0:29 - If you applied the scale before beveling the bevels wouldn't be stretched. Check the bevel from the front orthographic view. Anyhow it was a great video and the textures are very clean.
For anyone that's watching and confused about how they made the extrusion at 2:14 You select the circle and then press e. After pressing e you then press s and that will allow you to create that circle thingy
This helped a lot, thanks. I managed to make inner speaker spheres using extrude/scale to center, added some ring loop cuts and moved the center vertex out using proportional editing set to sphere. Hope that helps you.
1:46 you could make a loopcut vertically through the middle of the base mesh before applying the difference booleans to create a guide edge for the boolean. The shading issues on the grid patterns of the speaker part visible most clearly at 6:41 could be fixed with this. I'm talking about the edges that appear on 1:56, two edges are formed asymmetrically poorly bridging the cylindrical boolean and the outer vertex.
Hello When you extrude the speaker circle, it goes to the center of the circle. When I do it, it stretches the circle towards the sides. How do you keep it in the circle? at 2:14
Sorry that texture was deleted on the source website, we can fix this using height map open height map in photoshop and increase exposure until there is only black and white then use that as alpha this will work ✌️❤️
Sorry for the delay, try to select the objects you want to merge by holding shift and pressing ctrl + J, if that doesn't work, try resetting the keymap to blender | edit -> Preferences -> Keymap -> Drop down Blender. Thanks

select the circle you're trying to extrude from, shift+s and cursor to selection and extrude.
