My first experience with Chris was him at a songwriter's convention where he performed the song "Whiskey and You". I remember thinking "How does this guy not have his own record deal?". I was blown away with his voice.
@@killatella90 my goodness how lucky / fortunate you are to have that experience though. It would be amazing to have seen his progress and journey like that.
I'm 62 years old. Every girl I dated including my wife of 39 yrs had "our song". The song writing in this piece is brilliant! Music informs so many different emotions and memories.
My wife & some friends went to highschool with Chris. And we live in his hometown of Paintsville Ky. I've never met him but I've never heard a bad word about him from anyone , anywhere. He seems to be as much a genuinely good guy and person as he is a singer and performer.
Saw him in Virginia Beach a few years ago, he did a 22-song set and IT WAS GOOD, VERY GOOD! His wife, Morgane, got the loudest ovation during the band introductions. Chris keeps her stage-front, right where she belongs. Some "Must-Listen" suggestions: Either Way/I Was Wrong/ Amanda/Fire Away/ Death Row/ Sometimes I Cry/ Fool Me Again, and Whiskey and You. Amanda is a great song that highlights Morgane's sweet background vocals. Great reaction, TY.
Howdy Alison, I found you and subbed back when you reacted to Cold. You are correct, It's NOT just women. Some more amazing Chris performances are Chris Stapleton, Dua Lipa - Think I’m In Love With You (Live From The 59th ACM Awards), Chris Stapleton - "Nothing Else Matters", Chris Stapleton - I Was Wrong (Austin City Limits Performance), Chris Stapleton - Death Row (Official Audio), Chris Stapleton - Fire Away (Official Music Video), Chris Stapleton tribute to Prince by singing LIVE "Nothing Compares to You", H.E.R., Chris Stapleton - Hold On (2021 CMT Music Awards), Chris Stapleton Performs “Parachute” at 2016 CMT Music Awards, Chris Stapleton - "It's a Man's Man's Man's World" w/ The Shadowboxers, 'Tell Me When It's Over' by Sheryl Crow & Chris Stapleton, Chris Stapleton - Sometimes I Cry (Bing Lounge), Santana, Chris Stapleton - Joy (Official Music Video). Hope you get a chance to check these out, Your playlist awaits.
You would be the perfect person to react to Tom Waits' "Chocolate Jesus," live on Letterman. I believe you'd never forget the performance, and I'd love to see and hear your response to it.
There's only three singers I am willing to pay over $100 a ticket for. Chris Stapelton, Jamie Johnson and Allison Krause. Try Fire Away by Chris, Lead Me Home by Jamie, and The Lucky One by Allison
I paid over $100 last year to see an 81 year old Paul McCartney do a three hour non-stop show. I've been to a lot of concerts and that was hands down the best I've been to. Saying that, I would love to get to see Chris Stapleton one day.
#GabrielHenrique Alison! I want to introduce you to a new artist. He is very talented. His name is Gabriel Henrique. In his voice, you can check out one of my suggestions, according to your preference. look: I HAVE NOTTED I DON'T WANT TO MISS A THING MY ALL ALL BY MY SELF THE GREATEST LOVE OF ALL MY HEART YOU GO ON I YOU ALWAYS LOVE YOU EARTH SONG WHEN WE WERE YOUNG....
Way too much stop go rewind and babbling! I got to 11:55 and had to tap out! I can see why your channel is not doing so well, of others who aren't in love with there own voice!
For a channel that’s been active for only a year it’s actually doing a lot better than many other channels. Not often does one get to almost 30k in a year 🤷🏻♀️ The link to the original video is there if you’d prefer to watch it without intervals
That’s over 2100 subs a month and for someone who only posts maybe once every week and sometimes once a fortnight? Not too shabby. But thanks for your input
@@AlisonReacts More bloviating about something that is just not true! It is very easy to check the Stats on youtube channels, and how much revenue they generate! You are NOT even close to the lower tier channels!
Lmao dude it isn’t about making money for me, it’s a hobby that’s become about 10 times more successful than I even expected it to be in the first place - and that’s since July last year. 😂 what’s wild to me is that it takes so much more effort to go down into the comments, write a negative comment, and then continue to follow it all up, when if you didn’t care for the video you could have (with muuuuch less effort) just clicked ‘exit’ or ‘back’. Energy and negativity that you probably could have put into starting your own very successful channel - but thank you for directing it towards me hahah
Lara had a #1 pop dance hit that sat at the top of the US charts for like a year in the early 90s, “I will love again”. Also on this song in particular Josh Groban covered it in the US and had a massive hit with it. That maybe where some of your familiarity comes from.
Absolutely generational and my favorite artist. The blues at it's best. You feel it deep into your soul.

Well music provides an avenue to expresses yourself, even if I am not talented. Chris is the epitome of expressing emotion through voice.
His voice, his songs and him the man has crossed all genres of music and culture.
I am a straight man who has no shame in saying I have a man crush on Chris Stapleton.
such an amazing talent ...love everything he does ....
Im seeing him in concert August 21st. So excited. Enjoy your reaction.

“Whiskey and You” is a lyrical masterpiece
His voice is like honey on gravel.

You forgot one of my favourites of his, the cover of Elton John's I Want Love that he does for the Elton John tribute album.
Subed for more Chris Stapleton!
If I had a girlfriend or a wife and she cheated on me with Chris Stapleton I would high five and give her a hug
