This was and will be my last UA-cam video before coming to BITS Pilani. My family is inclined towards IITs but my heart resides here. I don't know why I feel connected to this place. I will give my best and I will definitely be there. I wish myself luck. I will come back here on 7th August, 2022.
I have spent my 20 years in this campus. Now my father got retired and living in a village nearby Pilani but I have been roaming around the world due to nature of my job since last 10 years. So nostalgic to see it again. Thank you.

I was in BITs for only two years...for my PG studies... Still i feel the vibes whenever Iam reminded of it. Those were really awesome days back then....EXCLUSIVELY OASIS and APOGEE....
ok what are the benefits of being at bits provides you with option of choosing your courses and profs fine even vit does that doesn't mean vit is a good college is it, secondly provides with an environment for pursuing entrepreneurship fine even an abc college from any state such as coep dtu nsut etc. can provide you with that + better academics (who knows) but why are there more entrepreneurs from bits well yes that's a question we should all ask from ourselves after seeing the fee structure of bits pilani 21 lac to be approx. that much of amount can only be afforded by someone who willing to take the risk , third flexible attendance rule i think that thing is a bizarre in a course like engineering if were in bits i would have never missed a class after knowing the fact that i am paying 21lac to the college ,4 has reputation compared to iits well that's completely a myth i mean if you believe it you are nothing more than a child i would say it's just a little overhyped that's all if you were to ask me state colleges like dtu , coep, coe guindy , nsut are far far better than bits pilani all in all i would say that's not worth spending that much on any college when you could get equivalent from a better college and stop seeing these videos that overhype an institution so so much
Being an alumnus of this campus, I would like to add one more thing for aspirants out there. BITS offers an intense arena for cyber gaming too and the gaming culture in the college is one of the best in the country! Every year come extremely skilled gamers across all key domains - FPS (CS, COD, PUBG), Sports (FIFA), Racing (NFS) and many more. They compete not only during the fests' events but also every day because all hostels are connected with each other through LAN networks with speeds as high as 50 MBPS.
9:50 gave me goosebumps as I am also an alumni of G.d Birla Centre for Education founded by B.K Birla and Sarla Birla . Our schools always encouraged us to get enrolled here

I had witnessed both old & new BITS in my college life, so can rightly say that old hostels had a different charm. 🙂

Wonderfully well made film guys. I did my pharmacy here from 1974 to 1978 and had stayed in Ram and malviya Bhawans. Your film got me very very nostalgic I must admit. Especially our Oasis 77 culfest and many others. Surprising though was the absence of peacocks in your film!! Well made anyway Kudos!!

Honestly, the Pilani Campus disappointed me. It is unbelievable that the hostels lack western toilets. The areas like the TT Room look like some poorly maintained govt offices. Also the so called redis look like street side sutta shops so if you miss a meal then good luck finding clean ways to fill you up. I understand the Pilani Campus is old, but that's the point. They've had plenty of time to modernize but they didn't for whatever reason that may be. In the end, I'd choose the Goa or Hyderabad Campuses for sure.
Yeah it disappoints me too...but after talking to many iitians, bitsians I got to know that bits pilani campus is the most reputed one, even though the location is not good, weather is extreme, and old style buildings but it's still leading all 3 campuses....and there are many other comments in this video itself telling how they had a great college life,hostel Life here...so I don't think that these things matters much when you go to college, but what matters is the peer group you make here, the hardwork you do here,etc.
First thing first! Thanks for sharing such an wonderful journey of a historic and still...if not most..happening knowledge center called BITS Pilani !! While I'm not comparing but certainly it shows the level of sincerity & dedication of the Management in developing & managing such an wonderful institution in pursuit of knowledge!! I would term this as modern day Nalanda or Takshila!! Feeling proud to be an Indian and all of you for contributing in making this Institution an iconic one !!! Keep up the Good Job!!

Just go through your books thoroughly, this is not jee that you will learn formulas, learn all the concepts pretty clearly, practice maths, BITSAT do not ask any extremely theoretical problems but make sure you understand the formulas pretty well. Practice English and read news.
@@Deep0169 The only way to make your self good in physics, especially mechanics and electrostatic is to understand the concepts well, ask your teacher to explain you all the concepts pretty well and try to understand it with examples. Then comes formulas, when theory is clear, formula should look easy, but you need to understand the different situations a question can be based on, like a stone can fall from air, rooftop or a helicopter and many more examples, so you have to understand what logic to apply at these stages. Lastly a small advice, just keep your mind clear and understand the situations well, then everything will be clear. Don't search for shortcuts on Google before you get hold of the theory and formula. For BITSAT? Then don't skip anything, BITSAT asks you about anything that is in the book

ok what are the benefits of being at bits provides you with option of choosing your courses and profs fine even vit does that doesn't mean vit is a good college is it, secondly provides with an environment for pursuing entrepreneurship fine even an abc college from any state such as coep dtu nsut etc. can provide you with that + better academics (who knows) but why are there more entrepreneurs from bits well yes that's a question we should all ask from ourselves after seeing the fee structure of bits pilani 21 lac to be approx. that much of amount can only be afforded by someone who willing to take the risk , third flexible attendance rule i think that thing is a bizarre in a course like engineering if were in bits i would have never missed a class after knowing the fact that i am paying 21lac to the college ,4 has reputation compared to iits well that's completely a myth i mean if you believe it you are nothing more than a child i would say it's just a little overhyped that's all if you were to ask me state colleges like dtu , coep, coe guindy , nsut are far far better than bits pilani
all in all i would say that's not worth spending that much on any college when you could get equivalent from a better college and stop seeing these videos that overhype an institution so so much

Honestly, the Pilani Campus disappointed me. It is unbelievable that the hostels lack western toilets. The areas like the TT Room look like some poorly maintained govt offices. Also the so called redis look like street side sutta shops so if you miss a meal then good luck finding clean ways to fill you up. I understand the Pilani Campus is old, but that's the point. They've had plenty of time to modernize but they didn't for whatever reason that may be. In the end, I'd choose the Goa or Hyderabad Campuses for sure.
Yeah it disappoints me too...but after talking to many iitians, bitsians I got to know that bits pilani campus is the most reputed one, even though the location is not good, weather is extreme, and old style buildings but it's still leading all 3 campuses....and there are many other comments in this video itself telling how they had a great college life,hostel Life here...so I don't think that these things matters much when you go to college, but what matters is the peer group you make here, the hardwork you do here,etc.

how to prepare for BITSAT 2022
Right now I'm in class 12.
Just go through your books thoroughly, this is not jee that you will learn formulas, learn all the concepts pretty clearly, practice maths, BITSAT do not ask any extremely theoretical problems but make sure you understand the formulas pretty well. Practice English and read news.

@@Deep0169 The only way to make your self good in physics, especially mechanics and electrostatic is to understand the concepts well, ask your teacher to explain you all the concepts pretty well and try to understand it with examples. Then comes formulas, when theory is clear, formula should look easy, but you need to understand the different situations a question can be based on, like a stone can fall from air, rooftop or a helicopter and many more examples, so you have to understand what logic to apply at these stages. Lastly a small advice, just keep your mind clear and understand the situations well, then everything will be clear. Don't search for shortcuts on Google before you get hold of the theory and formula. For BITSAT? Then don't skip anything, BITSAT asks you about anything that is in the book
