Tory Island Dog & Dolphin

- I first learned of these animals while watching the BBC's Countryfile programme, so I set off for Tory Island, Donegal - not expecting them to oblige us. However, they turned up on cue - this is my video from July 2008.
Edit: The Japanese network, TV Tokyo, broadcast some of this footage on their show “Doubutsu Peace” (literally translated “Peace Animals”) on 18 May 2018.
Two dolphins helped me to find the entrance of the harbour when I broke the mast of my sailing boat and I was in distress with strong winds at large of Marina del Rey. They placed themselves at each side of the boat and literally guided me to safety. I will never forget this incredible experience and how extraordinary are these beautiful creatures!!!🙂🙂🙂🙂😍😍😍🤩

Amazing thing is that the dolphin is fully aware that the dog cant see when he's under water and uses that to play :P

I used to fed dolphins around the shipyard where i used to work years ago..In return they helped to keep the shore clear from sharks and even protect us swimming from danger
When i was shrimping on a shrimp boat i fed some dolphins if they catch u feeding dolphins in Louisiana its a big fine..

I've seen numerous videos like this of dogs and dolphins interacting but never seen a dolphin playfully splash water at the dog like that before. Pretty amazing really.
Absolutely wonderful to watch, dolphins are the dogs of the sea, only natural they play together, or so it seems!
It is incredible how animals teach us with very simple samples, how easy it is to live in harmony with others regardless of species, race, physical appearance, just letting flow and feel the language of the heart, not the judgmental reasons coming from all the ideological bullshit that society imposes as rules; which only come to satiate the perverse morbidness of many narcissists and sociopaths masqueraders.

That was beautiful. I didn't expect to see a dolphin play like that - coming up from behind, splashing the dog, the air bubble and the almost tale nudges.

i lied on an island. these are GREAT manuals. it would lead her back to boat, just like they will sometimes protect humans from sharks and also help lead to shores.

This is touching, it seems the dog is aware that the dolphin isn't concerned with anything but being close to another animal. The interaction is apparently just investigating the presence of another being. It's almost a spiritual seeking out of another sentient being.
