Four statues (female allegories) of Σοφία (Sophia), Ἀρετή (Aretē), Ἔννοια (Ennoia), and Ἐπιστήμη (Epistēmē): the Greek words for Wisdom, Bravery (Valour or Virtue), Thought (Intelligence or Concept), and Knowledge (today: Science). Library of Celsus in the ancient Greek city of Ephesus, Asia Minor.

It is the Roman era, not Greek and the library is a Roman construction…

@@gerasgeorg5974 nope it is an ancient Hittite city, then the capital of Arzawan kingdom. After a short period of Persian rule, Greek colonists arrived in 6th c. BC. The Romans took over in 1st c. BC. It is a multi layered city. The present day ruins are from Roman era. You can not change the history.

@@nesligursen4349 No no, you cannot change history, in order to bury the Greek foundation and historic course of Ephesus and other ancient Greek cities of Asia Minor and focus on the Hettites and the Romans only... Ephesus was an ancient Greek colony of Ionia and was built in the 10th century b.C. by Androklos the Athenian. Later, other empires like the Persian, the Roman, the Byzantine (Eastern Roman) etc. conquered the cities of this area, of course.

@@nesligursen4349 When the Roman Empire moved its capital to Constantinople, Greece and the Roman Empire became one, and now Greece is the direct successor of the Roman Empire. Rome is Greece, and Greece is Rome
