The thing about Home Alone 3 was that it originally would've featured a teenage Kevin going through adolescent changes, but since Macaulay quit acting after 1994, they rewrote everything with a new kid and his family, yet they still retain the same gags and suburban setting of Chicago.
@twist58 I read throughout the years that Macaulay Culkin's childhood acting career was very emotionally tiring on him because of how controlling his father was regarding the numerous children he had guardianship over at the time. Don't forget that Macaulay had seven siblings, two of which have since passed and some who also pursued to star in movies as well. I also heard a story that the father forced the studios to hire Macaulay in The Good Son by refusing to let him be in Home Alone 2, if refused. Despite these hardships, he did act in three films years later as a young adult; Saved!, Party Monster and Sex & Breakfast. After forming a band and getting arrested for drug posession, he has attempted to turn his life around. He starred in a Google commercial, reprising his role as Kevin. Paying homage to many iconic scenes from the OG movie. Macaulay also started a family, then got hired for a role on American Horror Story. If he truly wants to return to regular acting, I truly hope things will work out. I grew up with his films so they've really stuck with me over the years.

I saw the first Home Alone when it came out in theatres back in 1990. This past Christmas was the first time to see this one in its entirety. I liked the first one only a tiny bit more because his cleverness, not just against the crooks, but with anything he has to deal with, was more off-the-cuff. Whereas, this one, was more sinister-like... but in a child's way. The scene that got to me was when he gave a turtle dove to the lady, and he had one as well, in this way they would stay connected. When my mom passed away, I put doves just like those in my mom's casket, to keep her company. I now wish I had kept one of them so we could stay connected. I miss her, and my dad, very much. 😥
Fun fact: the Talkboy was conceived as a fictional toy for the movie, but was soon developed by Tiger Electronics as a real-life product. I had one as a kid-- of course I did the "credit card? You got it" line a few times.

Honest Trailer did a video where they asked a doctor what kinds of injuries the Wet/Sticky Bandits would suffer/how many times they would have died in these 2 movies. Feel free to look it up!
36:04 Seriously? You lost your 8 year old son at Christmas, 2 years running, and you're worried about £900 when you can afford to own a 16 bedroom mansion?
When Kevin visits various New York City landmarks, his visit to the World Trade Center was removed from television broadcasts after 2001, out of respect for the victims of the 9/11 attacks. As of Christmas 2018, the scene at the WTC has been restored.
Weird. How would erasing something from history be considered respectful? The building was a feature of the historical skyline. The people inside performed their duties and lived their lives there. Erasing everything about that is the opposite of what we should do.
Actually 30. Harry's deaths (13) broken neck in the stairs, cardiac arrest after being hit by Marv, snow shovel in the head, broken back after falling on a car from three stories, broken back after falling off the ladder, brain trauma after tools on head, kerosene explosion, iron bar in the face, two story fall on back, crushed by iron bar, crushed by tool shelf, multi story fall, crushed by Marv. Marv's deaths (17) broken neck after an iron, crushed by Harry, snow shovel in the head, four times brick in the face from five or more stories, staple gun three times, two story fall, crushed by shelf and paint can, electrocution, concrete on the head, iron bar in the face, two story fall on back, crushed by iron bar, crushed by tool shelf, multi story fall.
You could make a case for the first movie that they could have survived, as none of the traps by themselves were really fatal, though they should have had a ton of broken bones and concussions. But in the second movie, the traps were so over the top they should have died on every single one.

First of all I disagree and let her be the judge of that Home Alone 4 and 5 sucked and besides Macaulay Culkin was 22 in 2002 he couldn't play the role anymore
airport story time: ok so this was before 9/11, remember that, me and my mum were heading back to Spain from England, my dad was away at the time so it was just the two of us, we learned the plane was overbooked and my mum asked was there anyway we could get on the flight; she had work and I had school the next day...so they had to do whatever they could. The airline thought about it and said they would with the crew and what not onboard and after a few moments they said "ok, there is a way...but you both have to behave and do exactly as your told." so we got to sit in the back of cockpit area with the pilots, where their were two fold down seats, the flight wasn't overly long so it wasn't bad...have to say that is something i'll remember. that won't happen anymore. second story: i flew to Las Vegas and that was the first major time i flew anywhere alone...my mum was typically very nervous but she knew my brother and my sister in law were picking me up there. still she was constantly saying "oh you'll need this piece of paper and sign this and make sure you have this to show them and passport control bla bla bla" can't deny i was nervous too. so i got to Las Vegas, fairly nervous...came to passport control super prepared for the guy to ask for papers n what not and i was like "do you need to see these?" and he was like "nah" and waved me aside. XD
I remember flying to England from Australia in the early 90's when i was a kid. The cabin crew took my brother, sister and I into the cockpit, mid flight just because they thought it might be a cool thing to show kids. They did the same thing for other families on the flight. Those days will never come back.
Funny how both these "family" movies are both full of traps that wouldn't look out of place in a saw or hostel movie and both end with a kid about to get his ass kicked.
"Kevin's not here." "Kevin's not here." "Kevin's not here." "Kevin's not here." "Kevin's not here." "Kevin's not here." "Kevin's not here." "Kevin's not here." "Kevin's not here." "Kevin's not here." "Kevin's not here." "Kevin's not here." "Kevin's not here." "Kevin's not here." "What?" "KEVIN!" 🤣 My favorite part of the reaction.
If you really like comedy...(There's Something About Mary) would be a great movie. The hotel manager is Tim Curry who played Pennywise in the original IT!
I think I seen some doctor did "watching home alone movies" (first two) and amount of injury human would suffer out of Kevins "traps" I fell once on back on a stairs when I was younger I barely could not move for almost a minute....... this guys would get sooo much injuries I wonder even if they would survive. I mean electric shocks just one of them...
Have been enjoying your channel and reactions especially to Home Alone 1&2 I myself do enjoy Home Alone 3 even though alot of people didn't like it.... have a great one and be safe out there thank you for your time to make these reactions!🙂🙂👍🤙🤙🤙
I don't understand it ether . I guess people don't understand. That just because they don't like it . That means it's a bad movie . Like they are the center of the universe or something. So they fail to understand that people have different opinions on movies. I like the 3rd one too . Because there's a new group of morons that get hurt . I never would say a movie is bad . Because that would just be my opinion . I leave it up to the person watching it to decide . Because I understand that every one has their own opinions on movies.
Number 3 was actually the first one I saw and is my favorite out of the franchise. Didn't see 1 or 2 until much later, so there might be a bit of bias in my opinion, but still... The rest I wasn't nearly as impressed by
These men survived all of the punishment Kevin inflicted upon them because these movies are aimed at families and children, so no one can die or be seriously injured. A reuinion movie with the original cast(if possible and if all are willing/interested) for the first movie's 35th anniversary in 2025 would be awesome.
The actor that played Kevin’s Dad in the movie John Heard had died in 2017 and the actor that says keep the change you filthy animal in the old movie is Ralph Foody he was in a Chuck Norris movie called Code of Silence.
Funny about the family having all the truck load of presents, and the large bill, either they trade all the presents to pay for the bill, or they will have the hassle of putting all the gifts on a truck back to Chicago and where ever Frank's side of the family goes. And the Airplane will not accept just anything on flight.
Ms. Maggi, love your reaction, and your accent. It's soon cute. The reason why it seems that Kevin is ignored by his family and pearents to a certain degree is very simple. It's because, when you are that young as a child; your the runt of the fammily. People often use the excuse of age, in the name of Fammily Hiarchy, to keep that charade going. The sad part is that people don't know or understand that kids have feelings too. They should not be ignored.
Why did you skip the roller-blade dialouge?!?It was the most moving and wise thing of the whole movie!!😭 22:11 - 22:15 Because he's a kid:no one would have believed him and then they would have been like:"Where are your parents?"and he wouldn't have gotten the chance to take care of the thieves anymore. 36:21 - 36:25 I am *so proud and glad* everytime I hear someone saying this!* ^ *
The distinguished and handsome gentleman playing Kevin's dad(twice) John Heard, passed away in 2017 recovering from back surgery after a long life at the age of 72! I liked his layed back father figure in both movies...untill he saw the bills (twice).ha- ha!
I don't know which version of this movie you watched, but in the original version when Kevin walked into the Plaza Hotel for the first time he asked for directions from a man. Than man became the 45th President of the US President Donald J. Trump, who was a celebrity in New York at that time. Around 2015-2016 they released a version without that interaction. The studio said it was about "equal time" meaning if they aired it during the election season they would be required to give equal time on air to his opponent for the same cost, which was free. I think that the studios were full of it. They just refuse to admit that they have a bias in politics.
29:08 "I don't know how they're moving." I don't know how they're _alive_ at this point. I mean every single brick that nailed Marv would've _killed_ him. Harry's been in an explosion that _also_ would've killed him.

second story: i flew to Las Vegas and that was the first major time i flew anywhere alone...my mum was typically very nervous but she knew my brother and my sister in law were picking me up there. still she was constantly saying "oh you'll need this piece of paper and sign this and make sure you have this to show them and passport control bla bla bla" can't deny i was nervous too. so i got to Las Vegas, fairly nervous...came to passport control super prepared for the guy to ask for papers n what not and i was like "do you need to see these?" and he was like "nah" and waved me aside. XD
Someone on telly said the folding seats are called jump seats, for the crew.
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jump_seat
I remember flying to England from Australia in the early 90's when i was a kid. The cabin crew took my brother, sister and I into the cockpit, mid flight just because they thought it might be a cool thing to show kids. They did the same thing for other families on the flight. Those days will never come back.
@@Pagan616 tis a sad thing :(
Me and my mom agreed Kevin’s family were horrible to him and deserved everything he said to them
Funny how both these "family" movies are both full of traps that wouldn't look out of place in a saw or hostel movie and both end with a kid about to get his ass kicked.
There's a fun theory that Kevin Saw is Kevin grown up.
Yeess, we've been waiting for this one
P.S. Happy New Year Magy 😊
I really like your choice of movies!
her reactions are so
KAWAII!!!!!!!!!! (heart attack)
"Kevin's not here."
"Kevin's not here."
"Kevin's not here."
"Kevin's not here."
"Kevin's not here."
"Kevin's not here."
"Kevin's not here."
"Kevin's not here."
"Kevin's not here."
"Kevin's not here."
"Kevin's not here."
"Kevin's not here."
"Kevin's not here."
"Kevin's not here."
"What?"
"KEVIN!"
🤣 My favorite part of the reaction.
Finally I’ve been waiting for this moment 😃👏🏻
If you really like comedy...(There's Something About Mary) would be a great movie.
The hotel manager is Tim Curry who played Pennywise in the original IT!
I think I seen some doctor did "watching home alone movies" (first two) and amount of injury human would suffer out of Kevins "traps" I fell once on back on a stairs when I was younger I barely could not move for almost a minute....... this guys would get sooo much injuries I wonder even if they would survive. I mean electric shocks just one of them...
This is the last Home Alone with Kevin. Any other movies called Home Alone is a whole new characters.
The fourth movie actually brings back Kevin, Marv, and Kevin’s family. They’re just played by different actors.
Have been enjoying your channel and reactions especially to Home Alone 1&2 I myself do enjoy Home Alone 3 even though alot of people didn't like it.... have a great one and be safe out there thank you for your time to make these reactions!🙂🙂👍🤙🤙🤙
Great video!! Really hope you’ll watch the 3rd movie too and give us you’re reaction to it!
The boy who played Fuller is actually his brother in real life :-)
This movie Brings Back childhood memorys
Too be fair many tourists have likely got lost in New York.
The passing of the bags is pure comedy gold xD you don't get that kind of humor anymore
Yesss😢the movie had me all the time smiling and laughing
13:30 well that kindly love nice of him
Y does everyone hate home alone 3 I thought it was okay
The rest I wasn't nearly as impressed by
Home alone 3 was good but not as good as home alone 1and 2 home alone 4 and 5 sucked
@@rayshawnhoward5068 it's your opinion
27:16 turns and notices hat is on fire...immediately panics and checks taps etc...panic removing the obvious answer...swipe the hat off???
The upgraded moment with paint cans:
Kevin: Oh so you remembered that old trick. Would a change of scenery help increase the pain?
You got it right: only the first TWO movies is the true "Home Alone"
Other "sequels" after this DONT exist!
So anyone else hear of the theory that Kevin grows up to be jigsaw?
Yes the Plaza hotel and The Waldorf Astoria are still like that. Their Suites are still Uber exclusive.
“He has an M” That’s the scar Harry got from the first movie when he grabbed the heated door knob.
It amazing what a difference a year makes. Magy is a little stiff in this video but now she is so bubbly and comfortable in front of the camera.
Really enjoyed the video, bytheway, there is excually five parts but those are all the different actors and characters..
Ok.... this laugh 6:20 and this laugh 24:43 are so precious. Thank u for that ❤
🎊🧸'Tis the Season! 🎄🎁
Magy, I could watch and listen to you talk forever. You're adorable and your English is precious.
Funny about the family having all the truck load of presents, and the large bill, either they trade all the presents to pay for the bill, or they will have the hassle of putting all the gifts on a truck back to Chicago and where ever Frank's side of the family goes. And the Airplane will not accept just anything on flight.
A great title for this is how these guys are not dead?!! Might i add you have a pretty smile and laugh.
Yes the Plaza hotel is real. I've seen it many times. Fifth Avenue Central Park South.
I need a whatsapp emoji with your smiling face.
I know right??
magy is so precious
Why did you skip the roller-blade dialouge?!?It was the most moving and wise thing of the whole movie!!😭
22:11 - 22:15 Because he's a kid:no one would have believed him and then they would have been like:"Where are your parents?"and he wouldn't have gotten the chance to take care of the thieves anymore.
HOW DID THAT BLOW UP CLOWN GET TO NY WHEN IT WAS IN KEVIN'S BAG WHCH WAS IN FLORIDA??? Always bugs me to no end...
Thanks for the video, you're getting better each time.
Happy New Year Magy.
Check out National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
I don't know which version of this movie you watched, but in the original version when Kevin walked into the Plaza Hotel for the first time he asked for directions from a man. Than man became the 45th President of the US President Donald J. Trump, who was a celebrity in New York at that time. Around 2015-2016 they released a version without that interaction. The studio said it was about "equal time" meaning if they aired it during the election season they would be required to give equal time on air to his opponent for the same cost, which was free. I think that the studios were full of it. They just refuse to admit that they have a bias in politics.
the traps in this movies are so much funnier. I cry from laughter every time.
Same
I don't know why, but I found the sound in the transition between scenes in this video at 25:52 - 25:55 to be way funnier than it should've been.
Home alone 3 is also good and funny and Scarlett Johansson who plays Black Widow is in that movie she was way younger
24:56 Now you would _think,_ at _this_ point, Marv would reason, "This is not an ordinary doorknob. I probably ought to stop pulling."
Magy got a really nice smile
There’s a rumor saying that Kevin McAllister grows up to be jigsaw from saw franchise
25:24 Nose piercings anyone?
29:08 "I don't know how they're moving."
I don't know how they're _alive_ at this point. I mean every single brick that nailed Marv would've _killed_ him. Harry's been in an explosion that _also_ would've killed him.
