The line “probably over-wash my hands” makes me want to cry. It just shows how much hope we have but also how this will change us forever. Stay well everyone x
Piperazzi_squad_fam I’m 16 and I understand. When I was 11, all I wanted to do was have a good time and being cooped up at 11 is not easy. We will get past the Coronavirus and you’ll never want to come back inside again. Just think, you’ll be in our history books soon.
Your comment made me laugh, because I agreed with it, but probably would never have thought of expressing my thoughts about this absolutely excellent song in the way you did. What you said was both very funny, and very true.
Luke Combs is Everything each of you have said and then some. It's Amazing how today we are still dealing with COVID-19 and probably always will. Thank you Luke Combs Again 🏆.
This song makes me emotional... because I did my first show at a bar in Janesville Wisconsin. I had never sang in front of a crowd. I made everyone stand on their feet mid song. I sang Firecracker by Josh Turner. That feeling is a addictive. Singing is my dream and my love. Now I can’t wait for this situation we’re all in to be over. I want hugs and hand shakes from random strangers again... I’ve never been one for the whole social media singing... so I guess I’m old school. Hope i get to meet Luke someday. Love you man.
countrygirl countrymusiclover Im glad to hear that. Gotta still have fun with friends and family. Gotta keep our spirits up and still have fun while being safe. Hope you and your loved ones are doing amazing.
I have never commented on a UA-cam video before, but I have utmost respect for Luke Combs. Many artists are releasing new songs during this pandemic, but this song is exactly what we needed at this time. We are all going through very hard times and it may seem like it's only getting worse, but we will get through this!❤ Don't give up everyone! Thank you to all our frontline healthcare workers and R.I.P. to all the innocent lives taken. 💔

My dad has me crying as he asks if this song is about loosing loved ones and them being buried 6ft down. 😭😭😭 new meaning to the lyrics and more love for Luke!!!
Probably the most beautiful song I’ve ever listened to, especially given the situation. Luke did a great job turning a bad thing into something to bring hope to us and lift our spirits. Great job Luke!!
I honestly cant wait till my kids learn about all this and I can actually say "i know, i was there" and tell them how school changed and how at groceries and restaurants and stores there was tape and glass to keep us 6 ft apart. Hopefully they wont go through it tho
It's interesting seeing historical events while they're happening and recognizing them as such. I'm only in my 20s but I've seen a few major world events already - September 11th, 2001; the 2004 tsunami in the Indian Ocean, multiple devastating hurricanes (Katrina in 2005), the economic recession of 2008, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, civil wars in many countries around the world, the rise of global terrorism, the tsunami and nuclear accident in Japan in 2011, and the Covid-19 pandemic, just to name a few. With all the craziness around us it is my hope that we will try harder to love, to live, and to light other people's lives with our good spirits and helping hands. The alternative is certainly possible, and terrifying.
When everything goes back to normal i promise to live my life to the fullest because we cant take this life for granted we're not here that long so i promise to live like im dying when this is over 🤞🏻🙏🏼
When all this is over I’m doing so many things that I took for granted, dancing, ice skating, movies, favorite restaurants, jog in the park etc......can’t wait.

Now this is what country music should be. Reminds me of the good country from the 70's 80's and 90's before they started mixing pop and rap with country. We need more of this kind of country luke combs making country music great again.
This is beautiful. Won’t have near the effect on current generations and beyond like it does all of us. This about sums it up…..minus all the gory parts. We have enough of that shit we wake up to everyday. Respect the fact that it wasn’t part of the song. Luke Coobs is one in a damn million. No artist has ever moved me as much as he has/had. His song “Even though your leaving” came out just a few short months before my dad died, with whom I was extremely close to. Every now and again I will play it when I have one of my “dad days” is what I call it when missing him extra bad and this song brings me closer to him than anything in this world. If you got to the end of this long winded comment, I thank you for “listening” ❤
This made me cry and I remember the day this song came out I was like COVID will be over in a month welp it has been 8 almost 9 and it is 2021 and that is crazy how fast time goes by. I remember being younger and say I could Waite till I was a teenager and I am about to be 15 in 7 weeks which is crazy can time just slow down? I hope COVID is over with by the time this song hits one year. Hope you have a great day ❤️❤️
Not normally country fans but, while sitting on our porch today, we were playing Amazon's country channel for something different to listen to and this song came on. When I heard the lyrics, I literally ran into the house to see who it was. Luke Combs (and country music) just gained some new fans!! Thank you very much for this song. It lifted our spirits and reinforced our belief that we will someday return to (some sort of) normalcy. I am always telling people to enjoy the moment. Meaning THIS moment. NOW. Because, whether you realize it or not, these ARE the good old days. Think about that. Everything you took for granted before...family, friends, local watering hole, dining out, hugs, school, holidays, sports, happy times in general and, most importantly, feelings of health and safety and security, were wiped out. But, they will come back. In new and different ways but we will one day be able to do all those things again. What I hope everyone takes away from this whole horrible nightmare is to appreciate NOW. Because what we took for granted before: all those "mundane" moments in life and time, were actually our "good old days". They are what made up our lives. So, be grateful for today and look forward to making new happy days and happy memories in the future. (And if, right now, you find it hard to keep putting one foot in front of the other, just remember, "This too shall pass." Because it will. Someday all of this will be in our rear view mirrors. And that will be wonderful!)
It's sad it took a pandemic for people to realize we've taken too much for granted for too long. Dont wait for this pandemic to end to justify living... call someone tonight. Say "Thanks for being my friend.....I appreciate you in my life" THATS how I'm living my life balls to the wall....and if the cards fall for me.....I left my footprint in this world.....

I can't believe this was done unironically. This dude is gonna be the next Alan Jackson.

Now this is what country music should be. Reminds me of the good country from the 70's 80's and 90's before they started mixing pop and rap with country. We need more of this kind of country luke combs making country music great again.
Love this one. Luke never disappoints
Who else was watching their phone waiting for this??

This song will be played in so many schools 30 years from now.
This will be a graduation song for the next few classes
Or in a history class..
Faxxx
I've come here to analyze it for school right now!
Hope you have a great day ❤️❤️
Dont worry its getting a lot better out
Not normally country fans but, while sitting on our porch today, we were playing Amazon's country channel for something different to listen to and this song came on. And that will be wonderful!)
awwww😥😥😥😉😉
It's sad it took a pandemic for people to realize we've taken too much for granted for too long. Dont wait for this pandemic to end to justify living... call someone tonight. Say "Thanks for being my friend.....I appreciate you in my life" THATS how I'm living my life balls to the wall....and if the cards fall for me.....I left my footprint in this world.....
😭
This is the best comment I've ever seen you are going to be the person that makes a difference in this world
