LOVE your sense of humor-I, too, walk through a hall and bump the walls! My scraps are crazy bc I save the little lines for scrap cards too but am into fall and Christmas cards so my scraps will have to wait! Best tip ever about lining up. It’s a SERIOUS issue for me!! Thanks for those ideas I forget, sometimes to take out my punches.. that’s a great way to get some extra embellishments and get rid of scrap paper👏🏾👏🏾
I forget about punches too. They seem to have fallen out of fashion lately, but they're soooo quick and easy. A die would take forever to cut out all these shapes. I hope you have some good punches in your stash that would work for a project like this, and if so I hope you'll post it to the project gallery, so we can all admire it!

Tip here I learned,cling wrap what your doing with the tape and you can do quite a lot of cuts plus it doesn’t cut the wrap
Oh, yes that's a wonderful idea! I love using press n seal for things too. They should make a version with a grid on it for us crafters, so we can line things up easier!

Those cards are really pretty! That was such a great idea using the Misti to line things up! I have a similar product from diamond press. I'll have to remember to do that. I'm terrible at getting things lined up. I have tremors and get things in the wrong place. It's really annoying!
Girl, I hear you! I have arthritis in my hands and I'm a nurse so I'm always looking at things from an ergonomic or disability view point. I'm so delighted to hear this tip might be helpful to you. Crafting should be relaxing and fun. Definitely not frustrating or annoying!

I had been using the upper left corner of my large score board to line up layering items, but using a sticky mat is icing on the making cake! 🎂

I use regular hole punches and a couple of circle punches I have to punch a gazillion dots out of scraps, I never have to waste small scrap bits and they work great for cards. I would love to own a few more shape punches too. Love the sticky mat technique, I have a hard time matting my cards straight so this will finally solve that!

I am really glad I watched this video, I almost didn’t. The alignment tips are so practical as is the two for one matting technique.
The card layouts are great for scrap busting. I quickly realized that the layouts work with just about any small shape you have. Even letters would work as long as your letter dies are relatively the same size. You could do an alphabet design where your sentiment is created by highlighting letters.

You just need to add stick glue over the adhesive strips and you have time to adjust the position
I've tried liquid glue, but not a glue stick. I'll have to find one and give it a try!
What did you use for the stitching?
It’s just a regular home sewing machine and cotton thread. I add a straight or zigzag stitch to just about every project and have been using the same machine and thread for many many years. I don’t know how to sew anything other than a few straight lines on paper though, so I’m not claiming to be an expert in the sewing department. 😊😊😊
