Each? Because that’s crazy money unless you’re talking a full set. Then $700 is still cheap for a full set. My 275/35/19 cost about $600 for 2 shipped with warranty
@@airyordan6291 yeah they went up in price a lot since covid. Everyone found out they were great tires for the money. I found my front for $80 used but very few miles so they were basically brand new. Total spent was about $730 vs probably 1300 for a full set now. Almost made me get michelins tbh
Personally I'm not worried about extra cost. I mean sure it would be nice to have cheaper (in cost) tires. But for me since I don't daily drive my car performance is much more important. I need tires that will stick, and if that means I have to pay twice as much then that's what I need to do. But then my car sits in the garage 4-5 months out of the year plus any rainy day. I can see how for you and those in your position where this might be the better deal.
I had a Camaro RS that came with Pierreli P Zero.. 275 in back and 245 in front.. and it did same thing.. even when I got new ones.. I switched to the Indy 500, same size... as the stock.. and it quite doing same.
Thanks for sharing your initial thoughts ! Definitely still looking forward to seeing the subjective testing, but it’s nice to know what you think so far. I got my lug nuts in but am still holding off on swapping my brakes/rims because now I’m wanting to do a caliper paint and full brake job at the same time. I like the way they look on your car !
The word you were looking for is called "tramlining". It's when the tires follow the grooves in the road.
That's the one haha
One thing I complain about the R888’s it’s not a very comfortable ride however the R wasn’t designed for a daily driver
I heard the Rs are a rough ride but they definitely beat everything else for grip. Especially in a boosted car like yours
@@CanadianCruisin absolutely
Good lively review. I would just like to know where these tires are manufactured? (It's on the sidewall.) And where did you have them installed?
3:43 I think its called Tram-Railing because of the way tram tracks are grooved rails to let trams run on streets
Sounds right. It's something like that
@@CanadianCruisin I get the same experience here ....
@@scubasteve7680 it's our tax dollars at work keeping the roads safe 😂
I love the Firestone firehawks. I was going to do 20s but I kept the tires at size 19. I heard the 19s give you the best traction and performance.
I bought 18s of these tires for $412 in 2020 and they were around $700 a month ago. Crazy. Then they went out of stock so I got Potenza Sports
Everything is crazy now
Just bought (4) 205 45 R 17 and they where $960

@IPL_VIC full set still a giant increase

Heh 19 inch rim would have been much more comfortable imo
Going to install the new Diode Dynamics sequential turn signal / fog lights tomorrow . . . 😀
Awesome. I was looking at those to but not sure yet.
You will feel traction when the weather is around 27 degrees and up thank for the review.🇨🇦😎💪👏
Nice vid. How do they compare to the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S?

Best to get it all done in one go. Less hassle taking everything apart so many times :)
the word you couldn't think of is tramlining
First !
