I have a set of toyota's that came with mine when I bought it. I started the process of swapping mine over by purchasing all the parts I would need to swap it, when I realized it was twice the price to go toyotas than it was to truss my samurai housing and throw some RCV's in it. I may still do it some day but so far I haven't broken anything on 35's
You’re not wrong lol. I went the Toyota route based on testimonies of people who built their Sami axles and said they wished they had just went ahead bit the bullet and swapped the Toyotas in. I figured if I’m going to spend money I minus well do it once even if it maybe a little more initially.
@@Drewsoffroadgarage It really depends on your intended use, if you’re bouncing off rocks it makes sense to upgrade. Mines more of a daily driver with a little back country cruising sprinkled in. Believe it or not we don’t have many rocks in Alaska to crawl 🤷🏻♂️🤣
What perfect timing. I'm literally in the same stage as you. I'm in the middle of rebuilding knuckles and have a heeeeeap of parts in the corner. I'm not doing a yj swap kit. I'm going to fab all my hangers to get some stretch. So fun and expensive, lol.

@@CTMadModz yeah I get that. My samurai is basically just an off-road toy. I tow it to and from the trails and I do a lot of rocks
Always great with an update
