Glad you like it! That saw came from a old timer down in Georgia i bought most of his saws and that was the last one from it that i kept. Hated to see it go but times are tough and I'm stoked and honored to see it go to your collection!

Long time ago I saw a video on chainsaw safety. It told of what happened to a mechanic that started saws on the bench. The bench had triangular piece on the sides so stuff would stay on it. The saw was running while he adjusted the carb. Yes, the bar was on & turning. As the saw moved on the bench under vibration the chain caught those end pieces & the saw went into his face! It didn't show his face before or afterward but he lived thru it. Everytime I see you start a saw on your bench I think of that. All it takes is 1 time!

$425 + 88 shipping is a good price for one of these. I paid a little more for the other one. I too look under the hood and clean them out before giving them a test run. Does yours have the brown/yellow coil or the later white coil? Mine came with the later white coil with no spark and was wondering if they came with that white coil or the brown/yellow coil. I swapped it with a same time period pro mac 700 that came with the brown/yellow coil to test it. the brown/yellow coil has two ground leads; one is routed to the mounting stud; the white coil has only one ground that leads to the on/off switch. take care
