Thanks, you find one more great Finnish metal band! Tomi Joutsen, vocalist, is known for his ability to change from growling to clean vocals in split of second. Normally, I´m not so keen to growling, but Tomi Joutsen (and also Jari Mäenpää from Wintersun) is good. Guitarist Esa Holopainen (not related to Tuomas Holopainen) has done a big part of their music and lyrics.
Nice reaction, guys! Amorphis is absolutely great live, too. The band is worth checking out for all their output since the early '90s. This vocalist joined a few years later, but even their earliest albums are rather legendary. Lot of their subject material is derived from the tradition of Finnish-Carelian epical and lyrical poems, some of the core material is compiled in the Finnish national epic Kalevala and its more lyrical sister compilation Kanteletar. Amorphis started strong, but I think they're even stronger now with all the Anneke Giersberger collaboration etc. going on. Like I said, defo worth checking out live.

I think this song is overrated like many of their single songs. Then I totally fell in love with their newest album Queen of Time. The great songs there to be heard: The Bee (Official lyric video), Daughter of Hate, Heart of a Giant, We Accursed.
