But I'm personally dreaming of next year's annual celebration of our decisive victory over King George. Next year we will have voted NO on autocracy, greed, idolatry, and the fear, rejection, and hatred of those "huddled masses, yearning to breathe free."
Next year at this time, there will not have been mass detention and deportation of millions of undocumented immigrants, there will not have been a purge of trens of thousands of "the unfaithful" from civil service; nor will there have been any utilization of "Presidential Immunity" to destroy opposition to Project 2025.
"Right. Project 2025--I remember that. Can you believe they said the quiet part out loud?"
No. I predict that his time next year, we will have put this demented fatal attraction to fascism and its awful stain on our demnocracy behind us, and will be revitalizing the original concept.
