I hope they'll find a way to bring him back. I'm not gonna watch Season 4 without him, he was my favorite character. I'm still pissed how they killed him off, they didn't even give him a redempetion arc, like they did with Frank 😤 If they think they can just replace him with the new guy...well, they're wrong 😒
Chiara Potterhead ughh, the new guy 😞 I actually prefer Frank at him. And I know how you're feeling right now, I was both sad and angry when I fist saw that episode. Now I'm just hopeless... 😅
the explanation is that, people from another world become "travelers" to the shows world when they do not exist there anymore (like Trudy). so, Joe from another world could come to Juliana's rescue or so I hope because that's the only way i will keep on watching this show.
PREACH!! I am so attached and feel so involved. From the trailer of Season 4 it looks like some weirdness is gonna go down and I am not okay. Literally, this relationship is the most intense and connected relationship. They have chemistry! They need to resurrect him but as a pure of heart rebel lol ;)
I totally agree. I hope that they find a way to bring him back as well. He has been my favorite character since the very first episode!.... They better bring him back! 💔😭
After his death in the 5th episode, nothing was the same. Sth just broke inside me. The last 3 episodes were intense and I enjoyed them, but it wasnt the same. I just feel cheated like everyone. Have been looking forward to their reunion for two years. I'm on the this is a different Joe from another universe bandwagon. That kind of imprisonment would do crazy things to people, but his tenderness toward Juliana was mostly missing, which made no sense. Bring Joe and Juliana back together! Love your videos. Just beautiful. And Wyatt--meh.
Whoo, beautiful! Loved this! I'm crossing my fingers that perhaps we've not seen the last of Joe. TMITHC made it sound that in order for a person to exist in another reality there has to be some sort of void in order to avoid a paradox (or something like that), so I'm theorizing that a Joe from another universe could pop up now that this Joe is gone. I feel like there's more to Juliana's vision where Joe was saying "don't worry, trust me." Perhaps that was another him and she doesn't realize it at the moment obviously. Anyway, loved the video! Need the next season now. We had to wait for S3 for so long and I can't wait that long again.
Okay. This is my theory. The moment he was captured at the end of s2 and tortured i think that was the real Joe. They brought the other Joe from the alternate universe to kill Juliana and Tagomi. The real Joe is still captured by the Nazis and idk for what reason. And idk if any this makes sense but that's my last bread. I hope you are good for now dear. Let's pray that he will come again to us and Juliana 😢
Unfortunately they already said in the last episode that people can only move between worlds if they aren't alive in the one they travel to. Meaning there can't be two of the same person in the same universe :(
rgirl132 Damn, I haven't finished the Season so I didn't knew about this. Well, then I guess it's the end 😳😳😳 RIP to another ship that deserved so much better 💔💔💔
Amazing video, I love the song choice x I'm really late to the party and just started watching the series. I'm so upset how their story ended, they had so much chemistry! So now I'm just watching your great videos and reminiscing. The song daylight would really fit as well x
Killing Joe was the biggest and only mistake of this Season. They just turned into a villain for no reason apparently and then they ruined the relationship he had with Juliana which was the meanly reason I start to watch the show. Their love was so pure in Season1, she saw the best of him and he changes because of her. Who the hell thought it was a good idea killing him this way?!? Even if they'll bring him back, it's never gonna be the same. They ruined everything in my opinion. I'll never gonna see them in the same way anymore. The scene when she slit his troath was sick I just want to remove it from my mind and acting like this Season never exixsted. I don't think I'm gonna watch Season 4. I'm sure they're gonna pair her with the new guy (I don't remember his name, probably because I don't care). Sorry for the rant, I just finished to watch the Season and I'm pissed.
Yea the show emphasizes so much on how Joe is kind in the deep of his heart and how he can be changed through clips from the other world and his background story, especially the clip of him shooting Juliana and then himself in the cave over and over again. It's all for nothing. It's like the writer suddenly decided to abandon the foreshadowing and love storyline and thought oh adding revolution and uprising as the main story would a better idea and so that kills off Tagomi too. May be I am biased because I like their story too much lol
Beautiful video with great song that fits their relationship, feels like there's always big ocean between them: one on the Nazi side and the other on the Resistance. Just finished watching ep 5 of season 3 and was shocked and pissed like everyone else. Wtf is happening? I thought he is a main and interesting character in the movie. The fact that he's on the complete opposite side with Juliana makes it more interesting to watch their love growing. And they let her kill him immediately without any hesitating in the bathroom. Haven't read the book yet but hopefully its true that he's not dying in the other world.
Thank you so much for the dedication, you truly understand what Joeliana is about and everything you make is like magic, it just fits in the characters, the song, the time, you're very talented! I'm too shocked yet to say I'm okay with what happened this season, but all I know is that your video made my day and made me a little more happy, I was able to see what they lived together and it warmed my heart again. Thanks for your great job, thank you for attending our requests, you're so sweet!!!!
I started to watch teh season yesterday, and now I dont know what to do!!! I realy love Joe and Juliana's relationship, I saw the serie because of plot and them. This is so frustrating and sad!!
SPOILER ALEEEEEEEEERT OMG OMG WHAT I AM GOING TO DO NOW?????? I am so behing in this show and and this perfection, I had to watch it and dye... TT but your edit was so flawless and on point and OMG IS HE DEAD?????? idk what to think, or if I ship them, not sure of anything nowadays but I need to finish this show because MY GODDESS JULIANA
L'ho rivisto 10 volte!❤
Joe is my favorite character by far, but I think that Smith evolved into the main Nazi antagonist/protagonist and that it left Joe without a real place on the show. I also think the new show-runner saw an opportunity to line his character back up to the book’s. If he stayed, he was just a tag along to Juliana’s or to smith’s story without one of his own.
Alex's Walkthroughs Well, I read somewhere that her feelings in the book weren't clear. All we know is that she was Frank's ex wife in there, but it seems like Frank underestimated her in the books, he thought she was dumb, while she has a lot mixed feelings about Joe in the books. She was attracted to him but somehow he scared her. Quoting: "You petrify me with your hatred of life. But you... you have something." It also seems like Joe was the one that really understood her in the books. When she finds out the truth about Joe she had a mental breakdown. She closed herself in the bathroom and tried to committed a suicide but at last she changed her mind and she killed Joe instead. In the same way it happens on the show. That's all I have found. Btw the show has been very different from the book since the begginning. There's no Wyatt Price nor John Smith in the books. Those characters were created specifically for the Tv Show. So many things were differents, I don't get why they had to put this specifically scene from the books on the show. We were okay with the Joe they introduced in Season 1 😭
Oh my god I'm heartbroken. This was beautiful and tragic, all the things I love! Beautiful job! Could I ask you where you got the episodes? I've been looking everywhere for them.
Guys, GUYS, GUUUUUYZ!!!! I got a theory that can explain what happened, and, even more, give us hope! So, considering what was shown in the 3 season, we were expecting at least two more seasons to conclude all the story lines. We had the storyline of Michelle Dörmer, a propaganda filmmaker, who was arrested by Himmler for being in a relationship with Thelma Harris, the journalist, remember? We had Ed, who was put into a homosexual relationship exactly to tear attention to his character. He also mentioned he had feelings for Juliana, with the subtext "to be continued" (otherwise, what for?). We had Trudy Walker, Juliana's alt-sister, who was one of the key characters and had a very important place in the show. We had the "Catholic" commune, wich must have been brought up to figure as an independent entity alongside the BCR and the American resistance. One of the dumbest is the part with the girl who survives the Portal and travels to the other world during the early testings by the Nazis. Being an important event on its own, I would still not make such a fuss about it, but she was given extra time, with Hawthorne talking about her, saying something like: "But she, she is no ordinary girl. No ordinary people can walk through that portal. You will hear about her, John." And the face of the character being zoomed in for nothing else, but so that we could remember it and recognize her later. It was clear that she had an important upcoming role. I'm sure there were many others, that I forgot of, please write them in the comments. We also had the whole Jahr Null thing. But, of course, our main complaint is the death of the two key characters: Joe Blake and Frank Frink. In any other circumstances, it would mean that we lost those two and we would be fairly demotivated to watch the rest of the show. BUT before they are killed, we are introduced the Portal and the story of Thomas aka the plots magical ability to revive its characters. That's why we were not really upset with it. It was clear, that, since there is the alternate universe(s), such important characters MUST reprise. It was clearly the message of the third season. The fact that the two, Joe and Frank, are not just important, but key characters is proven by that the chemistry between Joe and Juliana, Juliana and Frank, Frank and Joe, was the reason all the fateful decisions and, consequently, plot twists, took place. It was the basis of the whole story, the reason to the events, that constituted the series! And the main essence of the show was that, despite propaganda, regimes and brain-washing, love, of all kinds, can do miracles. Okay, I understand why the killed Tagomi -- to create a dissonance for Kiddo and make him question his values. And, alas, none of these characters were even mentioned in season 4. "What kind of writers create the solid of the plot, premisses for promising storylines and then destroy them by themselves?!" you ask. I think I have the answer. The directors MEANT to conclude the series properly. Season 4 was meant to unfold, not to wrap up. There are two possible reasons this didn't happen. Number one: replacement of the directors and/or writers. The new team may have had another view on the way the series should end and what paths should characters take. Number Two: unexpected financing cut/ series shutdown and the associated with them necessity to fold the show up within 10 episodes. This is the most likely one. I think that, roughly, that's what they've been told:"Okay, we have bad news for you. Unlike what we all thought, the show can't be renewed for ... reasons, so you have to quickly wrap it up. But let's not make the ending too firm, because, yes, we don't have money right now, but, who knows, we were a successful show, with a loyal audience and a good plot, we may be given the chance to proceed in the future. We need to leave unanswered questions to keep the intrigue in case we will be renewed. So, long story short, give it an ending but with the opportunity for a spin-off". It's a common practice in the movie industry, to end each season so, that it could be that last and not the last at the same time, so I'm not completely insane)) Even more, with that theory, everything becomes reasonable. With only one season to spare, they had to choose the minor (relatively, of course) storyline (the John and Thomas's) to conclude and to leave the major one (Juliana and Joe's (and Frank's)) unfolded, because they a) didn't have enough screen time for it to conclude it (that's for sure, even without my theory) and b) needed to leave some doors open. Bonus: this may sound insane, but I like to think of it as a validation for my theory)) Now, in the season 4, Juliana has visions, and in one of them, she sees a hexograme, which meaning she discovers to be "not yet complete". Throughout the season, the hexograme doesn't appear until the last episode, in which, too, it doesn't seem to tally with the circumstances. What else can it be other than a hint to the deliberate loose ends, left by the creators themselves. Also, in the vision, Juliana sees blur silhouettes appearing on the horizon. What else can it refer to, other than the people coming out of the Portal in the end of the series? These scenes are so out-of-context, I have to believe they were left specifically for the vigilant viewers. So yeah, that's my theory and it for sure will keep me going. Share it and let's see what other fans will think about it (and who knows, maybe even what the creators will have to say about it).
I frl fucking cried when Julianna killed him. But then I was like, "WAIT! PEOPLE CAN ONLY TRAVEL FROM ONE WORLD TO ANOTHER THEY NO LONGER EXIST IN! JOE STILL LIVES! Just somewhere else!!" And that made me forgive the producers and writers amd directors for killing my favorite character...I think Joe can be redeemed
Hi I know you asked someone else, but I can sort of answer your question. I haven't watched it entirely and I never will, just fast forwarded and got a general idea of what happened plus I've read what other people have said so I know pretty much what happens. People are really mad about this so called last season because killed Tagomi off screen, they focused almost entirely on the new characters that were introduced this season and it's resistance vs Nazi, Japanese nonsense, they focused on Smith becoming a cartoon villain and his family drama with Helen and the kids, Juliana's role is replaced by the new actress while Juliana isn't Juliana anymore, just someone named Juliana. They focused on Kido and his newly introduced son that from what I understood got mixed up with Childan, speaking of Childan he found love and got married to a new Japanese girl that he just meet. Can you tell by now that this is really stupid? And can you tell that everything is just new? It's basically a parody of itself, now I know why Alexa herself didn't do any interviews for this season and why she avoided it entirely. She's barely in it. The star of the show is barely in her last season. And when she is, she looks dead and zoomed out. At first I thought I was seeing things because I wanted to see that, but no, more and more people started to notice that Alexa this season didn't even bother to act. She knew it was bad and didn't even try. It was clear that she was there because of her contract and a paycheck. She has scenes with discount Joe (the other guy that's what a lot of people have started to call him) and she's phoning it in hard. It's just so obvious that she just does it because it's in the script. Their scenes are so forced and even the acting is forced. Frank is not in it, Joe's not, Nicole's not, Juliana's parents aren't, Trudy isn't. And I don't even think they were mentioned. It just makes the entire series pointless. There's no reason to watch the whole thing because absolutely nothing mattered. It was all for nothing, the development, the hints, the foreshadowing, the journey. Nothing mattered.
@@NostradAlex woah, I cannot believe my eyes! Not even Nicole is in this Season? Why? What about Ed? Anyway, this happens when they change the executive producer too many time. This show has changed them 3 times. The showrunner of the first 2 seasons was Frank Spotniz (which is also one of the executive producer of the Medici series, I highly recommend it.) That's what he said before his departure: "I had a very different idea about where I wanted the show to go, and what I wanted the stories to be." Now we know what he meant... Clearly he didn't agreed with their creative choices for Season3 and on, that's why he left. And that's when the show went downhill. I don't even know what you mean when you say Juliana is not Juliana. And why they killed Tagomi too? I'm so sad, this show had a lot of potential and I feel like it was wasted 😞
No, Ed is not in it either. Why? I don't know. I know about Frank Spotnitz aka the creator of the show and also showrunner was fired during the production of season 2 because he was spending too much money on it. Well that's not exactly what they said, but that's what it means once you translate the corporate speech regarding his departure. He was fired because he was spending too much money on it and Amazon wanted to cut the budget which they did and they also moved the locations to a much cheaper place. BTW it really shows. I did not know Spotnitz said that. What I do know is what Daniel Percival said after Spotnitz left. Daniel said that they would continue Spotnitz's vision. Yeah he continued it alright. By completely destroying the show. What I meant is that they changed Juliana's character again. They changed her in season 3 and now again. She's not the Juliana that we followed and it's not because of her journey, she's just someone else wearing her skin. Why did they kill Tagomi? Who knows. Oh and what is the third change of the showrunner? Spotnitz was showrunner for seasons 1 and 2 and he got replaced with Eric Overmyer or something like that for seasons 3 and 4. Did they also replaced Eric for season 4? That's something I don't know. I thought he remained for season 4.
@@NostradAlex Oh, now I get what you mean about Juliana and I agree. Season 3 Juliana was so different from the girl we knew in the first 2 Season. I don't know about Season 4 version, but I trust your judgment. So who she ended up with? The guy they introduced last season? Wyatt? What happened to John in the end? Anyway, I read somewhere a few days ago that there were two new showrunners for Season4, idk, i may be wrong about that one, I'm not sure. I know for sure that the first Season was the best for me. I thought they were trying to sending a message of hope with this show, but after what they did to Joe last Season and how they completely destroyed his character, I completely lost interest. I think him, Juliana and Tagomi deserved so much better. What a waste.
So I watch the show but don't know the logistics in details but I liked Joe. But because Juliana is going to the other world, would it be possible that Joe is alive in the other world (in which he and Juliana were together) so she could bring back Joe to the 1st world? Or have I missed something major?
Well, I haven't finished Season 3 yet, but all I know is that Juliana can travel in a parallel world in which she's already dead. That means that probably she hasn't meet Joe in that reality so we don't know iwhat happened to him. It's complicated to explain xD
I am not reading the other comments because I do not want to get spoiled. But I have just gotten done watching Season 3, Episode 5.. and I feel like I am going to throw up. First TMIHC broke my heart when the seemingly at the time killed off Frank. You see, I, if in Juliana's shoes am in love with both Joe and Frank. Two totally different men. Both have a GOOD heart. Anyway, I figured all three would die in the last episode of the series, but I damn sure didn't see them killing off my JOE in season 3. I was almost as upset when Frank seemingly died, but I was kind of ready for it because I figured he might die considering what he was doing! . Then when I found out that Frank was still alive is when I figured all three would make it til almost the end and all three die saving America. HOWEVER, THOSE ASSHATS KILLED OFF MY JOE. I am literally sick. Yes, I am rambling because I am SO UPSET.
I hope they'll find a way to bring him back. I'm not gonna watch Season 4 without him, he was my favorite character. Malika Yaneks I feel the same way I'm not watching season 4 it's not going to be the same without him and I don't like the new guy AT ALL!!
He was killed in the book, and in the same manner too I believe.
He was irredeemable. Juliana always sees the good in people and even then Joe was beyond saving. He was a killing machine by the end.

Ouch, this hurts my heart. I love your vid; it's beautiful and bittersweet and makes me feel like crying a little.
It's the song 😭😭😭 It's perfect for them, it's about two lovers that are constantly separate from "oceans".
this is amazing, i'm breathless. oh god. stunning!
thank you for this, truly!
God I'll always come back to see this video, I'll never surpass this couple😫
I'm in denial too. You are not alone

we think we need to watch this show. Alternative history it's our thing :D
Amazing work! beautiful editing! ♥♥

You're the sweet one here! Thanks so much :) Let's just hope they'll fix everything next season 🤞🤞🤞
Save yourself and avoid the pain as far as you can. This season was really heartbreaking :(
Writers of tMITHC better make DAMN sure we get a Joe Blake 2.0 next year cause THIS IS NOT OKAY
Their relationship was the best thing in the show and i don't understand how he changed and turned evil just like that i hope they fix it in season 4
L'ho rivisto 10 volte!❤
Who's here after Season 4, incredibly disappointed? (:
Does joe come back?
@@miirandagarciia nope. She's sees him in a flashback right at the end but that's it.
22emme22 they were the only reason I watched and then the last season was for nothing :(
I love them
Joe is my favorite character by far, but I think that Smith evolved into the main Nazi antagonist/protagonist and that it left Joe without a real place on the show. I also think the new show-runner saw an opportunity to line his character back up to the book’s. If he stayed, he was just a tag along to Juliana’s or to smith’s story without one of his own.
What do you mean line his character back up to the books? What happens in the books?
Yes i agree with you. Everything happens for a reason right? I hope the whole story line will be impressive and perfect in the next season.
Alex's Walkthroughs in the book he is Joseph cinnadella, an assassin killed by Juliana
@rgirl132 Thank you. May I ask you another question. What is their relationship in the books?
It's a common practice in the movie industry, to end each season so, that it could be that last and not the last at the same time, so I'm not completely insane))
Even more, with that theory, everything becomes reasonable. With only one season to spare, they had to choose the minor (relatively, of course) storyline (the John and Thomas's) to conclude and to leave the major one
(Juliana and Joe's (and Frank's)) unfolded, because they a) didn't have enough screen time for it to conclude it (that's for sure, even without my theory) and b) needed to leave some doors open.
Bonus: this may sound insane, but I like to think of it as a validation for my theory))
Now, in the season 4, Juliana has visions, and in one of them, she sees a hexograme, which meaning she discovers to be "not yet complete".
Is it Gwen from Angel (the series)?
BuffAngel Fan Yes, she is!! 😁
Where did you get your clips?
Ugh why did it have to end the way it did... though I have a feeling their story is not quite over
Elora Maxwell Yes, I hope so... It's a very unsatisfied ending 😔
Cuál es la canción chicos?.. The song what is? The name please.!
Oceans by Seafret
I thought Juliana was with someone else in the first episode. How's she with Jules?
I was watching the show and had no clue that she killed him. Well, I'm not watching anymore. It's so sad, I'm really heartbroken 😢
Is this the last season where joe died??
I frl fucking cried when Julianna killed him. But then I was like, "WAIT! PEOPLE CAN ONLY TRAVEL FROM ONE WORLD TO ANOTHER THEY NO LONGER EXIST IN! JOE STILL LIVES! Just somewhere else!!" And that made me forgive the producers and writers amd directors for killing my favorite character...I think Joe can be redeemed
What episode is 0:46 from?
now that i've seen season 4 im mad
I don't think I'm gonna watch it, so you can tell me. How it ended? I just read some people were mad for what happened to Tagomi... 👀
