I'm 21, buddy and I'm a master student at university so I don't think that there's something wrong in my head unlike all these morons who just complain 24/7 about everything
The people complaining change from game to game. People who want the same thing over and over again won't complain until something drastic changes in the game, but people who want a change are now happy that the serious is changing. Personally for myself I like it when a series evolves, especially when it's for the better. In Assassin's Creed Syndicate they introduced events you can do and then had you repeat those same events over and over in the game which got boring. Assassin's Creed Origins felt like it had a lot more variety so I didn't get bored of it.
I've been waiting for an ancient Greece setting in the franchise for a long time , thanks for making my wish come true. Also you guys better have a good Hercules reference/cameo in the game.
Man the game is utmost boring. The wai trailer is . The game is not. Most of the time I'm moving around such beautiful scenery running into absolutely nothing. There is very less happening in odessey in the open world. The same structures and temples that look the same same same for God'sake same is what I run into. Thats not called content. I'm literally not entertained. To meet my entertainment i run for like 40-50 minutes before something happens
During AC Unity and Syndicate: "Ugh this is getting boring, it's all the same." During AC Origins and now Odessy: "Why so many changes? This isn't AC!"
Sarah Jenkins But the character choice is so minimal. Play a male or female. It really has no impact if you don't want to play as a female, because you don't pick her simple. And dialogue choice isn't a bad thing either. Last year we were told AC is becoming an RPG. And this is what we are getting.
This is a copy and paste pf origins....if they would have said it was a DLC that was 30 bucks i would say awsome cant wait to play it...idk wtf this is...i love origins this is no where near assassins creed...
Assassin's Creed games we want. 1. Assassin's creed during Genghis Khan's range (he had a sword of Eden) 2. Assassin's creed sometime in India (It has such a rich lore that would be a great way to introduce a new apple of eden [Ex. Shiva the destroyer has a Trishul {Trident} this can be a piece of eden tha can cause mass destruction once every few years. 3. The Viking age (because it would be so awesome!!!) 4. Feudal Japan (Ninja's (assassin's) vs Samurai's (Templar.)
Ubisoft thank you for this new take on assasins creed, it really refreshes the gameplay and shows how much you really care about improving your game and giving quality experience to gamers!
The only problem I see is where is the assassins part? I can see if they makes it Assassins creed because it take place before then and it is in history, but I don’t understand the assassins creed part
I've been an AC fan from yall's very first release of AC1. I am SO pleased w/ where the series is heading. I love this setting & I love the rpg elements. Great work
Since Assassin's Creed Origins centers around Ancient Egypt, and Odyssey centers around Ancient Greece, it only makes sense that the next installment center around Ancient Rome. Also, I'm hyped for this game! It's gon' be good!!
Yes it's set before origins. I think there are rumours that they're doing a sort of group of origin games. Origins was the creation of the Creed where this may be the creation of the hidden blade similar to that of the one Bayek used.
Hello great ubisoft team, last year at E3 we saw assassins creed origins. The gameplay demo looked very nice and sounded very good. At the release of assassins creed origins I bought the game because i was so excited to play The game. Assassins creed origins was so nice and very good. I played the game on PS4 Pro. I want to say that I am a person with very good ears because I can just see 5% with both of my eyes. Everything in assassins creed origins is very beautiful but I have one problem with the game. At the E3 demo The sound effects and the dialogue sounds they were very good. At the release of this game everything was nice too. But the dialogue sound sounded like some movies with bad audio quality. The music and the sound effects they were pretty good. But not the dialogue sound. I thought that my PS4 Pro was broken or I did something wrong. But I checked this game with some other friends. I heared that same problem on their consuls with their own games. I waited so long for a Patch or a correction of this problem. Can you tell me, why this is how it is? What I exactly want to tell you is, please don’t let that happen with assassins creed Odyssey. I am a big fan of the assassins creed franchise and for me personally the sound is important like the graphic to enjoy the atmosphere of this beautiful game. Enough with this problem. I want to thank you for every assassins creed game that you gave us to play. I wish you good luck with assassins creed odyssey and other games you will give us players..
Fernando López Ríos I dont play alot about this series...The Assassin Creed that I know was about those Assassin vs Templar,The pieces of Eden,The Abstergo Scandal and all those Desmond's ancestor...but this Assassin Creed, not sure if I can play as true "assassin".Not mocking tho, bcuz some assassin play stealthy and some are "stealth are optional" playstyle.
Decker 900 probably because this was for pr and they can't control who sees it they selected the option in the game menu to not have blood. So if someone's 8 year old sees it they can't complain to ubisoft.
Spartan women had a ton more freedom than women from other parts of Greece. While I’m not so sure about these men being comfortable enough to respect her, I don’t think a woman warrior is too far from historically accurate. I’m looking forward to this game.
I bet it has something to do with the real world story to the point that they have to go to ancestors way before the creed started to find a artifact from the ones who came before
It’s pretty much the retelling of ac1 via going further back which is a good idea cause the further back we go the more isu artefacts and isu mutations we see, Assassins creed will never end per say there will be an ending but not an ending to the stories they can tell I see where people are angry though where we’ve been left in the dark about Desmond and Juno’s escape, those people who play just the game would be disappointed but the people who read every bit of knowledge out there know that the Desmond story hasn’t yet finished and a new “sage” has appeared
Will the PC be optimized this time? I love Origins but the antipiracy software destroys my fps even though I purchased the game. I'd be disappointed to see the same thing happen to Odyssey...
My two thoughts on the game... SPOILER, their quite long! First... Seeing all these posts in this group that are saying "Odyssey isn't an Assassin's Creed game because it comes before the birth of the Brotherhood" or "because it's an RPG" makes me want to remind you all that A) you haven't even played the game yet, so you don't really know that for sure, and B) that Assassin's Creed is timeless. If you paid attention to the glyphs in ACII, you'll know that the lore started way before the birth of the Brotherhood... Technically Adam and Eve were the first Assassins and Cain was the first Templar. Not to mention all the sci-fi stuff like the modern day and the Animus (which, according to some sources who played the demo at E3, will be much more present in Odyssey), Sages, Pieces of Eden (one of which is confirmed to be Leonidas' spear), Isu DNA (which is what makes Assassins superhuman, and Leonidas allegedly has a lot of it). Not to mention things seen in Origins that could make an appearance in Odyssey, like the Order of the Ancients, Layla Hassan, and those Isu tombs in some form appropriate to Greece. As for Odyssey being an RPG... I suppose everyone has their genre preferences, but to me it makes Odyssey look awesome :) Not to mention that Origins was technically an RPG, too, it just didn't have branching storylines or dialogue choices a la Mass Effect or the Witcher, and Origins was such a great game and a huge step forward for the series. Second: For those interested, I have a theory as to why you can choose your protagonist's gender and why there are branching storylines in Odyssey despite that it doesn't make sense since the game is a memory of an ancestor in the Animus, and a memory of an ancestor can only be a linear sequence of events (despite it taking place in an open world) and detail the life of one individual ancestor. This theory is based on existing AC lore, especially from the modern day and cryptic optional Isu tomb messages in Origins. In Origins, there was mention of "breaking the code, breaking the node" in the Isu tombs, which I believe refers to using the Animus to time travel and create a time paradox and understanding and altering the Isu's precognition "calculations", much like Nolan North (the voice of Desmond Miles)'s explanation of Patrice Desilet's original vision for Assassin's Creed before Ubisoft changed it. Either Layla could use this ability to rewrite history itself, or simply do it within the confinements of the Animus simulation (that's up for debate because I'm not sure what they'll do with that). She also may need to alter the future because there was mention in the Isu tombs of a new imminent global catastrophe, just like the one Desmond prevented, only this time it's Layla's turn. Nodes are essentially constant points in time that couldn't be changed until Layla. Nodes are what kept the Isu from altering time itself, which ultimately led to their extinction. The code is the fourth dimension-- time, which may be the "sixth sense", AKA knowledge, that the Isu have but humans don't. Obviously the Assassins have a sixth sense to some extent-- their Eagle Vision-- because they carry some Isu DNA, but they don't possess the sixth sense nearly as much as the Isu. Humans only can perceive the first three dimensions because they can only move one way in the fourth dimension-- forward in time. It's like if a 2-D stick figure animation was flipped on its back-- only a 3-D entity could do that to it, and then everything for the 2-D stick figure would happen in reverse. Figuratively speaking, flip a human on its back in the fourth dimension (somehow) and perhaps they could travel backward in time and alter it. This could explain the branching storylines, and also Layla Hassan invented an Animus that can explore the genetic memories of a different person's ancestors, which could explain the choosable protagonists to some extent, along with the whole concept of time travel and possibly creating a paradox. If stepping on a butterfly in the age of dinosaurs can influence the outcome of a political election in the present, then time travel and a resulting paradox could explain why one's ancestor could be either a man or a woman, both with different names. Keep in mind that it's the PLAYER, AKA you and also Layla, who decides their gender. Also, in case you didn't know, precognition is essentially the ability to predict future events by calculating the probabilties of said events by measuring and calculating all the systems, variables, and constants that influence those events. If you think algebra, trigonometry, or calculus are hard, according to my little brother (who is a computer science major) even quantum computers can't come close to making calculations this vast, which is why no one has this ability (yet?). I learned about this in a science fiction literature class; you can find out about this in a lot of sci-fi literature, like Philip K. Dick's short story Minority Report (the movie with Tom Cruise works, too), Dune, which is kind of like a poor man's Star Wars only more cerebral, or in Watchmen with Dr. Manhattan. Anyway, I hope that makes sense, and possibly explains the justification through the existing series lore why Assassin's Creed Odyssey has branching storylines and dual protagonists playing the role of the same ancestor. Leave a reply to let me know if you have any questions, and I'll try to reply back to the best of my ability. And keep in mind, my fellow Assassins, nothing is true, and everything is permitted 🙂 Also sorry if this post is TL;DR for some of you, I get that it's pretty long and complicated 😂 All in all, I think it's going to be a great game. I've already preordered both male and female collectors editions. Game on!
Cannot believe it’s a carbon copy of origins. I’m honestly so sad. They haven’t even changed the hud. It’s 100% the exact same same right down to the font and colour of the writing.
but wasn't socrates straight up asperger/autist? wouldn't it make sense for him to be way less "sociable"? aka, avoiding eye contact, having a very neutral and static stance (like josh from watchdogs 2), almost always having deadpan facial expression/steel focused eyes, and a child like direct way of saying stuff? he didn't even realize he was annoying people cause they never told him. he would probably be really sensitive to unexpected touch from strangers, avoiding eye contact and sensitive to loud noises. he was very direct and very sharp. that's why people hated him. he stood out. he wasn't part of the status quo of coasting. he wasn't smug or provocative, he just was different. like hc andersen, einstein, mozart, mark twain, stanley kubrick, michelangelo, leonardo da vinci, robin williams, abraham lincoln, temple grandin, andy warhol, bill gates, charles darwin, isaac newton, stephen hawkins and so forth. should give an idea of the kind of people/behaviour and demeanour and skills. they say there's not a single innovative scientist without a bit of autism. a very cynical, fact based and emotionally in control people. very introverted and awkward/off the beat. he was cynical, thought a lot, was very intelligent, would be deemed as "talking too much" by anyone but another information passionate autist. he would most likely had had a dry "zinger" humor like george carlin or jimmy carr. like. kind of what today is "british dry humor/comedians"
This looks like an absolutely AMAZING game and I cant wait to play it. However, this no longer is assassin's creed, the only way i could see it tying in is if you end up being the first one to use the hidden blade to kill xerxes (canonically the first use of the hidden blade. ) i mean, origins was the beginnings of the creed... why go further back?
It seems to me that you should not be called assains Cree as they moved away from the original game where the murderous costumes are that made you feel like a real and cautious killer and the killer weapons all gone
Hidden blades are officially hidden now
This was an excellent game, they dont need to include hidden blades in every single game.. I found it incredibly refreshing and brilliant.
@@nidulamaknidulamak4214 isn’t the whole point of assassins creed to have the assassins and the hidden blade?
Why fans complain so much? They ask for something different they say it's no longer assassin but if it's like creed they say.... Meh more of the same!
Jareth Cruz
Exactly, it's like people are addicted to complaining
It's cause those lowlive fucks enjoy complaining about everything... the majority enjoys the games instead
I'm 21, buddy and I'm a master student at university so I don't think that there's something wrong in my head unlike all these morons who just complain 24/7 about everything
Stront the game will probably have no relevance to assassin's like origins did too. If anything it should have been created as a new IP
The people complaining change from game to game. People who want the same thing over and over again won't complain until something drastic changes in the game, but people who want a change are now happy that the serious is changing. This has got to be the most beautiful world created in the AC franchise, and that's saying only by seeing the demo.
HAROUT MARASHLIAN It's between Origins and Odyssey
We're excited for you to explore Ancient Greece, HAROUT!

Lead1121 Hasn't in years.
I just read that the game will have different endings... This is not AC anymore.
It doesn’t but I’m going with it. It might not really be AC anymore but still a good game like Origins was
The franchise lost much of the essence after AC Origins. Its look like a Easy Dark Souls game and a Generic RPG.

I see many unfair comments, so I will say it again here: this is the most exciting Assassin's Creed since the AC II
This looks amazing. I stopped playing assassins creed when they became repetitive but this I will buying 👍🏻👍🏻
Soo hyped for this 😭 can’t wait until October. Thank you Ubisoft for not waiting a year between AC games 🙏🏼
Great to hear, Mo! Which aspects are you looking forward to most?
Best surprise of the year. Awesome.
Here for the blade of yumminess.
"You carry the blade of Leonidas. Act like it" can be translate by "Be a failure and disapoint us all"

I never played Assassin's Creed before . But being Greek . Just from The Trailer and those Stunning Visuals . I can't wait to play it :D :D
Big Assassins Creed fan here since the first game... This game has evolved and so have I... It is awesome!
Let's be real here, let's keep it 300.
I'll buy it when it hits $40 just to explore the environment.
Jonathan J. If you have 100 uplay points you could get it cheaper. Or amazon prime it goes for 45.
Better investment then year 2 destiny content
Man this was the best game I've played in term of open world. The beauty of the landscape the exotic view scenary man I was in love
I've been an AC fan from yall's very first release of AC1. I am SO pleased w/ where the series is heading. I love this setting & I love the rpg elements. Great work
Ho would you respond to someone that says Odyssey isn’t a real assassins creed game because of the lack of assassins and hidden blade?
Since Assassin's Creed Origins centers around Ancient Egypt, and Odyssey centers around Ancient Greece, it only makes sense that the next installment center around Ancient Rome.
Also, I'm hyped for this game! It's gon' be good!!
This can't be an ac game without
Hidden blades
Hood
And
Assassins
Euro44 GamingPal99 one question
Does it has assassin?
(Sorry for bad eng) 😊
1:31 there’s your hood bud
I’m getting a major origins vibe,
But I can’t wait till this comes out
This game looks amazing. Well done ubisoft 👍👏
Haven't played AC since AC3 and I am really excited about it
LOVE IT!!
"E Tree"
ezio soundtrack variant still give me chill
I just love history, and the game goes with it. I find the way they change the sound but keep the rhythm to the ac tune fascinating.
This is Sparta the game
Ha ha funny meme
I'm confused, is this before AC Origins? If so, what does this have to do with any of the AC games?

@@noahreeves714 what does this have to do with assassins creed? We’re you correct about it being about the hidden blade?
The only thing being assassinated here is the franchise
Looks amazing keep up the good work. AC as an RPG is the way to go.
I mean i get it, it would be too obvious, but I'm sure fans still want Japan, Sengoku Era, who doesn't want to assassinate Nobunaga or protect Ieyasu?

Super amazing game
Its about fucking time
should be placed in Denmark year 1000, with Harald bluetooth (He had a peice of eden) (It would be placed between the knight and Viking era.)
As long as there is stealth
I think that this is going to be the Templar/Order of The Ancients origin story.
Are they merging for honor with assassins creed ?
Spartan women had a ton more freedom than women from other parts of Greece. While I’m not so sure about these men being comfortable enough to respect her, I don’t think a woman warrior is too far from historically accurate.

9:47 the horse animation looks like the same one from origins
only a year after origins? I know they said they put 3 years into it, but I think i'd have preferred more time put into it
I didn’t see a hidden blade anywhere
That because the hidden blade hasnt been invented yet, though it will most likely be invented during the game
King Merck I hope because if there is no hidden blade then it won’t really be an assassins creed
Boo-hoo, spear of leonidas is basically the hidden blade in this game, so stop your crying.
JaL90 not crying just saying I didn’t see any hidden blade anywhere lmao
I bet it has something to do with the real world story to the point that they have to go to ancestors way before the creed started to find a artifact from the ones who came before
Uhh, where’s the hood

I hope Bill & Ted show up in this one
This game is a work of art 👌
It’s pretty much the retelling of ac1 via going further back which is a good idea cause the further back we go the more isu artefacts and isu mutations we see, Assassins creed will never end per say there will be an ending but not an ending to the stories they can tell
I see where people are angry though where we’ve been left in the dark about Desmond and Juno’s escape, those people who play just the game would be disappointed but the people who read every bit of knowledge out there know that the Desmond story hasn’t yet finished and a new “sage” has appeared
omg, how can one go from family & loss to war & bloodshed in under 10 seconds...
Shouldn't those marble statues be painted?
So this is AC origins 2
will we be able to up grade the ship
Will the PC be optimized this time? I love Origins but the antipiracy software destroys my fps even though I purchased the game. I'd be disappointed to see the same thing happen to Odyssey...
How is that 4k so crude looking?
We are Sparta!!!!
What do we know about how the Assasins was at That time?
Rise: Son of Assassins Creed Origins
GIVE US SPLINTER CELL!
Adam Jensen, is a Spartan? awesome
This is just the last 1/3 of Origins.
Where are the limbs, gibs, blood and gore at? This is Sparta after all!
I was getting ready to make fun of this game, but this legit looks pretty awesome imo.
Any stealth
Yes
Stealth has always been at the core of the franchise
SwapdatOo yeah, thats true, but it wasnt even enjoyable until the introduced hiding zones in ac 3
please let there be co-op or something like that
This isn’t even Assassins Creed anymore at this point, but hey I’m still fucking loving it.
I Do have a personal bias to Ancient Greece
Question ❓ if I answer the question they tell me from these options can i see the other options or what ?
Hell yeah

And keep in mind, my fellow Assassins, nothing is true, and everything is permitted 🙂 Also sorry if this post is TL;DR for some of you, I get that it's pretty long and complicated 😂
All in all, I think it's going to be a great game. I've already preordered both male and female collectors editions.
Game on!
This is a gane i will play .
When can we preorder
This game had more replayability than Valhalla, not saying that it's a bad game, but it takes two steps back
It doesn’t have the same blood and stuff like orogins
When will it be in japan?
I keep thinking he should have wore a white shirt
I just read that the game will have different endings... This is not AC anymore.
the next thing ac series needs is co op
Please tell me that he has a hidden blade if not. It's not assassins creed.
Best RPG in all aspects.
Cannot believe it’s a carbon copy of origins. I’m honestly so sad. They haven’t even changed the hud. It’s 100% the exact same same right down to the font and colour of the writing.
Is that Elias Toufexis voicing the narration (and by extension, presumably, the Main Character)?
Yes.
I bet he did ask for this
Where is assassins creed ?
Clearly the music is inspired by the Witcher 3.
but wasn't socrates straight up asperger/autist? wouldn't it make sense for him to be way less "sociable"? aka, avoiding eye contact, having a very neutral and static stance (like josh from watchdogs 2), almost always having deadpan facial expression/steel focused eyes, and a child like direct way of saying stuff? he didn't even realize he was annoying people cause they never told him. he would probably be really sensitive to unexpected touch from strangers, avoiding eye contact and sensitive to loud noises. he was very direct and very sharp. that's why people hated him. he stood out. he wasn't part of the status quo of coasting. he wasn't smug or provocative, he just was different.
like hc andersen, einstein, mozart, mark twain, stanley kubrick, michelangelo, leonardo da vinci, robin williams, abraham lincoln, temple grandin, andy warhol, bill gates, charles darwin, isaac newton, stephen hawkins and so forth. should give an idea of the kind of people/behaviour and demeanour and skills.
they say there's not a single innovative scientist without a bit of autism. a very cynical, fact based and emotionally in control people. very introverted and awkward/off the beat.
he was cynical, thought a lot, was very intelligent, would be deemed as "talking too much" by anyone but another information passionate autist. he would most likely had had a dry "zinger" humor like george carlin or jimmy carr. like. kind of what today is "british dry humor/comedians"
so are alexious and kassandra related or something
MinecraftSamurai technically the same character. You can just pick one or the other.
Επιτέλους!!!!!!
Wow I didn’t expact the minotaurus at the end!
It seems to me that you should not be called assains Cree as they moved away from the original game where the murderous costumes are that made you feel like a real and cautious killer and the killer weapons all gone
What is the Witcher 3 downgrade ?
can this game use shield!?
