Yeah I get why they're doing it a bit but it's just so much invulnerability. Some characters can't be hit at all and some get 1 shot instantly, and are pretty useless in combat because of it. Hella annoying. I rarely see anyone play tracer cause of it- she can't do anything against all the heros not being able to get hit 😂
Imma be real, the game was better when the only invincibility was bap lamp, zen ult and (if you consider it as invincibility) lucio beat. Mei also has that but I hate her. I hate not being able to kill something because of one easy to hit ability like Kiri suzu or LW pull. Also, Illari’s ult is just bs because she’s the only support ult that just kills people. Which makes it different from all the other support ults, who either enable or heal other teammates. Also, we don’t need more heals, there’s too much heals rn, and since there’s too much heals, characters are buffed to get too much damage, which makes people either never die or completely explode. That’s also caused by the fact that there’s one less tank to suck in dmg, which makes people generally less protected. The game wasn’t ready for 5v5 and it still hasn’t come to a healthy equilibrium. There’s like two ways that I can see things going, right now; either dmg, healing and health continue to ramp up infinitely, or dmg and heal get nerfed to a point where you don’t explode and team fights “slowly” grinds health down instead of everything going up and down. I realize now this is kinda just a big rant, sorry. Also, the community doesn’t always know what’s good. Of course, to see what people want, you ask them, but talking about balance, imo, they should look at the high rank player’s opinions more, because it feels like the balance team doesn’t really understand some parts of their game, like how the fact that a character isn’t played doesn’t mean that it’s bad, it could just mean the meta doesn’t favor them. I also hate how they just implements the changes in the main game directly, they should make a special gamemode to test them in advance, because, sometimes they’re objectively bad. Also also (sorry for that, I like separating my ideas a lil, because, otherwise, I forget what I’m talking about) the community doesn’t really hate the new gamemodes or the new maps. People hated push because they were forced to play it a lot when it came out so the devs could get more infos on it. For the 5cp, it kinda does suck, points are captured so fast that it sometime feels like you don’t get a chance. About the new maps, I honestly haven’t really heard much complaints. I see people cry a lot more about Havana and Circuit.

And abilities like life grip, pylons, cleansing, tree of life, petal, absurdly large projectile/hot scan hitboxes all lower the competitive integrity of the game. And this digging ability sounds really bad too

As someone that knows archeologists, the drill is the least realistic thing ever, no archeologist would use a drill. It can break things and is extremely unsafe if you're gonna find historical stuff, even in battle. Idk, I understand the character is more of a treasure hunter, but still.

Uh... no? There's plenty of actual things yo complain about but this isn't one of them. So far we've gotten: - a former Hamada clan member and a yokai member which will probs be important later - a former overwatch member - a junker character - a null sector/talon member - a vishkar agent - a talon member And then Illari, who is the only unaffiliated character added so far. We don't even know if Venture will be a part of overwatch yet. They could be a talon member for all we know. Every other character has been a part of an established faction. Even when OW first released there was Overwatch, Talon, Null Sector in the past, The Hamadas, and The Junkers. Now there's Yokai abd MEKA. Not a big deal.

As someone that knows archeologists, the drill is the least realistic thing ever, no archeologist would use a drill. It can break things and is extremely unsafe if you're gonna find historical stuff, even in battle. Idk, I understand the character is more of a treasure hunter, but still.

We’re literally straying more and more away from the actual og overwatch members each day, every new character just make no sense at all.
Uh... no? There's plenty of actual things yo complain about but this isn't one of them. So far we've gotten:
- a former Hamada clan member and a yokai member which will probs be important later
- a former overwatch member
- a junker character
- a null sector/talon member
- a vishkar agent
- a talon member
And then Illari, who is the only unaffiliated character added so far. We don't even know if Venture will be a part of overwatch yet. They could be a talon member for all we know. Every other character has been a part of an established faction. Even when OW first released there was Overwatch, Talon, Null Sector in the past, The Hamadas, and The Junkers. Now there's Yokai abd MEKA. Not a big deal.
