Man those little ebow sweeps at the end were heavenly
New music from The Dungeon and now using the cutting edge Dolby Atmos, amazing, beautiful !!!!
Quite otherworldly instrumental. Well done. Hooked me in. Headrush has been around for a long time now and it’s great to see it being used so creatively with an EBow.
This is similar to what I have been trying to brainstorm. Way cool! Thanks for the inspiration and info to forge on.
Sounds really good, Bill. Immersive, beautifully textured and I love the E-bow effect at the end. I once owned a Headrush delay and I was mighty impressed with the four heads/outputs. I wasn't using it much though and sold it to fund other gear. However, I regretted my decision as soon as I was packing it up for shipping! I'm looking forward to watching how you achieved the Atmos mix. Very effective indeed.
Really nice! Thanks for sharing the tech. details too.
Thank you for including the shot of your effect setting. It's very helpful.
Every time you play that guitar I wish I owned it. Great sounds you created in this episode. The swirling movement really effective. As always, thanks.
The Akai E2 Head Rush was the first pedal I ever bought. I've had many loopers and delays since but I always keep going back to that one.
Me too, my first pedal as well.
Very nice soundscape.
I need to find my old Tangerine Dream tapes.
Well that was a treat!
Very cool!
Hell! I have an old Headrush around here someplace!
This was fantastic! I’ve been doing something similar, but not in atmos. This sure is inspiring AND I think I need to invest in a couple Headrush pedals now. It’s safe to say you’ve been quite an influence.
Excellent 🙏
Really cool choice to assign all the delay outputs for immersive audio.
Yes please a more technical video on how you did what you did is needed.
I use Dear Reality products for immersive audio and they sound fantastic
MY DUDE. ear opening :) thanks for sharing the concept.
awesome....
I would love to see the signal chain here and what interface you are using on your computer. Awesome sounds and very intriguingly evocative soundscaping! Those arpeggio things towards the end - brilliant!
You can put any pedal you want, fatally, an EBow sounds almost like an EBow.
I don't know if there's any way to improve the design and make it more versatile, but the EBow sure needs it.
@HomoChomsky Adding a momentary pushbutton to jump to harmonic mode would be a nice addition.
Also, another one of these button to go to a higher power to get the string excited quicker, or for heavy strings/bass strings could be a good option.
Never heard of the E2…appears to be amazing value in the used market. I’ve got a Kemper so I’m not sure how much I could use it with that. The Kemper appears to have up to 4 outputs of its own.
These E2s can really put the larger audio interfaces to work.
This left me puzzled and speechless, amazing 🥰🥰
Wow. Fantastic. How about a Chords of Orion Atmos Album?!
That was one of my first pedals (and it's still on one of my boards), I love it but I've yet to hook 4 more amps to it
do it again with the UD Stomp and the Big Sky?
The UD Stomp doesn’t have all the extra outputs though.
The UD and Bigsky combo has always pulled the best stuff from Mr. Vencil.
Splendid, now I’d love to be able to get close with maybe a bunch of vst plugins. Any ideas?
A few instances of Valhalla Delay using the looper presets, adjusted to taste of course. Use Valhalla Supermassive for reverb and it will sound heavenly. I use the combo as much as my pedals depending on what I'm going for.
@@TheGreenKingdom thanks so much for pointing me in the Valhalla direction, not considered them before…
I have one Headrush. Maybe I can get halfway to this.
"Can Normal UA-cam Videos Have Dolby Atmos Audio? As mentioned before, UA-cam doesn’t support Dolby Atmos currently. For now, standard UA-cam videos can only play stereo (2.0 channels) audio." Thanks for the graet idea. I really want to hear it on my home theatre, but my receiver not recognize the Dolby codec from UA-cam, because it not supported. I think it's really the new wave in guitar music - dividing the signal by 4+ channels, but it need another platform to share the music.
I’d love to hear this on Apple Music
I have a (silver) E1 that I used until it died. I have a (blue) E2 that I use to this day. Since it was discontinued long ago, I'll be out of luck when my E2 dies. Where did you find two of these?
Hey Bill! I found the 2 on reverb.com. I think they were between $110 and $130. Something like that...
Now that's proper Christian rock.
I had a twinge selling the Headrush because of the individual tap outs. To my knowledge it’s a unique feature. But I never used it and figured I should be able to get functionally similar results out of the Orville.
Sounds cool but Dolby Atmos can't be experienced on regular stereo headphones.
I was inspired to journey into this music space because of your videos. Just started a UA-cam channel called Exit 222. I have a few demos up right now and interested in your thoughts and others. Any feedback is appreciated. Good or bad. I had quit playing guitar for years and found these videos get me right back into it again. Thank you!
I regretted selling mine. Now I can't find any.
Try doing classical style vibrato, it sounds less annoying
He could do that with the Jamstik and a synth setting. Not sure how it could be done other than the ebow method he has there
