The most underrated singer, musician and songwriter LOVE him!!!! Absolutely love this Steve Warner is such a genuine performer and human being without pretenses very rare to find 👄💋
OMG, that's so weird, I've been obsessed with this song for three days because I ran across it after not hearing it for maybe 30 years or so and I remember when I heard it the first time when I was 12 and I also felt heartbroken for him
Watched him and his band do this song at Finky's bar in Daytona Beach back in 1976 right after this single was released. It described exactly what I was feeling after being dumped. He was a fantastic singer!
Fact: this song is tremendous. Fact: playing this song on guitar is very gratifying. Fact: playing this song on guitar without a capo is possible. Fact: playing this song on guitar without a capo is able to be done by only one man: Steve Wariner.

Has to be my absolute favorite Wariner song, and cool he got back with some of the old crew including Allyn Love on steel. Wish sound quality was better on the video but still awesome.
Took my young son to Silver Springs,..FLA,..not knowing,,.Imagine the luck when my 2 year old sons first concert was Steve Wariner ,,..I came across this because I was looking into some 80"s to 90"s chart toppers,..looking for songs to practice on the acoustic,..It was such a great era,,..wiith Steve,,Earl Thomas Conley ,..Eddie Raven ,..Alabama,,and after looking up Steve Wariner ,,I see Leroy Parnell,,..this 25 year span ,,is probably the best ,..I did not even mention George S. Clint B.,,.the early ,..influence,..Merle,,Jerry J.,,Waylon ,..this era has a list that goes on and on ,..Imagine driving late at night ,,crossing through states ,,getting to your next designation ,,and "All roads leads to you" comes on,,.this was a great time in country my friends,,..Later,...JSD,..USMC
I met Steve many many years ago at a concert in Southeast Texas and the date I was with that night was so beautiful it actually caught his attention but we got to meeting later for just a couple seconds and he was absolutely the nicest guy
I Spent My 52 Nd Birthday @ Banita Creek Hall @ I Was In Front Of" Steve's Brother "Terry" . & We Had A Wonderful Blast Of A Time. "Steve" Is Just One Of My Best Friends In The Country Music Business. He Is A "Awesome" Entertainer & We Will Always Love Him . Ty For The Friendship. "FLETCH"
I stood about 6 feet from him back in like 1987 at the Chrystal Chandelier in Lancaster Texas, the place was dead at first anyway and he killed it right in front of me. I have zero photos of it unfortunate but its burned in my mind.
I guess I have been excluded raped of everything cuz I stayed with Philip N b Flagstaff, twin arrows casino & bellemont, AZ. Ignace flag auto recyclers, sorry didn't realize he really played me. Thanx alot..peace I died

The most underrated singer, musician and songwriter. LOVE him!!!
Dumb comment. No way in hell Steve is underrated in anyway.
My #1
what did he write? I'm a bit of a snob about singers that never write their song.I always look at the writer/composers first.
Absolutely love this. Steve Wariner is such a genuine performer and human being without pretenses. Very rare to find.
Your absolutly rite
Plus, just dead-on solid, strong, pitch-accurate on both vocals and guitar.
Real deal.
We love you, Steve! Thanks for all the great music over the years. :).

First song I can recall … and he broke my heart with it that somebody would hurt Steve Warner. He’s so amazing/sweet.

He is the best singer, song writer, and musician . I love all his songs ! I was there that night and he gave such a great performance . ❤❤
I took guitar lessons from Steve's brother, Terry. I'm still playing. Steve was such a huge influence on me. So thankful for his music.
From the pen of John Scott Sherrill. Great song that Steve just knocks it to the moon. And his guitar playing is second to none.
