Thanks Josh. For the most part I think the silver community is a decent bunch of guys (and gals) but I feel the need to "preach" every so often to balance out my "preppin"
It bothers people when you do not live according to their, less than lofty, standards. They will try to get you to cross the lines you place on conduct or behavior because they have no lines for themselves and you will appear to be "holier than thou" to them for no other reason than you have a conscience and a will to follow it. I admire your stance on such issues and find it encouraging to see men like you living the life of a person who knows their will be an accountability when this short life passes. All those who believe in Jesus as their Savior are forgiven for sin - and not because of anything they have done - only because of what He did for all of us on a Cross. Keep on the right side of your lines HP.
I actually thought the story was going to lead to you talking about how you and your brother went to a strip club. You sound like an intellectual and a person who has preserved his moral values. thanks for sharing the story
Nice Positive message. Thanks for sharing. I've made my way into a strip joint or two when I was younger, but hardly worth it. My dollars have more purpose these days LOL
Actually, it really is your job to judge those who are inside the church and call themselves Christians when they are willfully sinning. It's the people outside the church that we are to refrain from judging, as God will judge them. We have to examine our hearts for hypocrisy (speck in eye, log in eye), but in love and truth and humility we are to challenge and if necessary separate from other believers who openly disregard what they know is right.1 Cor. 5:9-13
I have to agree with everything you said and it's not just strip clubs, pornography also does it and most religions I know (Islam,Judaism,Christianity etc) so ban this stuff but our people are blind they do anything they want(fiat currency and more) FYI nice silver
If your friends are willing to go to a strip club for a bachelor party, then it's a virtual guarantee that the rest of their life, even if only in secret, is filled with secret sin that they've not yet dealt with and/or conquered. Great message!
These clubs would not exist if they had no customers. What drives us to think we need this type of service? In truth we are broken individuals with self destructive behaviors and self-loathing. How could we expect someone to love and trust us if we can't even love ourselves. Drawing on God's unconditional love we can learn to respect ourselves and then trust and respect another person who would love us back. We are not ready for marriage if we are going to clubs.
I suspect that what you're describing is a case of a girl who's cheapened herself and given into our crass base sinful poisonous culture, and she doesn't want her own behavior and beliefs called out by having to witness someone who's chosen the less frequented path of righteousness, respect, and love. Her bar has been set so low, that to see a bar set so high that she feels it could never be reached in her own life makes her feel like a failure & sinner.
Stripclub is harmless entertainment...maybe you should see for yourself before you speak..God doesn't care if you watch a woman dance for dollars...I thought this was a coin channel anyway
Thanks for sharing, it's really encouraging to see how just showing a standard can bear witness of your faith to others.
Awesome video! It's great to know there are people like you in the silver comunity.
Thanks Josh. For the most part I think the silver community is a decent bunch of guys (and gals) but I feel the need to "preach" every so often to balance out my "preppin"
Heavenly Prepper very true... hopefully I can make some videos more like yours :)
it's beautiful to know people like you
Strangers in a strange world, brother. And stranger as the years pass on and home gets closer.

Thanks; I tried to find them on eBay, but no avail. I bought the double eagle a few days ago and its on the way. God Bless.
Yeah I never understood that idea of going to a strip club before getting married either.
A very odd "tradition" indeed, no doubt reinforced by our culture of depravity.
Heavenly Prepper Well I might have some depravity in me, but it is saved for my wife lol....

Quite true - thanks.

To be fair, most of us have some sin (secret or not) that is not yet conquered. God bless.
I totally agree with you that a strip club is not appropriate for a bachelor party. I would think women find it disgusting. Religion shouldn't matter.
I wholeheartedly agree.

Precisely.

Your suggestion is quite possible. Keen observations.
To each there own i guess..all the strip clubs i've been to all i see is women with all the power taking mens hard earned money...
By the men's choice of course.
