Streetbeefs has been around for ages. Originally, it started as a way for young men to settle their beef with a one on one fair fight. Put the guns down, put the knives away and fight with humility and honour. Lots of the early fights lack technical ability, but they come to really make a fight of it. There's some fighters from SB that went on to train and compete professionally

🤕I had a fight last night and got my ass whopped I’m 5ft 11 fairly muscular built and I got knocked down by a 5ft 1 guy who come out of jail i split my elbow on the concrete and cheap shorted me in the temple because of the blood loss I could respond, but it’s made me stronger made me realise I need to protect myself and learn a fighting style and gain confidence I have had fair share of being beat usually because im too nice and don’t like confrontation, I like to say thank you to bath earn helping me gain confidence too engage in martial arts 🙏🙏🙏🙏

sorry to hear that mate, says a lot about you the fact that you've decided to learn how to fight out of the ocurrency instead of accepting to live vulnerable and fearfull for the rest of oyur life. i've always liked fighting and sadly got hit by a car and even a year after my knee is not at the state i'd like it to be. still not leting that hold me back and making progress and i'm very happy and confident of what i'm capable of. wish you a rapid recovery mate

Thank you man appreciate that sometimes fighting on the street can go either way you win some and lose some it’s made me realise tho that I don’t have any technique all thought I’ve been in 6 fights before I’ve lost a few of them 🤦🏻‍♂️, I’m not cocky the least though I think people just see me as a know it all and I fall out with people because of having Asperger’s I’m not the most great social person to be around, thank you dude same to you wish you well with your recovery, that’s inspired me to get on after this and take some lessons 🙏🙏🙏

As a shorter guy myself I would focus on dodging, blocking, low kicks/sweep kicks, grappling the leg or arms and going for takedowns, it's good defense to counter your opponents advantage. In some scenarios you'd want to keep distance because me personally I don't like getting that close to an opponent unless it's absolutely necessary but I try to avoid that. In most fights like that I usually like using more defense than offence.
