Considering this song is about a friend of Korey's who had cancer, the choice to have Jen sing an entire verse makes it so much better. To me, it's like Jen's voice is representing Korey's friend. That and the fact that it's also another absolute masterpiece like the Reimagined version of Save Me.

I always love to read and hear about all of the people that Skillet has positively influenced over the years, and still does...such an instrument for truth that would be void without Skillet.

I love the original but wow that's so beautiful!!! I love skillet I listen to them day night everytime and on my way to school when my grandpa passed away there songs were the only thing that cheered me up. So thank you skillet
I love this song song so much! I had backslid when I was in high school and was having horrible headaches for 4 or 5 years and one day I had a seizure and was put in the hospital, because my headaches turned to seizures (having them daily). And one day I just feel a presence of what now I know was the Holy Spirit and he basically asked for me to come back to him...to “reach for me”. That was almost ten years ago and I haven’t looked back.
