Lightning: A pretty fitting name for this place. A power plant built in the middle of an area where lightning storms are constant, in order to harness the energy provided by each strike. Anybody with sensitive ears would probably die after spend only a few seconds here, but I guess anybody with sensitive ears would die after only a few seconds of watching F-Zero. The security here can be pretty bad, because few people are actually willing to work under such harsh conditions. As usual, the danger is the main reason F-Zero is hosted here sometimes.
Best new stage that they added in GX. The industrial "unfinished" aesthetic to the track and the incredible feeling of driving all-out in a raging thunderstorm was a brilliant stage idea.
Favorite song in the whole game. This brings back so many great (horrible) memories of getting yeeted off the half pipe back in the day in master class 😩. Poor Dr Stewart lol
For real, it's my favorite biome and song in the game as well. Lightning half pipe + master class + final lap + no spare machines left = absolute peak gaming, no other racing game comes close imo
As i said in DeoxysPrime's vid, Stage 5 on Very Hard is straight adrenaline going full speed! Also it's one of my favorite songs of the game and love listening to it during a thunderstorm.
I somehow prefer this over the GP Legend and Climax versions despite the music being completely different. For the early 2000s, this music in general is way ahead of its time. This sounds like something from the 2010s at least.
Had a very interesting situation on Loop Cross where the pack was getting very congested on the flip side of the finish line on the final lap, and somehow Crazy Bear was launched upwards by the pressure and landed just before the finish line skipping half a lap. I finished second because of that.
I was thinking 'Gone in 60 Seconds', specifically "Busy Child" by The Crystal Method or "Never Gonna Come Back Down" by BT. Classic big beats and funky breaks mixed with D&B.
From what I can remember, people had a big fuck-up there and caused a giant constant storm somehow. They then used that storm as a really powerful power source, so powerful in fact that it powers Earth and many other neighboring planets.
@@Rubiktor012 Yup, I played GP Legend after this comment lol. That game tells you it's always storming here, and electric companies set up shop here to harness it all.
Sounds like a lot of late 90's/early 2000's big beat/funky breaks sound banks used by The Crystal Method, BT, Prodigy, Fluke, and Cirrus to name a few.

On my way trying to save Jody for the 457th time after slightly bumping on the sideways shutting doors and losing 10% of my speed.
Me in very hard difficulty
@@elmuchacho3379 F zero Gx is trash

bait used to be believable V-
When I finally beat that mission on very hard after legit hundreds of attempts, my time was exactly 0:40:000
Main lap: the heart of the storm
final lap: nuclear meltdown
Perfectly put

Playing these stages in first person was a real trip - made it even crazier.
@@mattguggemos6188First of all, that sounds like a terrible idea. Second of all, where can I access this terrible idea.

well the Golden Fox is hard to drive :)
Dr stewart is my main too 😁
Mighty gazelle is a close second.
Its all about the boost
I was always a Groovy Taxi driver, but Dr. Stewart is iconic

Its an amazing song for sure! F-zero needs to come back and add online multiplayer!
Voice: "Do you wah?"
Kirk Hammett: "Yes."
I don't get it. Sorry
I cannot count the amount of close calls and heart attacks i had on half-pipe, and then proceeding to die 5 seconds later
The final lap part and half pipe were made for each other. Best song in game
Thunder Road too
4:56 Yeah, the final lap!
Trying not to crash while playing this on a rainy day
DO YOU WAHH?
Kirk Hammett: Yes.
'Babe you better not be Lightning Loop Crossin' when I get back'

Goosebumps in 2023 when I heard that again !! Childhood is the best!
This song was made by one of Yakuza / Like a Dragon series composer.
Most of the ost was made by him and another composer.
Lighting Half-Pipe ❤
Half-pipe can be hard if you're just boosting like crazy
I somehow prefer this over the GP Legend and Climax versions despite the music being completely different.

When the final lap music plays and your machine is beeping red on low health that's when you're heart really goes wild beating like the storm
Lighting Thunder Road ❤
If background music were real. I could imagine this playing while im trying to drive away from a storm or tornado.

One of the sickest songs in the game. Also this place is called Lightning. Is it constantly stormy there?
Yes

The theme of clipping through the track on half pipe
This plays in Captain Falcon's head when he needs the bathroom and it's at the other end of whatever building he's in.
If spring had a music theme: 🌩 😂🔝
Here were i live lots of storms happen in spring.

The music from this game is so repetitive it's stupid, yet at the same time I love it.
