This is like making a Woke James Bond... So full of bullsh... to take the personality, charisma and spirit of a brand and try to convert it on the exact opposite. I can understand that a marketing agency could take this LGBT+-/* to any client stupid enough to let it do it, but to the Jaguar executives to let the agency get away with it is the reason behind this nonsense. I recommend sincerely to Jaguar to stop this woke image as soon as is possible and focus on the heritage of the brand. If Jaguar do a U turn on this nonsense right now that the world has it on focus the brand has a chance to survive.
There is no hope the damage is already done and the woke CEO has doubled down, threatening customers and employees to like it or else
Interesting that the Tata boss passed away in October......
Being a marketing and design guy myself, can honestly say this is absolute portfolio-driven bollox! Branding ideas totally copied from the 80s and 90s and this is going to go horribly wrong for a company that I have respected for years, well, since I was a kid in fact. Embarrassing. Hey ho. Lee
I bought a Jaguar before all this. It is an elegant, beautiful and unique supercharged estate styled in Jaguar's tradition of graceful, understated refinement. It is an extremely rare model for the United States and one of only 99 imported. The interior and exterior color combination is the only one I have ever seen. I am extremely pleased with it. Now I am embarrassed to drive it.
The rebrand was done in house which is a marketing no no.
As demonstrated by Bud Lite which was also done in house
If I had a Jaguar on order I would cancel the thing.
Amy nailed it. This is not original. It IS a Benetton rip off. They better have something jaw-droppingly good for the concept car unveil otherwise you can stick a fork in this brand. It was a dying car brand so there's a temptation to do a hail mary pass. But the brand needs to evolve more slowly. This reminds me of what Ron Johnson did to JCP.
A genius move! People will be diverted from the scandalous fire-prone I-Paces!
Everyone is talking about Jaguar. The opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference.
Yes but talking about isn't worth a hill of beans if you don't have the product to back it up. IMO they don't and have screwed the pooch. December 2nd will tell
@johncherish7610 yes, but product is also not enough if no one is aware of it.
That’s it. I’ve always loved Jaguar car. Because of this ad, I won’t be buying one, now. I can’t afford one, anyway.
If I was in the market for a new car and I saw this awful advert my reaction would be , they must be bonkers and I would not want to give them my business if they can’t even understand I want to see the cars not this bunch of weirdos.
At first I thought this was an advert for Zoolander 2! Absolutely comical😂
