- I bought this Range Extender to improve the signal of my 5G router. This Wi-fi repeater promises to boost WiFi signal in two bands 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, that is why it has two Wi-Fi aerials, so far I tested the range of this repeater outiside to find out what is the maximal range of this range extender.

That's what I use. The router is in my girlfriend's apartment on the second floor . I live on the first floor 2 doors down and I ALWAYS HAVE a strong signal, even outside.
Now many of my friends use the Netgear extender. 5 stars and it's not expensive 59.95$ Canadian

Do you happen to know what Wi-Fi band you robotic vacuum operates on ??? You can always use only one band from the repeater. If your robotic vacuum operates on 2.4 GHz you can use 5 GHz band in the repeater so the whole 2.4 GHz band is left for the vacuum claner.

I used the wps connection but the repeater was open to anyone to connect, no password protected , Idon't know what to do ? thanks

This is just a repeater if you have an open network you can set open network as well on the repeater. So it is possible to have it without password access.

I do not know, yet but I am planning on performing a manual settings video for this device so I will try to include this very thing in it. But you will have to be patient I am quite up the walls at the moment

Just ordered it and set it up; it works
Before I had avg 1MB/s wireless
Now it's 2MB/s wired (Pc is on 2nd floor and router is ground floor)

Do I use my original WiFi network or the new ones that the extender gave me
you have to use the new network the extender provides, depending on your device you can always memorise 2 networks and it should automatically choose the stronger signal

Mine stays connected for 2 days and then disconnects ! I have to power off then on again to reconnect 🥲 Why is this happening?

When i connect to the device it connects for a second then sends me to the website to set it up again

can this device can be set up on mobile too?
Yes.All is explained in the manual but the best thing to do is just use the WPS key on the side of the device with WPS key on your router and you are up and running in seconds.
BuyOrBuyNot but ios devices dont wps right? i just want to extend my friends wifi because its so slow when im at the other room.
I cannot bet on it but it should be possible to use manual settings to get it running
