Why ? She gets a crowd ! So…
People don’t mind her age, they’ll want to see her as long as she is around. This song is so well known, they can sing it in her place. She is nice, lovely, lively and warm to people, so that they give it back to her.
That’s the purpose of this show, 52 years after the song was released, then !
Who else could attract such a welcoming audience, in her generation ? Not very many …
