I seem to be hearing mixed reports about Zach Wilson, some say his arm is standing out compared to the others while others saying he looks worse. Wonder why we’re hearing conflicting reports.
Because many have a negative mindset against Wilson, planted in their minds by the significant NY media. All he needs is adequate protection.
His arm can look good while still missing throws
It's not conflicting reports. There's a different between him having a stronger arm and actually playing better than the other qbs
To only pick one it has to be Bo Nix. But other than him on offense should be Mims, defense is difficult but it could be Locke (hopefully Ellis). Now that we have had two QBs named Wilson BTB, I am not sure which is a better option. Interesting question. Zack has a better arm than Russ but has thrown more interceptions.

Bo Nix is the favorite because they drafted him in first round. He has an average arm. If Wilson can get with a good OC and Offense head coach he could be an all-pro. Bo Nix will start. Zach Wilson backup, and Stidham #3.

@@glockmaster9516 I don’t expect much from Russ, but to be fair the Steelers are a lot further ahead in their rebuild and Russ is a proven QB despite his downfall w the Broncos. Stidham, Zack and Nix are all unproven and very much handicapped by a rebuilding roster.
I imagine you’ll heavily rely on the run game this season. I do like Stidham tho.

He’s never played a single down in the big leagues… of course he’s talented and has more potential but it’s very rare a rookie qb comes out and balls year 1. CJ stroud is a rare thing and Nix was the 6th qb taken for a reason if we want to be honest. He’s a much older player who ceiling isn’t as high as the others taken before him (subjectively speaking). I’m sure he’ll be good but I wouldn’t set the expectations too high to start.
