I'm a 30 years old Army from Europe. Met BTS in 2019 when I was in a very dark place. They literally helped me out of depression. With their music, with their messages, with the bond that is created with them and with Army. It is undeniable and difficult to understand but the relationship between BTS and the Army goes further
I'm 50 yrs old and I'm a BTS ARMY since 2017 DNA era. I became a fan because of their music and the 7 talented young men. I feel home and comforted when I listened to them. They're very humble and don't forget funny guys!
been with bts since 2013. from a teenage girl in school, now working as an adult they really have a special place in my heart because no matter how long I am on a hiatus for being an army for a while, I keep coming back and still run to them to seek comfort. THEY’RE THE MOST HUMBLEST PEOPLE I KNOW!! I know this may sound cringey but I think BTS is the universe’s gift to us, because the bond and connection they and we have is truly amazing! there’s even a saying in the borahouse that “you find bts when you need them the most” 💜
This guide is more about BTS as a group, if you want to know about every member personally you should watch A guide to Bangtan 7. But still thanks for reacting to this one as well
Thank you guys for this reaction. We do get so protective of them sometimes. To me BTS is the biggest underdog story of all time. From a small company in a non-English speaking nation, they conquered the world and made their mark. I am a proud 42-year old Army. I hope you can react to Taylor’s A Guide to BTS Members. Thanks in advance. 💜💜💜
So true ARMY is so protective of BTS. Not only are they the biggest underdog story of all time. But their hard work, extreme talent, creativity, deep meaningful lyrical content, strong genuine love & connection with ARMY (and the power of ARMY behind them on a massive global scale) are nothing short of impressive.
I enjoyed your hindsight perspectives. 12-15 hr days in the dance room and going days without sleep on projects while letting us see the reality is part of the reasons for their success.
I am age 71 yrs and I have been a fan for 5 years. I wish there has been a group like BTS when I was younger. I could have used someone telling me that I am fine just the way I am and that it is not wrong to love myself first! Best Wishes from Kentucky.
I know there will be a lot more comments on this, but I'll say this anyway. I've been growing up with BTS for several years, watching them as a break from my studies, listening to their comforting words when I've been sad, even playing their music during my graduation celebration and now I'm in my second year of college happily still on this journey with them. ARMY here through and through. Having said that, thank you for this video and for understanding our protectiveness of them. It's alright if you had some pre-conceived beliefs about them/made a few off comments before, I'm just glad to see you all taking the time to know them and their story because it's a beautiful one, I swear. They've made an impact and saved a lot of people, including myself. So again, thanks. Thanks for giving our boys a chance. A good FOLLOW UP video for what you just watched is A Guide to BTS Members: The Bangtan 7 by Taylor. It sounds the same but it's a different video. Hope you check it out :))
when you really enter BTS's life sincerely and understand all their hard work which maybe not everyone will be able to face, believe me you will get a lot of love from us the army and you will get a lot of support from us
Thank you for the reaction! ARMYs are very protective yes and that's because the boys have been underestimated, underrated, mistreated, disrespected and ignored way too many times when all they do is work hard, stay humble, spread positivity, inspire people and heal people's wounds. Whenever someone says something negative about them or assumes something, I just get triggered I can't help it. Thank you for taking the time to listen to their story and like others said: looking into the stories of the members individually is worth it.
I am 46 yrs old and I’ve been with them since debut. We are protective of our guys because we’ve been through so much together. I’m glad for this reaction I hope you get to know more about our wonderful BTS. Borahae💜
If you guys want some tracks for your gym playlist you'll like "Not Today", "Ugh", "Fire", among many others. There is a fan video a lot of people will be telling you about, by Taylor which will give you more info about what makes each member special. But one thing it doesn't tell you is that RM is the foundation of the group, the CEO got to know him and realized the world needs to hear his music. All of the other members contribute to the group in meaningful ways but the bond they have together is really the heart of the group. There was a recent video I saw, it showed that India, Japan and Mexico were countries within the top 5 that consumed BTS music the most. I can't remember the exact top 5 though.
I am from Mozambique; Africa and I can guarantee that there are so many African Armys here! Please react to the Taylor "guide to bts members: The bangtan 7" It is more updated and it talks more about the boys individually, yall will understand how they got together and who is who! Cant wait to see it !! BORAHAE!!
They got into Bighit company by audition/competition/casting. Bighit held audition nation-wide for 2years(2010-2012). There were over 30-40 trainee(potential member for bts) who wanted to debut but only 7 of them got picked for the final members. If you wanna know more about each members’ talent/role in the group or behind story, The guide to BTS members: the bangtan 7 by Taylor would help. BTW, I am Korean. Sorry for my broken English..💜Thanks for the video! 💜
If you guys wanted to know about how they met, how they got recruit, you should check out the introduction by Taylor "guide to bts members : the bangtan 7"
I'm 58 and UK army, I discovered BTS at the start of the pandemic and I can't express enough how much I admire and respect them. A rock music fan but when I saw someone reacting to BTS mic drop I had to know more. Lots of metal fans are also army due to BTS core values and messages. Also its worth noting that ARMY are now almost 1 billion strong and seeing videos like yours I know it is still growing. We are all ages, even army over 80. All nationalities, races, genders, sexualities. BTS welcome all. Above all they are very humble and have so much love for us that it really shows. Enjoy your trip down the BTS rabbit hole you will love it. Please react to excelestes video who is the BTS ARMY. You will understand more about this amazing fan base. Excelestes video of their Hardships actually broke my heart, they were so badly mistreated it was a crime. Army watch all these sorts of reactions and always respect those that respect our boys. Some even send gifts to show appreciation. Much love
When the guy wearing blue shirt with a black cap started to say something about how he didn't know that BTS came from small things, I got goosebumps 😊😊💜 I feel hpw shocked he is😊
they sell out stadiums everywhere, here in brazil, for example, they sold out 2 nights at the allianz parque in 2019 and they performed for 40/45.000 fans per night; they sold out 4 nights at the sofi stadium in LA this year, selling approximately 214.000 tickets; they had a free concert on south korea last month and performed for 100k fans, this concert was broadcasted worldwide and one of the official lives had +49 MILLION people... they're one of the few artists who were able to sell out the wembley stadium in london, they're huge and have fans everywhere
Thank you so much for being so open minded. BTS has literally saved lives with their music, sincerity and words of comfort from their VLIVEs (now Weverse LIVE). For a deeper dive in how they were created and their musical journey check out The Story of BTS (2022 update) by the Rice Squad. For more details about each member’s backstory and personality and the order of joining the group check out A guide to BTS Members the Bangtan 7 by Taylor. Also the Rise of Bangtan series is amazingly produced by an ARMY and really goes into further detail about the industry, and special BTS moments throughout their rise from their debut to the Kings they are now. A MUST see!
Thanks for this reaction. This is why armys are so protective of them. It's not easy to find love and happiness. Doesn't matter where it comes from, when you have it you protect it whatever the cost. One little thing to add. Whenever you react to BTS songs, watch an explanation video immediately after, it will help a lot. Their songs are really deep, we don't usually get it after watching the first time
They have been together since 2010....they debut in 2013. Also, Jungkook was only 13 years old when they started out. He was born in 1997 and they started their training in 2010. He was a baby....the others took great care of him through it all. ♥️♥️♥️
I think it's easy to misjudge them when you don't know anything about them. It's totally okay to do that, it's a human reaction to judge things. Just keep learning more about them. I suggest that you guys watch a video that's called A Guide to BTS Members: The Bangtan 7 by Taylor, it details each member and how they came together to form what we all know as BTS. It's probably the best video for you guys, it's so well done. You'll get to know them individually and how they each are as people and artists.
I never had a teenage band crush, I seem to have saved it for my 40s. Fell down the rabbit hole last year, and just find these guys to be such a delight. 46-year-old Norwegian fan here. :D
Hello guys! I am 45 years old. and I'm a proud Army! I lost my husband this year, but these wonderful guys are helping me recover from my tragedy! There's no way I can't help but smile when I watch and listen to them. I'm glad you responded to this! Love yourself!💜💜💜✌️🙏
I highly recommend A Guide to BTS Members: the Bangtan 7 by Taylor. It gives you the back story of the individual members and how they were brought together. Additionally there is a great docu series on UA-cam called The Rise of Bangtan, put together by a fan in California with the help of fans from around the world. It is very professionally done and it goes into great detail about BTS and also gives you context, giving background on the K-Pop industry, the Korean education system and more, It's not something you can do in one sitting as there are 21 chapters, each approximates 20 - 30 minutes long, but it's a great watch over a period of time.
53 yo army here. fun fact - along with their generosity, humbleness, strong work ethic, close bond (which is lovely to see), thought provoking lyrics, amazing showmanship, and fantastic come up story - they also make top notch music! this is a band that not only do you want to watch, you actually want to listen to. this is why army do not consider their music "idol music". most idol music (what you probably think of as "kpop") is watched more than it is listened to, i.e., their fans watch their videos, but hardly consume their music outside of the visual (go check the numbers if you don't believe me). while bts is fabulous to watch as well, us fans tend to be hardcore music lovers, and that's why you see a large older fan base, who have been into bands and music for decades, really appreciate this group of talented individuals. also, fwiw, i've been to 9 bts stadium shows - teens and younger are definitely the minority.
I’m 54 and I’ve been ARMY since 2016. I introduced BTS to my daughter and she became a fan in 2018. She was 20 then. BTS got me through Chemo and some pretty dark times. Music heals.💜
Hi guys..! I'm glad many people are getting knowing BTS, not only listen to their music but also watching the introduction. I'm 54, my daughter introduced them to me in 2017, we've been being ARMY since then. I'll wait for more your reactions to BTS.. regards fr Indonesia.
If you want to learn even more react to A Guide to BTS Members: The Bangtan 7 by Taylor and "The rise of Bangtan" shows their journey from the beginning.
30 year old Canadian here!! Hello! As other armies have said Taylor's guide is great for each member. Also I will mention the Rise of Bangtan it's created by a professional army editor and goes through their journey eyes from debut to recent in chapters. It's a deep dive so it goes into the kpop culture as well and the Korean culture and starts from the very beginning of pre debut. Each chapter is about 20 minutes long or a bit longer. You get to know their start, their work ethic and who they are individually as well along with their music. There is also deleted scenes and bonus content also. The most beautiful moment in life a story if bts the most updated version is a documentary that goes into their musical journey eyes from beginning to recent as well and I would say their hardships is worth watching but prepared to get angry lol. To learn more about their fanbase I suggest this is BTS army by xceleste. This goes more in depth into the fan base too.
That's really a wholesome reaction. There still so much to know, this video is upto 2020, there much more content from 2021-2022 eg: going to White House meeting with the President Biden, speaking about racism faced by Asian in the UN.. I am so blessed that i am an army.. I love them not only because of there talent but also for how they are personally as humans. 🇮🇳💜
i would describe the protectiveness of armys over bts like this - imagine you had a person in your life who is just genuinely good through and through, helps out and is sweet to everyone, never creates trouble. and you wish nothing but the best for them. then, all of a sudden, people get salty about their existence for no reason and spread unfounded rumours and shit talk them for literally no reason. you'd be triggered, no? especially if they mean a lot to you. that's kinda how we feel; though they obviously aren't directly in our lives, their work has still impacted us all and it's just really triggering and shitty when people have these weird and hateful preconceived notions of such good people who don't deserve that treatment. i wish more people just understood that, instead of being even more hateful because they find us getting triggered funny or stupid. so yeah.
Beautiful reaction and conversation! We also have similar discussions just like you....BTS/Army are truly inspiring....pushes us to really make changes, persevere, etc to make a difference in our lives and those we come in contact with. Cnt wait to see more!
The best way to get to know BTS is by watching, Guide to BTS members Bangtan 7 by Taylor N. But the best of the best is The Rise of Bangtan, a series of chapters that make up the best-made documentary about the history of BTS since its inception. Believe me, you won't regret it.
Wait until you find out they have some of the best workout music: Ugh, Not Today, Ddaeng, ON, Cypher 2-4, the list goes on and on. If you want a small snapshot of their global reach, they just did a free concert last month in Korea. There were 50,000 seats that sold out in 15 minutes with 300,000 people still in queue trying to get a ticket. They had an overflow viewing of another 12,000 people, and 50 million people watching the concert online globally. You can watch "A Guide to BTS Members: The Bangtan 7" by Taylor. It gives more info on each member in how they came together and just what Bang PD saw in each member to know it would work. They are all working on individual releases and albums right now, and are all preparing to enter the military (Jin is first to go), with a goal to all reunite in 2025. They have mentioned many times that they always see themselves as BTS and are looking forward to making music together for a very long time. Thank you for watching this and you are right, many make their own notions about who they are as artists. Glad that this video gave you perspective and you see why Army fights so hard for them.
Eu tenho 43 anos e sou army com muito orgulho. BTS mudou minha vida e me fez enxergar a vida sobre outro aspecto. Amo cada membro desse grupo. 🙋🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Thanks for reaction, 2 of my fave BTS documentaries are Taylor's guide to BTS, its pretty current up to May 2022 and goes into each individual member, i think this will help u guys know each member, and I think you guys will also like the Rise of Bangtan series with deleted scenes and bonus content, this chronicles BTS journey from predebut, and vlogs and tons of behind the scene clips -- BTS music and lyrics are inspiring to many, whenever i feel like i can't do something, i think back to BTS journey and it helps me to persevere, i even heard of other Army's testimonials saying BTS save their lives, people in deep depression, even one that was on the verge of suicide-- its difficult to explain but BTS lyrics heal people, helps people see through life with clarity, makes one search within themselves for answers. I look forward to the next video.
the rappers to expand their talent- by singing which adds another dimension to their performing RM is releasing his first album, I thought the 25th of this month, but He said on weverse today December 2nd. RM has two mixtapes and Mono his second mixtape release in 2018 has the most #1s in ITUNES HISTORY. It’s been number 1 in 123 countries and it’s still charting in 2022. The 123rd country was Venezuela this year.
I've been in the fandom since 2015. I found bts by mistake and it was the best mistake ever. They kept me company during those hard times, they still do, and they never failed to make me happy. I feel so happy and proud seeing how far they have come. Thank you for giving them a chance!! 💜💜💜
The most up to date guide that will tell you about each member is introduction to bts 2022 by Taylor there is also a documentary series called the rise of bangtan created by ARMY that is amazing. Military is mandatory for all males in korea and BTS will all need to go into the Military starting with the oldest member Jin by the end of this year. The rest of the members will be will most likely join next year and be back together by 2025 so they are working on solo projects right now. RM solo album should be out on 11/25
I can't wait for namjoon's "INDIGO" album!!! I've waited for so long since MONO in 2018😭 I know it'll be amazing! I just love bangtan's music so damn much!
First time at this channel. I’m glad you guys were more open minded about BTS. There are some things that each individual ARMY like myself feels for BTS that we can’t describe but at least you guys got to understand some of their up comings. I knew about BTS but never got to know them until I was in bed recovering from a car accident watching their funny yet humble moments. It was the best thing that ever happened to me. It was a healing moment for me filled with laughter. My 5 months of a traumatic experience recovering became one of my best memories in life. I haven’t gone through a day not watching or listening to or about BTS. If you watch Run BTS Episodes, you’ll get to know their fun side a lot better. Hope you guys will receive this part of happiness and humility from BTS. Just now Jin, the oldest member have posted on the WEVERSE app to communicate with ARMY. So bye now until next time I see another post of your reaction to BTS. Fighting! 😄 Borahae ARMY! 💜
They deserve to be famous Because they have suffered so much in their lives Especially at the time of their debut they were very young but they were getting a lot of hate They are just better And they're humble, lovable, and damn nice When you see them, you say that they are like ordinary people because of their modesty They always help people with everything, and their songs are filled with messages They are really for the best 💪🏻😎💜😭
Thank you for the reaction! I’m a 33 Army here and have been a fan for coming 4 years. My mom who is turning 61 is also an Army. I wished I was there with them from their debut year in 2013. I love each of them very much. They have beautiful personalities and characters. It was one of the songs of the members (Jin), his song ‘Epiphany’ was the first song I got introduce to BTS. The lyrics of this song was posted on one of my friend’s IG and the lyrics was so beautiful that I had to go check out the music myself. The song found me and BTS found me. And here I am, a forever BTS Army.💜
I don't know much English, so I use the translator... I love the fact that you can talk and be open about the video, BTS and ARMY, maybe as they said in their video....There is a certain connection between BTS and ARMY, I love that you can say that maybe at the beginning you judged how anyone would do it and that does not mean that it is wrong, that will always make us grow as people and with respect to how we see certain parts of the world, music and clearly human beings.... we are all here to grow and be able to be kind and respectful human beings with others, without having to harm third parties, thank you for opening your mind, heart and soul I send you many greetings from Mexico 🇲🇽💜✨
BTS promotes global community, tolerance and accepting everyone. Embrace the, " other," and learn new things about our world. So many people only needed a light to or leader to fly to. BTS has given those of us who care about our fellow man a way to join together without hate, or fear. Welcome to the family friends. ARMY is here for all of us.
To answer one of yalls question, yes they get a lot of support from their country but the support they get were bigger from countries outside their own specially during earlier years. One example would be when they got nominated for the Grammys. News outlets from Korea downplayed those nominations. Its frustrating that their own country arent as supportive. There was some researcher/speaker who talked about this. If I find the link to that clip Ill add it here.
Hi! I am a 68 yr. old Army and thank you guys so much for a very respectful reaction to BTS guide. I love how you were so attentive to the video and paused it when you had to discuss something. And yes Army can be so protective sometimes but through the years we are so attuned to reactors who are just here for the views i’m glad that you’re not and you do appreciate BTS therefore we Army appreciate you too by giving you the views. I remember one reactor who was so abusive towards BTS that he had thousands of dislikes than likes on his channel that i think youtube canceled him. Thank you again…Borahae!💜
for the newer fans of BTS the taylor intorduction is great and but suga and spice intro is more raw ! im so glad you watched an older introduction to them as the older 1s are more powerful x x celeste vid is a great way to start .......peace and purple luv from the uk also if you did the suga and spice introduction of the 7 members ....some of the newer fans would see it and realise the difference and struggles
Much respect and love for all of you guys. Not only did you sit and watch the entire introduction. But you had different discussions and each person shared their view. I appreciate you taking the time to watch this. You started your journey and started bringing your friends into it with a genuine open-minded approach. It goes to show how good your friends are. They were willing to try something new because of you. I wish I had that. I wish I had more people willing to sit down with me and try to understand why I obsess over them, and why I love them so much. That's the only thing I want out of life right now. You have amazing friends. Thank you again for showing your boys this. I wish you guys good luck in your endeavors. 💜
I arrived here on UA-cam's recommendation, and thank you for dedicating a few minutes of your lives for being interested in knowing a little about our boys' history. in the room where they were training and promised the boys that they would go far, and when Mr. Bang left the room they looked at each other and laughed, and said: "... Mr. Bang is desperate". Mr.Bang practically abandoned the other few artists he had in the company to dedicate himself fully to the seven boys. They have always worked hard since their debut, always chasing the result of the best performance and even today, with all this worldwide success they still dedicate themselves to the fans, they could just stop and live on income and success, as many artists out there do, they just release something new every year. But our boys are dedicated to the fans, and they are always grateful for us, that's why they always shout "ARMY" to make us proud to root for artists as genuine and sincere as they are. This break they entered was necessary, and also because they have to serve in the military, but in the ARMY we will always support them and will always be here for them , no matter how long it takes for the sevens to come together again.
I’m a 37 year old Polynesian lesbian who couldn’t love these boys anymore even if they were part of my own family. The 50-70 year old army are everywhere!!! It’s crazy when you really start to get traffic from army you will find how broad their message and music has always been. They’re so much more than people first believe… even you guys… a lot of the comments were a bit dismissive based on assumptions… which I let pass bc you didn’t know any better .. you didn’t understand how important that these guys are and why. I’m glad for you to see just a glimpse of what we mean. It hits different when you begin to understand it all.
You nailed it with we grew up with them. I watched them when I was in middle school and I’m graduating college this year. They taught me confidence and how to stand up for myself. They taught me how to love myself when my own parents tore down any physical defect they saw. BTS’s message made me who I am.
I like your reaction and you talked about it. I could tell you are now interested on our boys. You will not regret as I am. They healed me in my journey in life. Who would have thought that a 61 year old rely her happiness on 7 talented and down to earth boys from South Korea. I lived in classical music most of my life. I now learned to appreciate rap music which I considered a noise in the past. God bless BTS.
26:35 to answer your question, check out Rice Squad’s “The Most Beautiful Life Goes On: A Story of BTS” (2022 update) (lengthy as well but talks about the background of the group like how they were formed) 28:08 Taylor Nakamoto’s video that everyone keeps recommending is the one to check out
Thanks for taking your time to react to this and I'll like you to react to their backstage moments (like what happens backstage after their performances)
@@thecrib33 i cant still believe how big they are because they didn't change at all.. i fall inlove with their personality, their bond with one another. I don't like their music at first but after knowing them and the meaning of each song now my playlist is just all BTS SONG
I did exactly what you guys did.. I started with dynamite, but before that I knew nothing of BTS except that I thought they were not my type of music. I opened my mind as I learned more about them. It was a journey for me too!!
Loved your genuine reactions.. BTS made their place in music industry with their blood, sweat and tears ..we ARMY are so proud of them and their humbleness and genuineness..

Thank you for taking your time to enjoy this content. We truly want to give y’all a real reaction and we’re glad to support the ARMY 💜💜💜

when you really enter BTS's life sincerely and understand all their hard work which maybe not everyone will be able to face, believe me you will get a lot of love from us the army and you will get a lot of support from us
I love how you guys don’t overreact unlike a lot of youtubers it’s shows your genuine 10/10 reaction
And when i tell u complete creative/artistic freedom and involvement are RARE in the kpop industry
Bet bet 💜💜💜
I think the other 2 are Brazil and USA

Their songs are really deep, we don't usually get it after watching the first time
I'm 43 female, black-American living in Mississippi. Been with the group since 2013.

I'm 37 and i am an ARMY since 2015, the members is not only an amazing artist but so humble and true , adorable, funny human and genius kids..
I’m a 23 yr old ARMY and I can tell BTS are really talented and diverse. They’re truly humble and positive.

💜💜💜
i would describe the protectiveness of armys over bts like this - imagine you had a person in your life who is just genuinely good through and through, helps out and is sweet to everyone, never creates trouble. and you wish nothing but the best for them. then, all of a sudden, people get salty about their existence for no reason and spread unfounded rumours and shit talk them for literally no reason. you'd be triggered, no? especially if they mean a lot to you. that's kinda how we feel; though they obviously aren't directly in our lives, their work has still impacted us all and it's just really triggering and shitty when people have these weird and hateful preconceived notions of such good people who don't deserve that treatment. i wish more people just understood that, instead of being even more hateful because they find us getting triggered funny or stupid. so yeah.
Im so happy that You give them a chance becouse BTS really change people for better. You wont regret getting to know them. Lots of love from Army!💜

Believe me, you won't regret it.
woooow what a great discussion in between the reactions. Thank youuuu!!!! 💜💜💜💜💜

Thank you for reacting to this. The more you dig into them the better you understand

RM is releasing his first album, I thought the 25th of this month, but He said on weverse today December 2nd.

Fighting! 😄

I enjoyed your reactions! Thank you for being so thoughtful and engaged with the video. Enjoy your journey with BTS! 💜
I think the Taylor guide to the members would give you much of the backstory you are seeking.
Hola. Thanks for your reaction.
Thank you again…Borahae!💜
for the newer fans of BTS the taylor intorduction is great and but suga and spice intro is more raw ! im so glad you watched an older introduction to them as the older 1s are more powerful x x celeste vid is a great way to start .......peace and purple luv from the uk
also if you did the suga and spice introduction of the 7 members ....some of the newer fans would see it and realise the difference and struggles
Good start up reactions. Thank you for understanding BTS & ARMY 👏👏👏
