The Clark Freeport and Special Economic Zone (CFEZ), often shortened to Clark, refers to an area in Central Luzon, Philippines.
The CFEZ in Pampanga covers portions of the cities of Angeles and Mabalacat and portions of the town of Porac while parts of the area in Tarlac include portions of the towns of Capas and Bamban, Tarlac.
The CFEZ divided into two areas, the Clark Freeport Zone (CFZ) and the Clark Special Economic Zone (CSEZ). The New Clark City is part of the Clark Special Economic Zone. The CFZ covers the area of the former United States Air Force facility, Clark Air Base. Most of this air base was converted to the Clark International Airport and some remained under the control of the Philippine Air Force. Clark Global City is also part of the Clark Freeport Zone.
Clark forms the hub for business, industry, aviation, education, and tourism in the Philippines as well as a leisure, fitness, entertainment and gaming center of Central Luzon.
[History]
In 1898, Clark was first established as a U.S. military camp for the 5th Calvary after the Spanish-American War. The base was first named as Clark Field in 1918, after Major Harold M. Clark, a pre-World War I pilot.
After the Mount Pinatubo eruption in 1991, the air base was shut down. As a result, the base was turned over to the Philippine government on November 26, 1991 and was converted into a free port and special economic zone.
Eventually, on March 20, 2007, the Clark Air Base was renamed to Clark Freeport Philippines under the administration of the then-President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. This development allowed investors to enjoy tax-free and other duty-free privileges. Since then, Clark Freeport Zone has attracted a great number of foreign and domestic investors.

This place is more relaxing than BGC because of its greenery environment and less pollution and traffic
Syempre konti pa lang yung mga building kaya less traffic pa ang liit lang din ng kalsada dapat 4 lanes na bawat right and left ng mga kalsada
It's still a developing city after all in the future it will be like sydney and more traffic in the way
BGC was built inside an overpopulated metropolitan so…technically it never really started or built on new area.

I spent 2yrs at Clark AB 1987-1989 and Angeles, mabalacat, Dau, Sompangbato (sp) Balibago were dirt roads poorly paved streets potholes and open sewers. The transformation is just amazing. Not going to lie I wish they never closed the base, but politics are politics. Planning a trip back very soon. a retirement condo may be in the future.

And show what it was like before and then now. Some of us might be able to get our bearings. Right now it’s like going to your 50th class reunion. Some people you can pick out. Some have really changed. And then some just aren’t there anymore.

Hindi naman kasi siya city, it's still a township a modern township created from the former military base of the US and became a freeport zone before it was converted to its present use.. Just like BGC, it is still under the local flagship of Taguig City. Pampanga is a province that has a capital Mabalacat City if I am not mistaken. So you are just suggesting an imaginary proposal which I think will never happen in the first place. And whether we like it or not this place of Kapampangans has its own unique character and identity that we need to embrace until it reaches its full potential as a smart city in the future. Just like coming from many other provinces who have their first time embracing the cosmopolitan lifestyle of the NCR Manila and taking all our pride in speaking in Tagalog instead of our normal regional dialects, unless you care and are more comfortable speaking the English language and thinking that you will be more accepted and fit in, which I think is very irrational in the first place. So, to make the story short, embrace the uniqueness of this place, and be true to yourself if you want to blend in with their unique culture and traditions. One thing though as FYI, if your eyes are looking for something aesthetic you will surely love seeing good-looking pals & gals in this region. Thanks to the Spanish colonial community in Central Luzon especially in this area of Pampanga and other nearby provinces of Zambales, Tarlac, & Nueva Ecija which have cross-migrated in the region and are able to produce hybrid individuals with exceptional physical looks lol. Well, I am speaking to my opinion so I fully accept any of this as my own disclaimer. Also, the presence of these former American Military Bases in these provinces has influenced the unique character of their people which many people might have understood rather than embraced and appreciated their uniqueness.

I wish the roads that start around 18:20 were asphalt in both lanes. I think the concrete right lane encourages people to always drive in the left lane which is not as safe as have a slow lane on the right and a left lane for overtaking unless a car is turning left.

New clark city is located in Capas,Tarlac,while Clark Global City and Clark Special Economic Freeport Zone is located in Pampanga mostly in mabalacat area and angeles city
You can't buy a lot inside Clark. Buildings there are only on lease. if you want to purchase property you can buy at Mabalacat or Angeles city which are the surrounding towns
