It does weigh more when fully charged. E=mc^2. Therefore, additional mass = 5120Wh x 60seconds x 60minutes / (299,792,458m/s)^2 = 205 x 10^-12kg or 205 nanograms heavier when fully charged. I'm glad you could tell

I've ordered one to expand my existing 9.5 battery. This costs around £420 more than the previous version 5.2 kwh.
That including the leads? They came with the old 5.2s
If wait, I fit givenergy and when you put a 5.2kWh battery on a 9.5kWh it down grades the charge and discharge of the bigger 9.5kWh from 3.6kW down to 2.6kW.
Send it back and get another 9.5kWh,
@@bradleyarcher9840 When you say the 5.2 battery downgrades the charge/discharge of the 9.5 battery did you mean the existing 5.2 battery or this new 5.12 battery?
I know for a fact the old ones do, I’m unsure about the new ones but I wouldn’t be surprised.
Where did you order yours from and does it have a new spec sheet? Failing that I'd contact givenergy to find out.
I’m commissioning one of there systems today so if I call them I’ll ask myself and post back.

I had 2 of these installed in April.
These are 5.4 kw with 4% reserve.
2x5.4 kw = 10.8 kw , 10.2 kw usable through Eon.
If I change the firmware from Eon to GivEnergy, the reserve will be 20%.
May I know why?

It’s a fuse and isolator…
It’s not a fuse, it’s just a DC switch. It saves having to fit one separately in an enclosure.
What’s the charge and discharge, and if you bolt it to a 9.5kWh battery does it still reduce the capacity of the 9.5kWh down to the charge/discharge of the 5.2kWh/5.12kWh battery?
Andy, to add to my 9.5, because it has faster discharge and new bms, will that still seamlessly add to my 9.5. Rough costs minus installation?
Can it be mounted the other way around - portrait rather than landscape? I have a small gap that I might want to shove one into.

Can you tell what is the LFP battery cells energy density?
Can this be daisy chained with an All-In-One?
