I'm so glad you guys are continuing on with this exploration now spotlighting the Clark Kent side of the equation. I'd like to propose an idea for you guys to continue this on even further by analyzing the animated #Superman and Clark Kent costumes as well, as I think that would also be really interesting. We even just got another one for Superman given that he got a new suit at the end of MAWS S2.

Kirk looks very Robert Mitchum-like in those photos.

There was a bit of difference with Kirk's hair when he was Superman. It got a little messed from cartoon-flying and doing the super-things he did. Only once in a while did you see George Reeve's hair mussed when he did super-things, and that was pretty much only in the first few episodes of the series.

Kirk Alyn is artist Wayne Boring’s Clark Kent/Superman come to life.

The glasses argument has always bugged me a little, as someone who wears them you do look different without them. But for sure body language is a parge part of it. In general Clark disguises work as a sum of their parts and not separate elements on their own.

I think it works great for the general public. When you get into Lois, Jimmy, Perry, Lana et al it strains believability.
