  • Painting abstract art human figures is easier than you might think. Painting figurative can be fun. I will show you how to paint abstract figures in this easy abstract painting for beginners. I also show you some basics in acrylic painting. Figure abstract art is a way of human abstract art. Abstract painting figures or painting abstract human body is about looking. What do you need and what can be left out in human abstract painting. Modern figure art can be a great hobby because for human art painting, especially abstract human painting the game is to what not to paint. When will you make your first modern art figure painting?

Other materials I use are in random order: 5, 10 and 40mm brushes, palette knives, acrylics medium, Ecoline liquid watercolor, Lyra color pencils, Lyra soft pastels, oil pastels, Stabilo color pencils, paper palette pad and basic masking tape. I also use household items like a permanent marker, scrub sponge, scissors, paper towel, and so on.

I'm excited! I'm 72 and art-challenged. But I need to paint. Recently in my landscapes I have been hiding obscure faces because I needed to have some sort of a creature and not just sky and mountains and trees. I then realized that my inner artist needed to make human figures. I was surprised at the number of artists on UA-cam showing how to paint figures. I quickly got a big list of videos to watch. But then I saw Albert's video and this is where I will start. I can do this! I'm excited!

Thank you! As someone new to painting I’m drawn to abstract expressionism but have been hesitant to include people within the composition. This video has captured the process I needed to get my head wrapped around how to approach the human figures perfectly. I’m looking forward to giving it a try!

Hi Dee, LOL, I know, I try to improve (this video is from 2 years ago) but on the 'utter' side, I don't mind that much. It's about the painting. I personally like to hear accents. In our small country you can hear them too and have an idea where they grew up. A lot of people don't like them, but it's also a personal thing. Spoken language becomes art with a personal touch, why would you want to focus on sameness when you can have individuality?
