Hello Niko. Im also a BIM manager or whatever you want to call it. I made a toolbar with own tools and dynamo scripts and ython scripts for automating the workflow of over 40 engineers. Currently learning to work with the API in C # to make an addin to manage the oackages andupdated scripts etc more easily. I like this list but DiRoots is missing. Try it out and let me kniw. It makes exporting views sheets models etc so much more flexible. Further more it has a sheet building, importing and exporting of families using a manager and so much more. Let me know if this is the new nr1
Question: once at work I had to change all room tags one by one. My question is, do you have a tutorial on how to aply dynamo to Revit room tags changing them automatticaly using dynamo/scripting?
my first would be....what about the VRAY for revit? and the second would be....or is there any scheduling software plug in for Project management and construction management? (i guess navisworks does it?)
In my opinion lumion is the way to go over vray. For project management there is the good old excel to make the planning. Material cost you can do in Revit giving values in material cost and labour, but I prefer not to use that to much do to keeping changes in prices. I used program Estimate but in the end it took me more time updating it and having the change of miscalculations
Thank you for your comment. Autodesk model checker, pyrevit, grevit, nawiswork and python shell this is all management staff what I’m using every day. Here not any modeling plugins) anyway as I said you can write your own top of plugins for Revit)

It depends what you do for work, many plugin tools everywhere, for example classification manager BIM interoperability tools, COBIE, Hot gear, Revitzo, Bimcollab, 3D Repo, Dynamo, Rhino, Speckle, vray, enscape,magicad...and lot more
The latest Unreal engine will not import DataSmith files (the import datamith plugin icon does not appear). Signed up and everything (there is no more 'beta'). Lost 3 hours )-:

The official site says Unreal Engine is a free app. For Game developers though...How about if one uses it for rendering?
all commercial usage is free, of course, if your profit not more than 100000$ per year)
