Anyone just feel deflated by this season? There was no celebration. No closure. It all felt so hollow, rushed, superficial and I don't think majority of these housemates will interact ever again. They can't even pretend to look happy for one another. Tone of the show was just dark. The entire next season needs a switch up majorly. BB casting someone of Palestinian heritage and censoring the watermelon from Alis T shirt is a perfect metaphor of this season. Confused. Hypocritical. Performative. Lacking substance and direction.
the producers were twisting the narrative as well, giving people bad edits when they wanted them out, showing scenes of housemates that align with their own storylines with no room for nuance, heavily favouring marcello (letter writing task, playing his song??) , leaving out thomas, everything just feels so contrived as if are things going on behind the scenes that us viewers don't know about. The last late & live was painful.
The producers saw the criticism last year that it was too tame and not enough drama, so then they went too far into the other direction and made it too dark.
It was *such* a disappointment! There was a real lack of authenticity - especially in their use of corny music to try to amp up the emotion of the scene. So unnecessary! We want realness! I wish they'd go back to the early Channel 4 way of doing things, and not try to tell the audience how to feel at any given moment. Give us some credit!
Khaled, Ali and lily seemed like the realest ones on the show tbh, lily and khaled even said they were probably gonna hangout after the show in their eviction interviews, same w lily and Ali
Nathan and housemates like him toss me off, absolutely the biggest gameplayer this show has had. Planting seeds to the viewers about folk and they eat it up. Daze should have dragged him harder. Tory weirdo. Sarah/Martha sucked too, Marcello as well.
Probably the only season where I've seen them kick off and have drama on their final day. By then usually everyones getting along. Shows how much they didn't really like each other.
“Celebrity Big Brother” is set to return in 2025 after a hiatus. Following the conclusion of the 2024 series, there are indications that this next installment will bring more drama and celebrity personalities to the infamous house . As for “The Voice UK,” season 13 is also on the horizon, promising fresh talent and notable judges. Ali Bromley and Ava Manning’s participation hasn’t been confirmed yet, but they are rising stars in the UK music scene, which may lead to their inclusion in such competitions . Keep an eye on official announcements for more details as these shows prepare for their upcoming seasons!
the way housemates who actually voiced their opinions like Daze and Dean were evicted early while Khaled, Segun and Thomas lasted is proof that in Big Brother if you join up with enough people and all co-ordinate your nominations, you can get to the end without actually doing anything notable to the viewers.
@@felixblue5251 every year this fandom falls for the "good, nice, normal" bull crap when they are the biggest players ever. They vote out the ones who make things interesting then complain the show is boring

Nothing will beat the old original series’. I used to like that you’d get a whole array of ages in the old shows. These new series’ seem to have loads of contestants the same age and like one ‘older’ contestant, one with a disability. It’s just… not ‘real’ like it used to be if that makes sense.
@BarryBobbins That's spot on. There should've been a way broader age range, for starters. The editing overall felt way too contrived as well. I wish they'd go back to Channel 4 style basics 😢
Marcello and Khaled going off about being called “fake” when we now know both of them didn’t audition and were planted by their agencies is HILARIOUS in hindsight. Ali was really right all along.
Ali was and is full of shit, she was right about nothing. Housemates being recruited has been a thing since the very beginning, it doesn’t make somebody fake. Khalid literally admitted to never seeing the show before
How the fuck people like Marcello, Nathan and Sarah lasted longer than Daze, Dean or Khaled I'll never know. I'm so happy Ali won, she was authentic even when it cost her alliances within the house, and was being bullied by some of "the core" to a disgusting degree, she deserved it 10000%.
@@xxshannen1xx If anything neither was she bullied or was he bullied. People throw that word around too much, just because they had conflict doesnt mean shes bullying him? They apologized a week later.

Well, they all receive media training before moving in, so producers - following the rules of our snowflake society - put a lot of restrictions onto them in terms of how to act, what to say, how to come across, how to be perceived etc.
WOW that was quick I haven't even finished this series yet all I know is that the Red Witch won I'm gonna finish the series before I watch this video and during the episodes I did watch I knew this video would be longer than last years.
Here's something that will really piss people off, but Marcello was far nicer than Ali and the accusations against him were way more inflated from people who wanted to see him as a bad guy and refused to show any nuance because all they see is almost a cartoon character of what they wanted to see. Marcello spoke highly of his friends, cooked and cleaned for everyone, had a laugh during some of the trials, actually had funny and entertaining moments. But I felt like every word he said had to be looked at with a magnifying glass and people made assumptions on the subtext of the stuff he said, without taking a step back, to see the big picture. Ali on the other hand was just cold and downright mean. Marcello had disagreements with people, sure, but those all ended in about 10 minutes and that was the end. Ali quite viciously targeted Khalid at the beginning for daring to apologise to people for not inviting them to a party. Then she went on to say how he's playing up to the cameras and every time she was confronted about it, she would basically ignore what Khalid was saying and declare herself correct or in Marcello's case, cry that he was trying to isolate her because he wanted to have a chat without other people being there. And finally, Marcello fairly often said nice things about Ali, he said he liked her personality, he liked how outspoken she was (no, this is NOT contradicted by him saying he was uncomfortable being fully open with her as much as people want it to be), wrote that nice fan letter for her AND fought for her to get her message from home when Hanah was rightfully gonna give her nothing because she already had a word from home (I've not seen one person compliment Marcello for that). What nice things did Ali say about him? If anything. Other than condescending little comments about toxic masculinity and "Wow Marcello, you've really grown", like he's a dog or something. The fact is Ali won because she wasn't Marcello. People got themselves so worked up by being part of this echochamber of how terrible he was without giving any examples, that they gaslighted themselves into thinking Ali was so good and blinded themselves to all of her terrible behaviours.
Really awful series. Too over-produced, and the Love Island-style music when there was drama was too much. Apparently, we missed out on lots of action (according to the housemates, there was tons that didn't make it). The whole thing felt really...manipulated. I dearly wish they'd go *really* back to basics with BB. I mean, year 2000 style. A proper social experiment! No fake drama, allow the quieter characters time to come out of their shell, 24-hour live stream. Show us their day from morning to night. No big contrived "twists". I'd love it!
I liked this season but what I didn't like is how all the worst people made it so far, the cop outs, the bitching about each other yet never saying it to their face & the cliques.
Right, so here’s my two pence on this season of Big Brother: Khaled and Hannah were the real stars of the show, full stop. Khaled was everything you want in a winner-polite, thoughtful, charming, and let’s not forget he’s our Palestinian brother. He carried himself with dignity, despite everything his family and country have been through. Proper legend. Hannah? Absolute queen. She carried the whole bloody show on her back. Funny, real, and fearless. She said it how it was, didn’t care whose feathers got ruffled, and we loved her for it. A proper laugh every time she was on screen. Now for the ones I didn’t like-and oh, there’s a list. Ali, the winner? What a joke. Proper snake vibes. Mind games galore, overanalyzing everyone else while ignoring her own mess. And calling Khaled fake? Nah, love, you and your little clique invented fake. Nathan was the worst though-racist, annoying, and that ‘relationship’ with Baked Potato? Pure storyline for the cameras. Biggest loser of the season, hands down. And Lily? Oh my days, don’t get me started. So fake her own mates on the show admitted it. Pretending to be this innocent little thing while throwing digs left, right, and centre. Saying Khaled was fake? Pot, meet kettle. Marta? Absolute nightmare. Tried it with Hannah, chatting rubbish about her on camera, then pretending to ‘respect’ her to her face. Honestly, if fake had a dictionary entry, her photo would be right there. Marcello? I had high hopes, but the minute he chose Tom over Khaled, he lost me. You don’t do that to your mate, not on national telly. Khaled deserved better. Oh, and can we talk about the producers for a sec? Ali’s watermelon t-shirt showing solidarity with Palestine-deleted. Khaled being booted out? Feels like more producer meddling than public voting. This show is as fake as Ali’s friendships. Honestly, Hannah should’ve won, and I won’t be wasting my time on Big Brother again. The show’s a fix. Cheers.
You can agree with and even admire Khaled’s bravery / political stance, whilst also acknowledging he was a bit cringe and was likely evicted because he wasn’t entertaining to watch.
