Built and used one of these for a few years. What a joy to use; ultra quiet and 90+% answers to my calls. My only concern (that was unfounded) was the toxicity of the passive heat sink; beryllium. Do not cut, drill, sand, scrape, etc. Okay already. :-) Loved it!Thanks for the memories.

Boom Baby! Hey tune that amplifier for max. light intensity then touch the plate cap to check resonance.
It is my opinion you should show all the bands even 10 meter.. But you do good videos
If the tube ever goes bad,and is hard to find.One could just drill the chasis out and install 4 572b"s in place of it.
