stuff with the raw diet, it's better to have a kibble for your growing puppy so they get the proper nutrition as they're growing. Once they're done growing you can switch to a little bit of raw diet if you want, and also with your puppy you can add stuff in, like bones and chicken and rice and eggs and stuff like that but like you said, don't overpower the kibble. Let the kibble do its job of growing the puppy properly
@@arcticakitas76 I feed them professional formula 26/18 from www.extremedogfuel.com I am about to feed my female 30/20 since she’s pregnant. A few weeks away from delivering her puppies. Yes with raw unless the person is super dedicated but kibbles is really good when we find the right one 🐺🐾
