You are correct. This is especially obivious if you pick up more buffs and also get 4th and 5th arms.V1, being a robot, is not limited to just doublewield

Cause this is hilarious.
Here are some tips for you:
The Alt and regular fire of the red pistol do the same damage so sometimes it's better to just shoot them normally
You can grappling hook the cannon ball for easier punching
Parrys heal you Even if it's a projectile and Even if the enemy is covered in sand (your own don't heal you though)
You can dodge the explosion of the pump shotgun with a dash to use it against enemies
If you shoot the grenade of the blue shotgun with the red rail gun you get the largest explosion in the game
I would go out to grab the alternative versions of the weapons, they can really help (1 limbo, 1 in greed, and 1 in 7-2)
Some tips about the weapons you're using:
You're shooting the nailgun too early, the green bars mean the charges you have, you have two, and the orange bar above means how much damage the burst will do, you're shooting it way too early and not using your second charge.
The Pump Shotgun overpump explosion can be dodged if when you shoot you dash just right before, it's useful for when there are many enemies around you or just doing big damage to a big boi
Havent watched the vid yet, but 7-3 is based on the forest of suicides from Dantes Inferno. Those who committed violence against themselves are doomed to become trees, and every time their leaves fall, its like a limb being torn off. Even the catholic church at the time thought this was too hard of a punishment.

Something Ultrakill does extreemly well is scaling.
You dont get more powerfull weapons. You dont get stat bonuses. You dont get things that make others obsolete.
And you get only very very few "must use X weapon to counter Y enemy". Just shooting works against everyone.
What you get is options.
Everything else is just you.
YOUR skill, YOUR ability.
The game gives you nothing for free.
Yet it gives you everything needed to feel AWESOME

I can honestly picture them saying this and its a genuinely hilarious thought
Fun fact in the level 7-4 theres another earthmover in the distance who has begun a fight with the one you were climbing on in the begining the earthmover tried to strike you with its weapon but was attacked and from then on they both endlessly fired at each other until you finished one of them off!
PS: you can actually whiplash the SRS cannonball and parry it back at the enemy.
Also try parrying projectiles more especially the green homing ones because they reheal you!..
One last thing theres a guide in the enemy description found in terminals it tells you the mechanics of how to deal with each foe!..

While I'm also not as keen on Earthmover as a boss (timed levels, eurgh), I can still agree the concept is cool - the animation done by Ichellor of V1 vs the Earthmover is one of my favourite Ultrakill fan creations (alongside their Greed V2 fight one)!
The timer is meant to more be a setpiece with how absurdly long it is anyway
are you gonna try the secret levels? there’s one for each layer including prelude and they’re not too hard to get to (doesn’t require p ranks or anything)

is it too late to tell you that you can equip multiple variants and use the numbers on the side of them on the terminal to change the scroll order? also what’s been your favourite layer so far
He knows. He purposefully unequipped variants he wasn't using to make it easier to swap weapons

Fun but useless fact: the Earthmover counts as an enemy for the purposes of the "Kill All Enemies" cheat option.
