We have visited DB every year (more than 30 years)until the pandemic ,but we will be over for Family Thankgiving,Turkey run and more, and it still feels like we have arrived home at last, and that's the locals that we have to thank Fantastic place .
I agree. The local community there is so nice and friendly. Now that things are getting back to normal, I hope you and your family have a great time in Daytona Beach! Thanks for watching! 😀👍🏻
Thanks for this walk through video. I used to walk from the boardwalk to and beyond Peck Plaza. In short, there's not one aspect about Daytona that I don't like. At 16:32 reminds me of my 1st visit to Daytona back in 1978. As we drove over the ridge I saw the Atlantic for the very first time. After that I've visited Daytona various times and drew over 300 pictures of the entire area from Anastasia Beach, to Ponce Delano inlet. All in full color. And the ride? You'd have to sedate me to put me on that ride.
You’re welcome Luther. I’m glad you enjoyed the video. I agree, the city and the beach are amazing! I wish I had spent more time in Daytona. Hopefully I’ll get to explore more next time I visit. Thanks again for watching 😃👍🏻
You’re welcome, and thank you for watching! Florida is definitely a fun place to visit, especially for families with kids! Stay tuned for more walking tour videos of Florida 😀👍🏻
I Was In Daytona Beach in 2013. My Favorite Part was the Beach Itself. But I Did Some Travel By the Bus System in Volusia County. It Was Pretty Cool. Watching the Dolphins Was Cool along the Bridge.
Hello Michelle Hawkins! I agree, the beach in Daytona is spectacular! I wonder if the city has changed a lot since your last trip in 2013? Can’t wait to visit the Sunshine State again in the near future. Hopefully I’ll be lucky enough to see some dolphins and maybe manatees next time! Thank you for watching and stay tuned for more videos! 😁
I lived in Daytona and lived beachside for 10 years in the very area you were filming you walked right by my streets just off Main it has changed alot since I left in 1989 but Froggys still there Dirty Harrys still there I know Boot Hill is also. new stuff everywhere and the same crappy t shirt shops I spent 6 years working at Hog Heaven and some years at other Restaurants there. Been to most every bar in the entire area and most places to eat. Races bike week now there are 2 spring breaks ect it is never really quiet there but it is nice when it is. Might just have to go Back tired of New York.
I went to Daytona Mainland hi school in1966. I actually saw it being torn down on a trip . Don't know what replaced it. Then many years later, my first grandchild was born there.
Hello Patrick, I didn’t really see vendors in the streets when I was there. It was a weekday when I filmed, so there weren’t that many people around. I’m not sure if things may be a little different on weekends or during high season. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching! 😁👍🏻
Daytona Beach was My home from 76 to 92.
Main street was nothing but Head shops back then. LOL
So much as. Changed
Daytona Beach is a great place to spend a day, a weekend, a week, a month or a lifetime, it never gets old.
I agree. It’s truly a spectacular beach town. Can’t wait to visit again! Thanks for watching 😃👍🏻

That’s interesting! A lot of history in Daytona 😀
Thanks for the video! Are there many street vendors there that are trying to sell tourists stuff?

Wish Daytona had a skywheel like Myrtle Beach eventhough it might have to be put a little inland not to distract the seaturtles.
A skywheel like what they have at Myrtle Beach would be cool.
That’s true! The skywheel at Myrtle Beach does offer a very nice view. It’d be nice if they made one in Daytona as well. Thanks for watching! 😀👍🏻
