I've never gotten more than 450 kills on a bug mission. So last night, Super Helldive. I tried one of your loadouts from a recent video. Guard dog + Tesla Tower + Napalm Barrage + Quasar Cannon. Vengeance Rifle + Grenade Pistol + Thermite grenades. The armor passive I used the one that gives you extra grenades. Making sure that I threw the Tesla Tower on every bug breach, I think I used the Napalm Barrage once, or maybe twice. Cannon for anything, Charger or bigger. I ended up with 790 kills. I think I'm gonna switch out the Napalm for a Gatlin turret.
I'll give you the "perfect build" -shield generator back pack -quasar -eagle bomb run -eagle cluster bomb Medium armor with engineer kit, thermite grenade, revolver, scyte in primary. That's all. Shield gen so you can tank like a beast, quasar so you can destroy almost every thing... One shot hulk, one shot dropship, one shot tower, one shot fabricator... Unlimited ammo. Eagle bomb for building or small troops. Eagle cluster for massive light infantry horde. Scyte... Unlimited ammo, insane accuracy so you melt bots in the head. Thermite... One shot tank, hulk, fabricator... And you have 5 of it... You never lack of ammo, destruction capacity... And your eagle run reload is about 100sec... You can 3 or 2 shot the walkers with the revolver, the only thing are the attack ship... You have nothing to take them down quick... So 4 shot in the same reactor with revolver, or direct hit with the quasar. That's the best loadout you can have against robot. And... The same against terminide but take the pistol grenade instead of revolver.
I like your thinking with this build. The only thing I might change would be swapping one of the Eagles for an Eagle Strafe. The Airstrike and Cluster Bombs (iirc) both hit perpendicular to my throw, while the Strafe hits parallel to my throw. I like to have one of each so I can match the attack to the enemy's orientation to my position. Just my 2¢. I use Thermites a lot, so I may start running an engineer passive rather than my usual scout.
I love this build but I always take the jump pack over the supply pack for the extra mobility. I also do light armor with stealh modifier to make you be able to sneak past patrols more easily. Avoiding the bots becomes a lot easier once you get a few mechanics down so you don't run out of supplies constantly either. I can't stand how slow I would be with heavy armour but I do use it for those eradicate missions because it would be impossible to stay alive longer than one minute lol.
I use light armor with the servo passive. It's great to throw a 180mm into the middle of a base, confident that I won't come short, then run away and comeback later.
I also use Heavy Armor almost exclusively vs the bots. The armor plus the fortified passive is more than worth the loss of mobility. I feel like I get one to two-shot by bots when I wear light armor. Plus, heavy armor just looks cool!
My go to load out for bots has been heavy armor with extra padding, crossbow, the revolver, thermite, eagle airstrike, 500kg, ballistic shield, Railgun. I almost never die.
the main reason i don't like using the scorcher is how it takes like 15 shots to take out rocket chickens lol. so dumb. i take the purifier all the time mainly for that reason
I'm digging this duo play style, you've grown really from no commentary videos. Always a pleasure to watch, thanks background gaming!
"Alright, extraction's clear" is my new motto I'd want to hear instead of a good night

I only run light armour with extra throwing range. Helps me not get shot at. Also the best stratagem against bots is a rock lol. Cover is OP

Best is subjective. And the shield generator is a crutch.
@@chrisR-B crutch means ? 🤔
My favourite HD2 content. Nice to see you on the bot front for a change!
Heck yeah! First. Love your content brother. Keep it up!
7:38 that drone scene was depressing
Stratagem jammers could be fun if they randomized stratagems you call in!
BUT it is a random one from ALL POSSIBLE ones!
I love the double commando + EAT for bots. I usually pair with Rocket & MG Sentries personally.

Nothing to add, just here to like the video and save to my watch later list!
light stealth or the commando armor is realy nice with throwing knives for stealth
Great stuff
Almost 7k, they grow up so damn fast :’)
gotta aim for the leg joints, especially with the senator
I only wear light armor with times two grenades for every level every mission, bots and bugs
you can use the scorcher to take out gunship, engines 5-6 six
Striders are two shot to their bottom part between the legs with the revolver because it is medium armor
Always shoot the scout striders with your Senator heavy pistol.
36:45 as a smoke grenade enthusiast, I've never seen a better opportunity for smoke grenades
Extra padding light armor xddddd
i hate sand... its course and rough .... and it get evary where. im gonne be glad to get of this dustball

Aim for the chicken legs friend
@@memepope3644 nah, the purifier is way better. uses way less ammo and does more dmg.
60% of the time, it works every time

Every day you have a new "best loadout"... Pretty ridicul.
They are all good dogs Bront.
why you no charge scorcher for the striders?
