I remember watching this as a kid and thinking it was amazing. I think they split it over Palm Sunday and Easter, but I may be wrong. It was amazing especially because it was filmed in the Holy Land, and the scenes and scenery really drew you in, plus the great acting, etc. A fantastic movie.

This Easter I hope everyone will truly think about how serious sin is. So serious that the Lord came and died that excruciating death on the cross for us. We should no longer yearn for and enjoy our sin. We should be disgusted by sin and flee from it in obedience to The Lord Jesus Christ ❤
You are right, my friend. But there are four levels or layers to evil, and this is being made more clear than ever to us in the awful 2020s. The first layer is the great superficial allure of some sins that people do not even see as sins ("everybody does it") The second layer is of lies. The third layer is of chaos. The fourth layer is the evil that everybody thinks of - from which they believe themselves to be quite safe!
I have watched this movie since childhood. I watch this movie every Holy Week and it is such an amazing movie that portrays Jesus and His Final Days. This playlist completely reflects on Jesus in the movie and the atmosphere of it.
