I’ll occasionally look up videos of the Ikarie, and oftentimes this auto plays afterwards. I always let it, if I have enough time, because it makes my day to not only hear your glorious accent say “filtruh”, but also because it’s a great reminder of how much work and care you put into everything.
Can’t wait to pick up an Ikarie of my own!
I love how at 10:46, YT’s closed captioning algorithm thought the filter was saying wow 😂
I finally got this filter after so many people suggested it. The video manual is great, and this video of patch tips is super inspiring. I also could listen to you say the word "filter" all day. Thanks!
Thank you for nice comment ❤️❤️❤️
It's been a while since I've been interested in a new filter. Well done
I just love "filtrah" :) These are amazing videos for a module I've just bought and strive to understand.
Awesome, thanks for sharing.
Jak się masz! This is great day for Kazakhstan!🇰🇿
Great module!
i love mine & so much functions,
big respect to your work!
and the 2 videos are super helpful as manual
This sounds super rad. Very drippy sounding with the resonance up.
i think ikarie and filter 8 are 2 of the best filters in the market as we speak. so much potential
Very nice...
It sounds juicy, definitely going to add this to the rack 😋
Love my filtruh ❤
This filter is so good.
thanks! WE this so too!
the Ikarie looks like a really cool filter
it is!
Sounds friggin awesome, I must say! Also, great that you have made with a black panel. Any chance you will make/sell black panels for older modules? I have a Tromsø and a 1983, which I love, and it'd be so awesome to have them visually fit in my mostly black paneled rig.
I'm very much enjoying this filter so far. I only got it yesterday. Very cool design and it can sound hairy as fuck, if you know what I mean. I was looking for something with character and I found it, AND it's stereo. Top drawer.
build quality?
@@PercivalThe23 Is awesome.
Wow.
I'm about to replace Popple with this. Detroit Modular was the only place I found that had it.
Thank you for your support!
@@bastlinstruments It just arrived, and that thing will be WAYYyyyy more useful than Popple. It's a Swiss arm knife by comparison. I grant you that people have various preferences on how filters sound. But from a feature perspective this thing has massive bang for buck. And looks and feels very high quality as well.
@@mntbighker I believe Ikarie is an amazing filter with many not so hidden possibilities ready to be explored!

21:13 he says its 12db/oct, but if you put in series it gets steeper, "which would be 12db/oct." Does he mean 12 becomes 24? Or, it's normally 6db and series makes it 12db?
Edit: NM, he says 24 db later.
Can it be act as a resonant lowpass gate
I don't have this module at the moment, but I think it can for sure act as a 12dB (or 24dB) resonant Low Pass Gate. You'll need to mult your envelope signal into two signals for two destinations. Send one of your envelope signal's mults to the Mod input, set the mod input control by ear so that your max or sustain level is keeping the low pass filter wide open & not creeping into the high pass filter's territory. & Then send your envelope's second mult to the VCA input.
Manual isn't working for me
manual does not work still as of 11/16
The manual is up as of yesterday.
