That hockey coach, for the record, was played by Don Cherry, a Canadian hockey coach/commentator and national celebrity famous for being very difficult to censor. The long and short of it is that, if you're familiar with the guy at all, Jon's joke that he ignored his script and ad-libbed for five minutes or so is probably not that far off at all.
The choose your own scare about the amusement park was also my favorite I specifically remember the slide and one of the paths was you just slid forever till you died of dehydration i guess
What bothered me about, "Don't Go to Sleep" is the moral didn't make sense. The kid didn't want to be the center of attention. He wanted to be given privileges like his siblings, but didn't because of his age. The want, need, and the means make no sense.
I like Slappy its just he replaced the original mascot of Goosebumps, Curly the Skeleton, what made him cool was that he was a face that never had a goosebumps story and I always wanted there to be a story all about him
this is Halloween! This is Halloween! Halloween! Hallowe-- *I T ' S A U G U S T* seriously, though, the JonTron reactions are great. I think this is one of his best, although my Goosebumps bias may be getting in the way! Gotta love My Hairiest Adventure a.k.a. Puberty: The Book: The Episode
The Say Cheese and Die books were my favourites of the Goosebumps series, though once I hit around 14-15 I started preferring R.L Stine's Fear Street series. More serial killer and less supernatural.
A good half decade ago, I had one of the choose-your-own-path books involving Time Police. To this day, I still haven't finished all the alternative endings.
The second haunted mask is scarier cause it's more Existintial dread instead of horror. Dying is scary and the mask made it so that he was pretty much dying from old age.
There was a reading program like that in my school that made us take tests in order to be allowed to read other books but since I struggled with how tests were done I never completed the test and was never allowed past a 4th grade reading level and I still struggle with reading because I have an overwhelming sense of dread from it that's Impossible to get past
Scary Stories to Tell in The Dark fucked me up as a kid, I read that book when I was in 8th grade. That book wired me until like 5 in the morning which wasn't normal for me at the time and I kept replaying Cold as Clay and surprisingly Forigners Cold As Ice in my head nonstop the whole night.
As a kid I think I loved the goosebumps brand more than the books itself because....... I hated to read. I loved horror themed everything. And I did read a few of the books and thought they were fine. I loved the ones where you choose your own adventure. The show... as a kid it was perfect but I watched them because I was curious about old shows I grew up on. Yeah they are pretty goofy
That Dracula story reminds me so much of how fucking boring Elementary School was ¬¬ We *had* to read these stupid ass books that were *meant* to be Brazilian literature classics, but were actually very, *very* dumbed down versions of them; they were boring af, so I grew used to just reading the real books and of course that'd keep me safe for tests, but I got screwed when I was in 4th grade because the questionnaire about "O Guarani" asked about the hero's plan to deal with an army of attacking cannibals, and I put the real answer of the book: he drank poison and was gonna give himself to be eaten by the cannibal tribe so his friends and family could flee the area while the others were distracted and dying... Well I was too stupid back then to realize that OF COURSE something like that would be censored the fuck down on the 100 pages kiddy version my school gave us, so I got into a lot of trouble for that and for "not reading required material" (sure ¬¬). Around that same time I started studying English and my English school's library had pretty much *no* restrictions, so I pretty much gave up on literature from my own country and just jumped into reading English and American books because at least there I wasn't getting punished for it; what made me think of it was that the 4th book I got was Dracula, read it after I finished rereading Lord of the Rings in the original ^^ I completely agree with the idea, "no kid left behind" might be a nice sentiment on paper and all but when it gets to the point of actively punishing a child for liking to read, it's just downright retarded.
I don't know if they still hold up, but the only books I liked to read (even now that I'm an English teacher) in school were horror stories written by Paul Zindel, in middle school.
My favorite duo, African American man named Andre White and Caucasian man named Henry Black. A perfect foil of each other. Ones serious and the other ones a bit silly.
Yea I watched Are You Afraid of the Dark when it came on but by that time I was 10 in 1990 and was also watching Tales from the Crypt as well so it already seemed tame. Goosebumps was super weak sauce by the time I saw it.
Bit of a 50 second lull at the start there, guys. Weren't you boys feeling to good??? Ah. Goosebumps. I even had to read some of these as a kid growing up back in school. Dang it. Now i feel old. Thanks. Lol JK
They didn't make an episode on Night of the Living Dummy; it was actually Bride of the Living Dummy from Goosebumps 2000. It makes me sad. On another note, I personally liked both movies, but the second movie was disappointing. I wanted Slappy to PG every human character to death in the sequel. My favorite part of both was the monsters. I love the monsters more than the human characters.
Ok, I'm gonna say this: Don't Fall Asleep, the episode, butchered the book! I've owned that book, Monster Blood 2 and Attack of the Mutant for years and i am still angry what they did to this book! You see, each time the kid went to sleep, his life was different. First, it was the same, but it was better than normal. Than he was younger, than living at the circus as a carni, than he was old, a monster and then a squirrel. I know some of these were impossible to do, but how they screwed it up was annoying!
I saw it before it was taken down. they hit you because youre a smaller channel. I dont know about taking part 2 down only. Ive noticed that with old pirated movie uploads a lot of times you could only see the first part and the rest would be gone.
The covers were enough to put me off as a kid. One day near halloween, my class was gonna show goosebumps to the class, amd I threw a crying fit and my mom had to take me home. I was a wimp. Now they're just boring to me. I prefer suspense like the twilight zone.

Jon: Hey everyone isn't it just a beautiful feeling!
Taxi driver: Back away asshole!
I wonder what's worse NY traffic or LA traffic.
I think it's the people in the traffic. XD
I think they both suck, equally. (Coming from someone who lives between the Twin Cities in MN, I know bad traffic/bad drivers)
NY for sure
Yes
Sorry I'm Australian i don't have a say in this
The mom in “don’t go to sleep” has the can I speak to your manager haircut so she is definitely a Karen

"The Cuckoo Clock of Doom" made me wonder if R.L. Stine had a sibling he REALLY didn't like due to the mean spiritedness of the ending.

There is alot of older brother , sisters or bullied kids bullying the main character

Interesting for part 2 having issues, I had no trouble seeing them in Canada.
Renagade media you know there is a double feature someone did of jontrons goosebumps videos. Maybe you could use that to watch the second video.
We did and we will post it on here before too long.

The mask without a doubt
One where a drowned guy visits his girlfriend and watches her from the window. I don't remember the name
One of the choose your own Goosebumps, the Wicked Wax Museum.
Hey Nate, you forgot to put the link to the 'original video' in the description. I'm not sure if that was accidental or intentional
