[ENG SUB] Miyano Mamoru & Eddie Redmayne meet for Fantastic Beasts release!

Here's bits and pieces of the Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore promotional event held in Tokyo last week, well, at least the parts where Eddie and his handsome Japanese voice were together!

At first I only translated the Japanese parts, then I realized that sometimes we watch videos in noisy environments so I ended up subbing also the English parts. Wasn't sure what was best at all!

Eddie is such a sweetheart, if you watch until the end you'll see a lot of fanservice, like a pro idol xD
Also, it was a bit weird seeing Mamo there and, like, all the attention was onto someone else…his English has improved a lot btw!

Totally agree! He has that kind of talent that goes beyond language and cultural barriers. And I actually really hoped he would go to some convention for Dragon Ball this summer (was hoping for Japan expo in Paris since it’s the closest to me) sigh 😕

Kind of a late comment, but he actually was at Anime Expo 2019, so at least he's been here in the past! Hopefully he can come back to the US in the near future, though! :D

After watching this video, I think it'd be interesting if we can have more events where a seiyuu meets a Hollywood star, kind of like with Mamo and Eddie Redmayne here. In fact, I think a collaborative movie between a seiyuu and Hollywood stars would be very cool.

Soooo true! Well, Mamo is exceptionally versatile as we can see in this video, but I’m sure other seiyuus would be cool to see too. I don’t know why but Suwabe san and TsudaKen immediately come to my mind thinking about it🤔

@@mariposachannel I think Hayamin would also be suitable candidates, to be honest, since she can speak English pretty well. Although, we've only seen her do that when she sings. I don't know if she can speak English at a conversational level.
