Saw them last Saturday at Colchester Arts Centre...outstanding performance by Martin and the band I would definitely recommend them to all fans of Rock music.
Last time I saw Wishbone Ash was around 1975ish. With the Doobie Brothers and ZZ Top at a stadium in Houston. Maybe it was Rice University. 47 years ago! Wow, they still have it.
@@martinpowell5769 Andy "Shark" Powell works hard, but his band lacks the WA swing. His drummer has a drum stick up his butt. He just cannot swing at all. Total straight ass. Great drummer but that stick in his butt will not budge. Andy Powell does not sound like Martin Turner vocally either. He is "evocative" at best....
Much better than Andy Powell's rendition, I saw them a couple a weeks ago, pretty good but would love to see Martin's band, they seem a bit more like the old band to me..
Andy gigs hard, and works like a dog, but the real Wishbone Ash vibe and feel is with Martin's band. Always has been. I am a huge fan of WA, and this WA music.

This is so much more Wishbone Ash than Andy Powel's truncated group - the twin guitar leads, following the original music - only the vocals are not quite as good, but they're good enough.
This is a original sound. Wishbone Ash. Great
Sold out show/ I think we know the real Wishbone Ash is any version with Martin Turner !!!###

My favourite bass lines from Martin on this one.
He's the best bass player in the world and has been since Wishbone 1.
A really nice touch there lads… and congratulations to Sonny for settling in so quickly 🥁

Martin Turner is Wishbone Ash and not Andy Powell and his imposters

Yes. I know what you mean. Nothing against AP but these guys have got that extra something.
@@TimGoodman Agreed. MT is the original founder and songwriter.
Better than Powells band. That bass really sets it off.

Danny the Bad Ass on the Wha-Wha pedal, Misha has his guitar set on "Stun", and Martin is the Wizard. LOOK OUT!! WA RISES!
