All modern double deckers have this handrail, in some cases like the enviro 400's, there are one each side, but i do not know why or what there purpose is, at a guess i would say cleaning maybe but i dont know, sorry
Ive gt a question for u?! Where i live First operates! And on the double deckers, there is a hand rail on the outside edge of the front top deck window! Why?!!
Great video! I don't suppose you'll be doing any howto vids about modifying the buses. Would be interesting to see what techniques you've developed from your experimenting... I have an Enviro200 I was going to rebrand as a Humberside fastcat but also just found a 300 kit which is the make it should be, so not sure which to go with now (probably the kit and offload the 200 :) Have never modified one before though... - Sim

The hand rails on the outside edge of double deck bus's is to protect the bus from damage from trees over hanging the road.
