[Fortnite Rocket Racing] Dust Up 2 Previous World Record

With a change of boost strategy and some drifting at the beginning to help get an extra set of double pads, I was able to beat the previous record by over a second and a half. This time is 100% beatable if you are able to hit more of the vertical double pads then I did in this run, but everything else must also be done pretty clean. I wish the best of luck to anyone who wants to chase after this record.
There is an argument to be had whether this route is ranked viable. On one hand it did give me a faster time, but since we don't have 2 boosts for the ending, its hard to say if its really worth using a boost at the end of lap 2. It might best to carefully judge who your going against, and then decide at the start of the race which strategy may be best for you to go for. If catchup is reverted back to how it was before this previous update, then I would have to say the two boost and the end strategy is 100% the way to go in ranked.

I've run Dust Up 2 maybe a hundred or more times, and if I'm going too fast, I never get that 2nd Speed Pad on the 3rd Double on the wall to get up to 1400 kph, even when maining Stocktane. I bet the extra +400 kph you could get on a 100% Boost perfect run could achieve sub 02. Excellent run!

the way you went up the wall at the start is how ive been doing it for like a month but cuz i suck couldnt get near wr time. glad to know it is actually better to do and i didnt waste my time doing it all those times

How do you do the midair roll in order to cling to the ceiling, walls, etc. Without losing speed? Everytime i do it the spedometer goes red for a split second and i lose speed.

The only thing I could think of is that your getting to close to the surface your trying to cling to, and if you are to close when you air dodge, then your car will have a hard impact on that surface and lose you speed. Otherwise I have no idea why you always lose speed when clinging to surfaces, sorry

try a public match here you can actually get hit but gg
