Thank you so much for the footage! I used to live in Liberia from 1969-1979. Beautiful country especially outside of the capitol and you’ll experience true rainforest like no other. Thanks again, greetings from Riverside California, stay safe.
Thank you for watching and we are so happy you enjoyed! Liberia is by far one of the most special countries we've ever visited. The people are remarkable and the country is gorgeous! So amazing that you lived there! Have you been back since 1979? I bet it's changed quite a bit!
I love Liberia!!! My husband is from there and still there! Have been there three different times and can't wait to go back!!! Everything you said about Liberia is true! Liberians love Americans and most are very warm and caring people! Love the video!!!

Liberia 😱 really interesting video! I've never watched a video about this country, thanks for it
Thank you so much!! We had such a wonderful time in Liberia! In case you missed the other 3 videos we filmed while we were there, make sure you check them out!
I was a teenager in Liberia when the dukcor hotel was in action and operating. It was absolutely beautiful. Fancy five star and the best rib eye steak I've ever had. Hung out at the pool most weekends. I've attended balls and ceremonies there. My prom was there. I'll never forget. I have one of their pamplets packed away somewhere.
Wow! It is so amazing to hear stories like this -- sounds like a pretty remarkable place! I can't believe you had your proms there, wow! Thank you so much for sharing! I hope our video helped bring back some fond memories :)

Please take it easy on the Liberian chilly pepper. Liberia has some of the hottest chilly pepper in West Africa. If you eat too much, it acts like natural laxative. Lol Another UA-camr called Wode Maya learned his lesson from eating too much Liberian chilly pepper even though he likes spicy food in his country Ghana.
hehe!! That's so funny! Safe to say, Nick regretted his quantity of Liberian chilly pepper this day haha! Will need to go check out Wode Maya, hehe! Thank you for the recommendation and thanks for watching!
Thanks for sharing your experience in Liberia. Hopefully you can teach me a little about my country that I left as a teen. I'm waiting for Flights to resume to visit. Liberia is a beautiful country from the pictures and videos that I've seen. I left Liberia at age 11 but she has always been home.♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️🇱🇷🇱🇷
Traveling is an education. Go and see places around the world. The more you travel the less racist you become. We all need the same thing in life, a peaceful environment
Thanks so much for watching! We love traveling and can't wait to get back on the road hopefully in the near future. Totally agree - travel is an amazing form of education!
Thank you for watching! We loved Liberia so much and can't wait to go back! If you haven't already, make sure to check out the rest of our Liberia series where we learn to cook local cuisine and spend time in a rural village! ua-cam.com/play/PLYvsWZwj1ldgKS6it7PkrkA7UsK5jE1N4.html Thanks again!

Thank you so much! We loved Liberia and every moment we spent there. One of our absolute FAVORITE places in the world!! I LOVE the Liberian name question hahah! What do you think our Liberian names should be!? Lol!!
Gio Names Suah is a boy's name. The name comes from Liberia, West Africa and it belongs to the dialect of Gio. The name "Suah" means "A new era, a new beginning" Your wife name is Dehcontee." Pronounced The -Con - Tee. It means "everything got time, in my native Krahn language ." There came a time in your life you had to make a daring change by walking away from your job and leaving your friends and family behind. And embarked on this new journey to travel the world. Lol Don't ask me how I came up with these names. 🤣. I figured since the krahn and Gio didn't get along doing the Liberian Civil War but are inseparable or intermarried, this would be a prefect name for you and your wife. Good luck with everything..
