Tara, I wanted to thank you for posting the link for the doodlebug like washi from Aliexpress. I ordered 3 different 12 packs and I am so happy with it! It is very high quality, beautiful colors, so much tape on each roll, only $6.99 for 12 rolls, and it arrived in 10 days! It never came up when I was searching the app for washi so I never would have found it without your link. Thank you!!!
I actually watched this 2 times I loved it so much lol.... I don't have a die cut machine any ideas on what I do to get the same effect without one? Also was it a special place you bought the marker? By far chance do you know If so is there a similar version sold at Micheals or AC Moore? that's all I have near me .... I can't wait to try this I want to make these for some people that gave me all I have craft wise by their destashes :)
+Ethnic Green Living Awww Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it. To create the window for your shaker card, you could use punches. There are many punches that will cut a large shape to give you a nice size window. Look for XL punches at your craft store, they will work perfectly. The decocolor pens were purchased at Walmart for a little less than $4, you should be able to find them in the art aisle where the sharpie paint pens are. They do have them at Michaels but they are more expensive so use a coupon. Hope that helps!
Love these cards and your creativity. Im inspired everytime I create to be as organized to make my creations and my videos as you. With your tutorials, I will get exactly where I want to be on this You-tube platform. thank you so much for your time, talent and sharing.
I love ANYTHING shaker related! I use your laminated shaker idea often, and I use die cuts to cut out the shapes from the cellophane bags so that I can make banner shakers!
Love the cards you made and Thanks for the tutorial!! The pineapples are soo pretty and sparkly with the stickles. Will definitely be trying this. TFS Sheryl
I have watched a lot of videos on cards but your shaker cards are a cut above the rest. I love the shiney bling and sparkly details you give your cards. I don't know if I can master what you do but one thing I love is the big hello die cut in gold and silver. Can you tell me what kind of paper you used for that? Your sequens are beautiful. When I look for sequens at the stores around where I live they are not that pretty. This can be a very expensive hobby. My husbands going to divorce me if I don't quit buying stuff. Lol! I would love to see you make one of these cards. This is so addictive. Lol!
Those are so beautiful!!!! You are so talented when it comes to picking out what goes with what and where, so your cards are amazing, I've never made one, or received a handmade card so I didn't have any idea that you could buy the card and envelopes blank. I also had never realized that you glued the card on front either, I have so much to learn and an awesome teacher. Thanks you so much for sharing with me. Take care and lots of love.
+Cheryl Tibbit Thank you so much! I'm glad you are finding my videos helpful. Attaching the card to the envelope is something I like to do, it's not really the traditional way of card making but I like to do things a little different from time to time, Lol! Tfw!
All so super cute! I'm lovin' the pineapple paper, washi and stamps! Love that Hello stamp too! You sure know how to mix those sequins! I tend to change my mind and find myself fishing out some sequins! No fun! LOL! tfs...Hugs, Christine
+shabbypinkhouse Thank you so much Christine! You're not alone I do the same when creating my sequin mixes. I do mix them up in a small cup first to ensure I like the mix, but I too at times have to fish out a color that doesn't work. Thanks for stopping by my friend, Big hugs!
Fabulous, fun and phenomenal for making in bulk. Oh I've got to hunt for that gold pen! You make it all look so easy. Love this! TFS and inspiring! Big hugs, Kristina
Your cards are gorgeous!!! And I love the decoration on the envelope too. Your sequin mixes are beautiful I have to work on mine. I love how you line your edges in gold, stunning. You are so talented.
Once again you did a great job!! I'm going to give it a try. You mention that hello die cut was from the Crafters Workshop, i used to frequent their store in upstate NY, when i lived in NYC. Lovely store great people. Thanks
Fabulous colors! Nice and shiny. It just pops. I love the die cuts also. I always wanted the Heidi swap collection word dies. I did get some of the Christmas words but it would be nice to find the thank you, and hello script words. I have not seen them locally. I think I saw it on amazon not sure if it is a good price. Tfs Sheshe
Joann's doesn't carry those locally any more. I could probably cut out the Hello with my slice machine. I need to start looking at my stash and just use what I have. Thanks for letting me know.
OMG Tara you are so amazing!!! Love the color combinations. These cards are gorgeous! Question, in the video you show two packages with frame looking things I believe you called them dye cuts? Do you have a video how to use them? Do you need a special machine? Also the red strip glue is that at Michaels? Thanks for your time and share love your work!
+Oranit Mayer Thank you so much! As for your questions, yes you need a die cutting machine (I have a Sizzix Big Shot)in order to use the dies, the ones I showed are from Spellbinders and they are nesting dies, but dies come in many shapes and forms. I found this video that may help you out: ua-cam.com/video/8jmf7in47Xo/v-deo.html Yes, you can find he redline tape at Michaels but I find it cheaper to purchase online, here is where I get mine: www.thestickystuffstore.com/ Hope that helps, Tfw!
You are so creative. I love these shaker cards. I have followed your other work as well and wish I could do what you do. I wish I could learn to do these and be as creative. Thank you for sharing.
+benita everett Thank you so much, you are too sweet! I share my projects to hopefully inspire and motivate others because you CAN be creative. Thank You for your reply. You are the sweet one. No, I wouldn't want to copy your work even though your crafts are beautiful. I am going to attempt at doing some of these projects. Hopefully I will impress myself.
+benita everett I'm sure you will, when crafting and playing with different ideas you'd be surprised what you come up with. Not everything works out as we see them in our head but at times that sparks something else we didn't imagine. Have fun playing!
They are fantastic!! I love your shaker cards, they are so neat. Thanks for sharing what you used, I need to get to joanns to get the self sealing bags. Your cards are always so pretty.
Your shaker cards are AWESOME! Love the way you outlined things in gold and also decorated the envelope! May I ask where you bought the gold paper that you used for your die cuts? Thanks for sharing your talent! Hugs, Sandy
I know it was.. They are just so beautiful to look at =) I would hoard those!! LOL i couldn't give them to anybody if i made them. But then again all your work is awesome..

Hi Tara, how are you doing??? See I was hoping you would use that sequins with that pineapple paper because it did go perfect!!!🍍🍍🍍I want that stamp, I haven't seen that at Michaels nor have I seen the Flamingo one. I love your tutorials!!! I need this paper pad. Thanks for sharing this with us. 👍👍👏👏👏

Thanks for taking the time to share your talent with us! --Liz
Hi Tara....love watching your vids. You seem like the kind of gal I like being around. I have a question...... I notice you use washy tape a lot! Every time I use it, it doesn't stick well, at all. Do you reinforce it with other glue or what?
Awesome cards, Tara. As always, your creations are beautiful. The pineapples are so pretty and also love the washi. Thank you for sharing the tutorial. TFS, Carolyn :)

Hi NurseTara04 I just found you not to long ago and have been enjoying watching these wonderful creations you make. They are beautiful. I do have a question on your paint pen. I did purchase some and was wondering how you make the paint line so perfect around especially the window in the middle that has all the different groves and so forth? I didn't try it yet so maybe I will be able to answer my own question but it kind of looks difficult. Thank you ....Blessings!
I am so Happy Pineapples are in. I Love Pineapple decor. I think everyone should have a pineapple in their home. They just make me happy. Lol. You know I am going to try this. Tfs

Tfs
+Glue Paper Scissors I'm loving the pineapples too!! I hope you do give them a try, Tfw!
Thankyou for your great tutorial they are so pretty just got to work out how to do the window as I haven't got a die cutter yet think I might have some cards with windows in may be that will work. going to try this morning Thank you love from England.
+Helen Wyles Thank you so much! You can always try cutting the window by hand or using a large punch. TfW!
