Really addressing an issue here, I love it. We get older and the manufacturers want to make things EVEN SMALLER. lol I think most people that have a radio they can hook a monitor won't go back. Monitors for everyone! :)
Congrats to Gary and the TEAM at ML&S they are doing a GREAT job and grea videos, was very happy to join them last december and be able to help with the video! Do know that WE ARE THERE to support them if they need it! 73 Richard VE2DX
I hope that your company is working on interfaces for the older Yeasu radios. I hope that someday the technology will allow us to see bandscope through HDMI on large screens. Thank you for your work on these enhancements.
Wow, in the next year I'll finally in the market for a 705, so I'm really excited for the HDMI interface! Wish you'd gone through and showed the modes and shown a needle display
yes, the HDMI interface can interface to the radio in 4 different ways, Bluetooth for 705, ID52, ID5100 (with bluetooth option!), CI-V ports for any radios supporting CI-V remote port (756ProIII to 9700), USBoIP for radios with USB- CIV like 7200, 7300, 705 and 9700, and soon CIVoIP for radios with LAN or WIFI like 9700 and 705.
the bluetooth radio inside ct17-6bt is it a multipoint type? Is possible to conect two IC-705 by bluetooth to a ci -V port host device like a S.A.T. ham sat tracker?.Thanks in advance 73's from EA1-IFD.

Thanks for your input
Great work Rich!
I can see this to be very useful for commercial applications. Simple interfaces but very useful, specially the antenna switch.
Gotta love the M5Stack. Very versatile little unit.
I have the small meter and use it with the 705. It is great. Richard VE2DX is very helpful.
Thanks nice to hear from you!
Is the antenna switch a single pole switch or double pole switch? (Switch both the centre conductor and the shield)

Well the 705 is NOT the only radio supported! we support over 20 different icom (for now :D ) radios from the 7000/756ProIII to the 905
Can you get a Battery for the
VE2DX ICOM 2-inch METER
Yes they are available
Question, will this enable an ic705 to now control an xpa125b and change the bands on the linear automatically ?
Not at this time ;P am actualy looking at that this year!
DX .... is there an option to Utilize the CAT port then via HMDI ????

That's a nice collection of useful tools there. The ham radio utility belt.
thanks.
