I sort by whites, delicates, blankets, towels, my daughter’s clothes since she has to have baby detergent, and then regular texture like jeans tshirts. Normally cost $20 to wash and dry each visit but I do like that I can wash them all at the same time

Thank you for the video. I have a bit of anxiety going to the laundry mat. It’s always so full of people and I don’t do great in crowds. Listening to this helped me stay focused and motivated to go.
I thought 6 loads were a lot! I love laundry actually though, I just hate having to bring it up and down the steps and to the laundromat instead of having a washer dryer in unit so I could multitask and save time
I’ve had to do that. I had 27 kitchen bags of laundry and I hadn’t even done linens yet. My husband and I contemplated going to a laundry mat to get it all done. The worst is folding and putting away. So we decided to just do one bag at a time, wash fold put away so we don’t fall behind again
The washing and folding part gets me too! But you were thinking smart for sure! I hope you were able to get them done! Even the cycle feels never ending.
Hey! I don't have choldren, so I don't have as much laundry, but I was feeling the stress of doing laundry every day. And I think you stated you have a paper towel'free house. So my husband and I. I don't know what your normal routine is, but I just started batching my laundry, ad it boils down to about 2 loads a day over a 4 day period, excluding the emergency laundry (the towels and rags we use instead of paper towels). With emergency laundry, it can vary as to how frequently it gets done (as needed). Woth as much launry as you have, you might still have to divide up your categories over all 7 days per week, but having only certain categories per day, is a game changer for me, because it takes the guess work out of which loads to do each day. And it also makes me think harder about how many times I can actually wear each item of clothing before it can get washed. Some clothes really can be worn more than once, shile others need to be washed after each wear. Dana K. White is a youtuber who has a couple of really good videos about laundryand laundry day. Everyone commenting do your laundry daily or twice a week….I have been battling depression and with two kids and a husband I have so much laundry that has just piled up everywhere doing laundry all the time isn’t easy for everyone
Thanks for sharing that Destinee. I was recently watching a Ted Talk on a woman who was talking about her laundry while depressed and she made some really really good points. She mentioned having a perfectly folded laundry doesn't make you a good mom and having a sky high pile of dirty laundry laundry doesn't make you a bad mom either. Give yourself grace and compassion 💜.
I understand, laundry has never been my thing but I have learned to control it by doing 1 or 2 loads a week. Also, I don’t bother folding every single piece of clothing, I hang most of them and small items like underwear and socks I don’t fold them, I just throw them in a drawer. 😅
Oh gosh..what amount of laundry... I've never seen. If im there I'd look after ur cloths. I love laundry! ❤ u spent a lot of money.😮 I was raised in Poland and we dont have this kind of public laundromat ...people have washing machines at home...and machines in Europe r a little different-- u choose temperature and machine heat up water. U can even choose almost boiling water 90°C(194F) ...usually people use 30C 40C 60C (86F, 104 F, 140°F) ..there r also special programs for wool, delicate, sometimes sport cloths. I'd advice for white use washing powder for white which often contains oxygen bleach, for color cloths use detetgents for Colors .They often contain ingredients protecting colors to fade. Often people dont have tumble dryer.
I wash clothes every sunday. I do not have a lot to wash because I keep certain amount of clothes, towels rags, sheet sets. You have to stay up on laundry
@@createwithkim7 yes! It makes this much easier! You did the right thing by taking all the clothes to the Laundromat. By you having small children and a husband I would wash clothes 2x or 3x a week set your days. All 3 of my kids are grown but that is what I did when they were little.
It must be expensive. I have only semi-auto mini washing machine and dry all the clothes under the sun. I washed 3 times a week. Thats the best I can do to save money.
I watched in a frenzy waiting to see what folding would look like but you did it was such ease. You go girl. Question? If you don’t mind sharing why did you decide to use one new towel everyday? Paper towel has it's pros but i was over doing it lol. But thats wesome! A rag goes a long way throughout the day. As for the towels...It was just a personal choice. My husband is a germophobe! He's very particular about the way he does things lol. So changing the towels daily was his idea and I was like... "Sure, Why not". The bacteria from our bodies goes on the towel and grows the longer the towel sits, so he just doesnt like the thought of it.
hey i do laundry every day. at least 1 to 2 loads per day. you could buy a portable washer and dryer if u dont have a connection for a laundy. u will save so much money on using the laundrymat.
The most important part of my laundry loads is the smell good part! Ill dump a whole bottle of suavitel and I put the detergent in the actual washer right after the clothes when nobody is looking LOL
I came in first thing in morning recently and it just had opened And all the big washer was taken. There hadn’t been enough time for a full load and the lady that worked there had all of them running for customers drop off, pick up service so I had to wait for one to open. But we all have laundry to do so we just got to be little more paitence
Oh wow, that's probably the best time to go I would think. Of course surprises happen and I agree, it's definitely requires some patience! I hope you were able to get some loads out of the way. I'm way overdue for laundry lol.

What's funny is you shared a very personal video and it helped many people by being vulnerable, including myself who had to suddenly flee an extremely abusive relationship with 4 small children meaning laundry was the least of my issues, however there's many ugly judgemental people in the world and it so unfortunate how they think there better than you or myself because there laundry doesn't ever get behind.God sees all and he will be the first to humble them really quickly, drastically and unfortunately painfully. I see your most likely a woman of God who was able to respond with such grace, class and dignity! There is such thing as huge families, families who travel, families who prioritize family and happiness over chores, there is such thing with people who are I'll or disabled, there is such thing as depression and anxiety, there is such thing as being a controlling perfectionists with a compulsive disorder, there is such thing as being an adult on your own for the first time and learning, there is such thing as working full time and being a single parent, there is such thing as suddenly falling I'll. No leakage. I would love to gift you one if you want. Mine is from thinx. My treat.
Hey! It's just a preference. We use to change them 1x every week. But we also used the towels to wipe our hands so just to avoid build up with all our uses. But now we have actual hand rags.
If i would wash everything in our home (Wool, sheets, comforters, blanket, curtains, towels, cleaning clothes, clothing) i can wash i wil do 20 loads of laundry, in my 5 kilo washing machine. 11 or 12 loads in a 10 kilo machine. Also the laundromats here are used by people for.. overalls worn on the farm (cowspoop, hairs, porkpoop and chickenpoop) dogblankets and horseblankets. I would not ever in my LIFE wash anything there. Their 8 kilo machine Costs 5 dollar and there is no dryers...

@@createwithkim7 we do name them - they are Mama, Starla, Miss Beaker, Honey & Bunny. I keep the laundry sorted so all I have to do is throw it in the machine while the coffee makes. I miss a lot of stains and stuff in people’s pockets though because of not being awake. So there’s a drawback haha.
@@mrmrsaofbarredowlcabin405I'm loving their names lol. Im just going to dedicate a whole day to laundry one day lol.
Lol. I'm all for making laundry less stressful too! Sometimes I don't fold my clothes either lol. I've gotten better at managing though!
Laundry is the only thing that will patently wait. I have a mountain of laundry to do..
Oh gosh..what amount of laundry... I've never seen. If im there I'd look after ur cloths. I love laundry! ❤ u spent a lot of money.😮
I was raised in Poland and we dont have this kind of public laundromat ...people have washing machines at home...and machines in Europe r a little different-- u choose temperature and machine heat up water.
Go! Go! goooooo!!
Yes!! That's the support I need on laundry days lol. Thank you!
I wash clothes every sunday. I do not have a lot to wash because I keep certain amount of clothes, towels rags, sheet sets. You have to stay up on laundry
You have a set day, I like that!! Yeah I think having a routine really helps!
Gurl, when you plopped 3 weeks later on the screen I hollered…😂💓
I also stopped using paper towels. I’m so there with you in showing love and respect to Mother Earth.
Great video.
@@createwithkim7 I kind of figured that…about the towel. My husband gets cringy about that as well. He has his own stack of towels and wash clothes…🥴😄
@@matriarchsmatter 😂 oh he's on another level! Your husband is not playing around.
@@createwithkim7 🤣🤣🤣
hey i do laundry every day. at least 1 to 2 loads per day. you could buy a portable washer and dryer if u dont have a connection for a laundy. u will save so much money on using the laundrymat.
Hey Diana! 1-2 loads a day is my goal too. Im hoping when things calm down over here that I'll get back into the groove of things.
The most important part of my laundry loads is the smell good part! Ill dump a whole bottle of suavitel and I put the detergent in the actual washer right after the clothes when nobody is looking LOL
Lol! I've heard suavitel smells really good. Now I just want to buy a bottle and smell it out of curiosity lol.
I’m crying for you 😩
It currently looks like I did absolutly no laundry 😅. Why.
I came in first thing in morning recently and it just had opened
And all the big washer was taken.
I stink at laundry so ur not alone😂
😂. Sigh. We'll get better at it one of these days.
Omg I have like 5 full bags of laundry in am trying to do rn and still procrastinating
😅 i think thats how I ended up just going to the laundromat. But I beleieve in you! Even if just one load gets into the washer and doesnt make it to the dryer....thats an accomplishment lol.
@@createwithkim7 I am literally prioritizing and getting my life in order. Thank you. Once I got stared I gain more motivation to keep going. Also seeing and FEELING the difference inclines me to keep going, and to tackle my table that is piled with mail and junk , however, I know where everything is. Thanks again💯💯...from NYC

This is real life not Heaven. Get real. Some people have some real nerve.
I'm happy you were able to get out of that environment. I hope you guys are adjusting well on this new journey as well as a healthy healing journey 💚. And I agree with every single word you wrote! There's always more to a story than what's shared, but unfortunately not everyone will think that way.
I used too do laundry in one day but now since I started my new job I washed once a week because I work 7 days out the week I do have off day but I have class and it's from my job and it mandatory to go to the class because they prepared too a permanent job i love job and I still do my best too washed my clothes and guy helps and my stepsister helps as well I love how you can do your laundry in one day I can't that I have busy schedule and I don't have any children it's just me my guy and my stepdaughter I have to washed my work clothes more often because I wear it every during the week
Hey Latoya! You are a busy lady! I hope you get some time for yourself throughout the week. I really like that the household helps because it really makes a difference. I hope you get that dream job!!!
@@createwithkim7 yes I will get it done I took off work today so I can get some laundry done today
I am definitely backed up with laundry so this is inspo. I’m not a fan of the laundromat tho😩
Yay! I hope you get some loads done! I go when I just want to get everything cleaned in one shot lol.
Girl 30 plus loads??? Geez I’m overwhelmed with 5 😂😂😂
LOL. I'll take the 5! I'm a mess with laundry. smh.
you certainly found yourself a nice coin laundry to go to
I really like that It's never busy in there. But they sure know what they're doing when it comes making money....those laundry prices are crazy lol.
@@createwithkim7 oh wow
😊😊😊😊❤
Pov: you have to wash all the laundry from a family of five and do it in one night before an inspection
👏👏👏👏👍
Thank you lol. I need that 😅
Thanks Oaks integrated Herbal Care©
Ok, so private question...how are you liking the period panties? I have been pondering those for awhile but do not know anyone that uses them!
I really like it! I wear it towards the end of my cycle or overnight. I think the only con is that it's not like changing a pad...you have to take off a whole underwear in the middle of the day lol... That's why I prefer to do overnights. It's very comfortable. No leakage. I would love to gift you one if you want. Mine is from thinx. My treat.
@@createwithkim7 oh my gosh, you are too kind! That is the brand I was looking too.
They have a lot of nice options. I have the boy shorts. Email me and I'll gift 1 over: Ttbrisco9@gmail.com
@@createwithkim7 You have such a beautiful soul! Thank you for being you and for sharing your life and family with us.
Awe ☺ thank you!
Why do you want to use a different towel every day?
Hey! It's just a preference. We use to change them 1x every week. But we also used the towels to wipe our hands so just to avoid build up with all our uses. But now we have actual hand rags.
$60 in quarters. My kids would have eased their way into getting some for snacks and toy vending machines smh.
Lol. It wouldn't be a real laundromat experience if they didn't 😅.
I can’t imagine how much that’s cost at the laundry mat lol
😂 way too much!
@@createwithkim7 our pipes froze last week I spent $40 washing and drying 4 loads and snacks and drinks for the kids of course lol
@@michellesicble1440 oh nooo. I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope it's all fixed now. $40 add up over time lol.
Por que usan una toalla de baño diferente cada dia😮??
I think it's a mental thing. It makes me feel cleaner lol. But when I travel I use the same towel for a couple of days.
@@createwithkim7 thanks 🥰🩷
Unless you have a family of 12,you have too much stuff if you had 34 loads of laundry. Seriously
60$ geeee lol
Sigh 😒. I try not to think about it lol!
20 loads is pretty amazing!! So laundromat are for heavy duty uses. What country are you in?
@@createwithkim7 the Netherlands.
They were intended for normal use.. but now they are so gross.. normal people do not go there anymore.
@@pppetra yeah I wouldn't use them either lol.

Nope no bad order. Thanks for watching Janice 😊. Love your name by the way, it's my sister's name too.
do at minimum 1 load per day
Que consumistas!!!!! Horrible , no es necesario tanta ropa. Ni acumular tanta ropa sucia. Me parece lo peor
We're a family of 4. It happens. Every household looks differently, just sharing mine 😊
DIRTY CLOTHES SMELL
WHY KEEP DIRTY CLOTHES FOR WEEKS🤔
I CANT STAND DIRTY BATHROOMS & PILED UP DIRTY CLOTHES
