And really let this sink in: there are only 3 main dancers in this group who actually studied the art of dance and have a huge passion for it. The other four just have to keep up and make sure that their moves are clean. THAT'S unheard of considering how crisp their choreos come out. Also consider the fact that they have to sing/rap on stage with steady voices while doing all this dancing. Pure. Talent. They also produce, write, and compose a good 95% of their discography which is remarkable in this specific music industry and for an artist general. You should honestly do some more research on these guys because they're on the come up doing big things-- they broke records on UA-cam and the Billboard charts, and they're having a world tour and sold out all of their U.S dates (5 dates, 3 venues, 18,000 seats each 😱)!!! They out here making history, man.

ARMY loves them for their talent, yes, but also for their personalities, their passion, and their meaningful lyrics - which stand up against suicide, the strict Korean school system, mental deterioration, sexism, and more. They look really cool, but are actually a bunch of dorks which makes them even more relatable. They don't care much about their "idol image". Actually, there are many talented groups out there (EXO, BIGBANG, Mamamoo, BLACKPINK, Seventeen, GOT7...). I can't list them all, but KPOP knows what it's doing so please check it out more sometime. to answer one of your questions: they have a big fanbase because they're one of the few groups out there who produce their own songs, they are talented singers, rappers and one of the best dancers *BUT* the real reason we stan them is because in the beginning they were the underdogs of this kpop industry, they had to crawl up slowly and just with their talents, blood, sweat and tears (pun intended); the majority of them don't live in Seoul (where the company is) so they had to leave their families and homes at a young age to achieve their dreams; they suffered but they stayed strong and now are one of the most popular groups, we stan them because in spite of all of this they still stayed humble, they talk to their fans and encourage them, it's honestly a beautiful relationship between singers/supporters.

In a concert they can be dancing like 25 choreos and in so many interviews or fan vids you can see the dedication and hardwork they've put into their stages. I liked this choreo so much that I did my best learning it through youtube tutorials and watching their practice over and over again. It took me a whole week just to know all the steps (four or five were for the chorus) and a whole month to reduce the mistakes to a point where I would say it's okay (I'm not a dancer, I never learnt anything and I only did it for fun) There were days where I would practice for four hours or more. Last week-end I spontanously decideded to perform this choreo at a small (reeeaaally small) festival in our village and for that I repeated the whole dance five times a day and it got me tired as sh*t though I didn't even put all my energy into it. In the actual performance I gave everything I had since it doesn't look good when I don't do that and when there came the chorus for the third time my thights were so tired that I wondered if I would be able to finish off nicely but since the small audience of probably 100 to 200 people really enjoyed the whole thing I was so motivated that I also gave everything I had for the last part. But honestly I would never even dare to compare me to them and when you don't have an audience that cheers for you and supports you it is so hard to gather enough energy since you need to give 150% (if you don't give at least that much it won't look good, only BTS could make it look good without putting all their energy into it xD)
for me i like bts bec they write and produce they own songs and their lyrics are so good and i'm talking about the side tracks beside the main ones they talked about society,youth and what comes with them,motivational songs and they even writing about their personal stories in a way you can relate to them , that's beside dancing (they are one of a kind)

Well they sing live and dance at the same time. So imagine their 2,5h concert :P And they usually do like 3 concerts in 3 days in a row in Korea:P And then more all over Asia, and both Americas. Still they their lives are amazing. They have a big fanbase bc of dancing, writing their own music and generally being the nicest and funniest people you would see in your life :P Enjoyed the reaction.
